It's small but relaxing. No animals sorry. You have your own covered deck and private area. Host lives on the property also. Just off SH2 there is parking out the front on the roadside for trucks or bring your car in as you have your own off street parking. There is a local 4 Square and fish and chip shop.

a rustic kiwi farm adventure was just what my central London based nieces needed. The carpet might be a bit old but it made up for it with bunk beds, a trampoline, a flying fox, a freindly farm cat, 3 dogs, horses, sheep, cows and a pink bathtub. We loved the fireplace, the view is stunning and our hosts were friendly as. Don't be fooled by its rough edges, this is kiwi farm at its best.

Really enjoyed my stay. Felt it was well priced for what it was, and close enough to the city. Really enjoyed the outlook over the paddock. Couple of small things like the vent in the bathroom flapping in the wind took a little away from the experience, but overall i would absolutely book again. Oh and the shower was bliss.

COWS!!! So cool to see all the cows hanging out when we arrived. This place is super cute, very vibey. Love the little basket we got for check in, and we were worried about it getting cold but the diesel heater kept it super toasty. What a great retreat on our trip south. Loved it!
