Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

Nicole is adorable, very helpful, the house is decorated with beautiful taste, the garden is very pleasant, in terms of equipment nothing is missing. The neighborhood is very pleasant with many pedestrian walks nearby. Really a very nice stay, thank you Nicole for your hospitality. Nathalie

Melanie and Alex are incredible hosts! From check-in to check-out, they were tremendously graceful, personable, and helpful (all things within the Airbnb and unrelated to the property)! Strongly encourage any travelers / digital nomads to book this home away from home! Great host, property, four legged friends (Donkey - Irish, Flora and Colombe) and experience in Provence!

Enchanting stay with a lovely host. More beautiful than the pictures. I brought my baby and Sylvie was so kind to prepare a crib, baby bath, baby chair, and many extra helpful baby items. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Aurelie’s home was absolutely beautiful and located in a peaceful, small village in the Luberon. It was easy to find, and check-in was a breeze thanks to clear, straightforward instructions. The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, and even more charming than the photos — it matched the description perfectly. Aurelie was a wonderful host, checking in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. A few helpful tips: the village is very quiet with limited restaurants or shops, so it's a good idea to stop at a grocery store beforehand, especially if you're arriving on a Sunday. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in the Luberon!

We have just returned from a week at Rogier's Gordes house, and we are already planning a return for next year! We had booked this property on 3 previous occasions, but each one was cancelled, twice because of Covid, and then because of a family bereavement, - but for each of these, Rogier was understanding and supportive, so we were relieved to finally make it in 2025. It was worth the wait, as the property is simply wonderful! As the photos suggest, this is an extremely spacious and well appointed home, and the reality is even more impressive. Despite the mixed May weather, we took every opportunity to sit on the terrace, enjoying that wonderful panoramic view. Walking around the village, especially the footpaths leading up to the famous viewing point, is a real pleasure, and kept us fit. Returning for an ice cream from the cafe next door was a recurring treat. Thanks too, to Sophie for meeting us at arrival and departure. We hope to see you next year!

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s, and Catherine’s apt is our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness—the rooms were larger than we expected and the balcony was huge. Bed so comfy, bathroom squeaky clean, kitchen and dining room just right for the two of us, lots of places to sit and relax. We felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. Catherine’s directions were super easy to follow and her recommendations for restaurants outstanding. It was our first time in Menerbes and we fell in love with it. We will definitely be back!

A home full of charm where you feel good. Raphaël is available and responds very quickly to all our questions. The location is great, right in the city center, close to shops and restaurants. The parking is a 2-minute walk, we will come back with great pleasure.

Vic's apartment Allan is really very nice and clean. We immediately feel comfortable in this little cocoon. I highly recommend this accommodation for people visiting the Isle sur la Sorgue. Allan and Vic were very responsive to every request. A big thank you to them, we had a very pleasant weekend. Bruno

Staying in this ancient building with renovated suites was a quintessential Avignon experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the location just off Place de l'Horloge. Vanessa provided clear instructions for check-in and we had no other needs to contact her about during our stay, but I am confident she would have been available and responsive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean & beautiful, and the open living space was perfect for our 3-night stay. We were so happy to be there on a Saturday so that we could enjoy the street market with local artisans and vendors! :) Would stay here again if ever in Avignon. Loved staying in the old city and finding small cafés on narrow Rues to enjoy Spritzes or a meal or even a morning croissant.

The accommodation was as described, very well located in a charming little village. The exterior, shared with the owners, is very pleasant with the beautiful pool and barbecue (remember to bring charcoal) and the trampoline for the children. (The only small negative point, if there is one, would be the bed mattress) We had a very good stay and recommend Fabien and Aurélie's central accommodation for visiting the Luberon.

Highest praise for Virginie & her apartment in L'Isle sur la Sorgue! We travel quite a lot & stay almost exclusively in AirBnBs. We've been away from home for 5 and 1/2 months just this year. Virginie is the best host we've encountered. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment & she came immediately to help! You can't beat the location in the center of the historic district. Several cafes, restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries, & the best butchers we've ever encountered (Le Deux Jumeaux on Rue de Republique) are within a 1-5 minute walk. The new movie theater is also very close by. Having a private terrace is a really nice bonus. There is an awning for shade. Everything is in excellent working order.

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We spent 3 nights in Solange's apartment. It was a very pleasant stay, the apartment is very well located and is very well equipped. Solange is very friendly and nice. See you soon ☺️

Very good communication, the accommodation is ideally located to do everything on foot. Free parking is available about 10 minutes away. The small terrace is a plus, the accommodation is quiet, well furnished and clean.

We had a great stay at Isabel's! She is very welcoming and concerned about the well-being of her tenants. The apartment is impeccably clean, quiet and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. A real plus: the possibility of parking your car in front of the house, closed gate and easily reach the center of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on foot. We highly recommend this listing!

Elsa is very responsive and left us accommodation that was completely in line with the description. The accommodation is very well located: 15 min walk to the city center and restaurants and others. The residence is safe and quiet. The accommodation is very well oriented.

We felt very comfortable in Thierry's apartment. Thierry welcomed us very warmly, explained everything, gave us great tips. The apartment is located on a property that houses other (holiday) apartments. The whole property is very well maintained and wonderfully planted. The pool was very refreshing, and especially important for parents: fenced! Thierry's apartment is superbly equipped! There is really nothing missing! It's also great that the larger apartment next door can also be rented through Thierry and you could also spend the holiday there with friends or family. The location was also very good for us. You could be in the center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in about 20 minutes on foot. It takes 5 minutes by car and you can easily find a parking space - unless it's a market, then you should start early enough! All in all, we had a wonderful vacation at Thierry's and would love to come back!

Zahra El Kassimi was very kind and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for the ten days we were in Avignon. The apartment was very centrally located, just next to the old papal residence and only a 5-minute walk from the main street. The apartment had 2 air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. It was over 30 degrees in Avignon, but the apartment was cool and nice. Everything we needed worked perfectly in the apartment and we had a great time. We would recommend this apartment at Mrs. El Kassimi's to anyone visiting Avignon, who wants to stay centrally and have a short distance to almost everything in the old town. Lise and Bjørner

Béatrice is lovely and helpful. Friendly and welcoming to us and very kind with my dog. We had a relaxing and happy week here. The big pool is absolutely fantastic and the area around is private, spacious, practical and so very welcoming to enjoy. Swimming in the evening too with the trees around and the moon shining was just wonderful! Secure to park your car - everything feels safe and peaceful. We were so fortunate to be able to get this week as it’s booked up now for all of summer - definetly recommend! Thank you for our stay :)

We spent a night at Coralie and Romain's place. The bedding is very comfortable, the apartment spacious and quiet. I have read some comments about the VMC. If you close the doors to the bathroom and toilets, you can't hear it. We had a very good exchange with Coralie, who was very welcoming. There are all kinds of shops nearby; Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a charming little town. I recommend Coralie and Romain's accommodation.
