There's an airy seaside feel inside and out, thanks to large windows, white decor and blue accents. A private dock on a tidal creek with a great view of a 150 year old lighthouse, a flower garden and an extensive lawn make this property ideal for friends, family and pets. This is the upper level of a two unit home so very safe for families. An open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms are all connected. A very large breakfast bar with eight bar stools and a view of the TV. Premium cable TV and great wifi. This listing is for the use of the entire top floor unit. We only ask that guest not try to access the first level living space. The front and rear yards are available anytime during your stay. There is a large rear lawn with scenic marsh views and views of the Ravenel cable-stay Bridge and Morris Island lighthouse. The large front deck has limited views of the ocean and the breaking surf can be heard throughout the home. I'm available by text most anytime. Near the “washout” an area for the best surfing in SC, Morris Island where the Civil War Battle of Battery Wagner was fought and a bird sanctuary for the bird watcher Uber and Lyft for trips into the city of Charleston. There is no public bus service on the island. Traffic getting on the island can be heavy on the weekends so do your grocery shopping during the week or on your way in. There is a small market on the island but very limited and expensive.

Island Bungalow, located on Bowens Island, a one bedroom 400 sq ft stand alone cottage on the Folly River as part of the owners property with deep water dock with sunset views. Fishing, crabbing, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking, are available right on the island. The cottage is nestled among mature oak and palm trees for that relaxing island ambiance. Just a walk down the dirt road is the world famous Bowens Island Restaurant, Folly Beach 2 miles by car or bike, 15 minutes to Charleston

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. We decided it was just the kind of property we enjoy when we travel, so, Voila! we decided to share it with you!
