My stay at The Woodlands was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, cozy, and deeply restorative. The cabin has a peaceful, tucked-away feel that made it easy to unplug and settle into stillness. I spent the weekend journaling, reading, and just breathing, with no pressure to be anywhere but there. While there were tons of trails to hike and stars to gaze, I didn’t venture out much—sometimes the best kind of retreat is the one where you don’t feel the need to do anything at all if your content and coszy staying in. The space itself is thoughtfully laid out and incredibly comfortable, with just the right balance of rustic charm and intentional care. I’m so grateful for the chance to stay—it was exactly the reset I needed.

Trisha is a top notch host who is highly attentive and responsive. The cabin was clean, secluded, peaceful and exactly how described. The fishing was great, the lake access was on the property with a pier to fish from. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Glenn and Haley’s listing was amazing. Their home is beautiful and secluded in nature while being easily accessible. The hosts are incredibly responsive and we felt so at peace. If you are looking to relax for a great value this is your place. The beds are INCREDIBLY comfortable as well!
