Perfect place to stay for a local event over two days. The flat was clean, tidy and comfortable and in an interesting area.

Our second stay in this beautiful apartment. We will most certainly be back again, which really says it all! The location is superb and the apartment is gorgeous, comfortable and really homely. We love it! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

A gem of an appartement in a great location despite the fact that the glorious past of the building is, well... in the past! The appartement is light and well appointed and has fascinating views of the industrial port and the town below.

A brilliant location, near the perfect sandy beach and all local amenities in this wonderful "old world" resort. Restaurants and pubs (and a brewery) only a few minutes walk away. The access might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems - it's up two flights of steep steps, the first of which is like a fire escape. We had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime! We really enjoyed our stay. There are lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and the beautiful and spacious park is just across the road which was really handy. The apartment is comfortable and uncluttered which suited us and the excellent check-in instructions made this aspect really easy and straightforward. The hosts are really responsive so we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here. Having an allocated parking space was the icing on the cake as we were in and out a lot visiting various local attractions. Our favourite things to do were the guided tour of the castle, Mersea Island and the Beth Chatto Gardens. If you want to splash out then we can really recommend booking the tasting menu at Kintsu - absolutely superb.

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Storm Cottage. Full of character, warmth, and everything you need for a relaxing coastal escape. The location is great, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of local gems like the chippy and family pub. The cottage itself is clearly a much-loved family home, not a sterile rental, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. From the well-stocked kitchen to the books, piano and projector setup, everything is there to make you feel at home. It’s worth reading the listing closely, it’s honest and accurate. If you’re looking for a pristine hotel-like experience with everything neatly tucked away, this may not be for you. But if you appreciate a soulful, creative space with lots of thoughtful touches, you’ll love it. Communication with Steve was excellent, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. We’d love to come back again.

We had the most fabulous stay at the Crows Nest. We were a family of 10 visiting for our Dad's 90th birthday. Amanda really has thought of everything. We have never stayed anywhere that is so well equipped. The entire property was clean and beautifully decorated. The sea just a short walk away. We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

Visited for a wedding nearby, great stay and Melanie was flexible with check in times.

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

Such a beautiful location with large windows to appreciate from every direction. We loved the local fish shop with daily fresh fish to buy, as well as the sweet cafes.

Lovely property- exactly as in the photos. Very quiet. Beautiful view over lake from the patio area.

The condo is exactly like the photos, spotlessly clean and with gorgeous views of the beach. Centrally located just 5 minutes walk to the railway staying and several good restaurants within 3 minutes walk. Would happily recommend

properties are very nice split level property that reminds me of an old Edwardian type property. It’s been very nicely done out the hot tub is really good and just generally everything just worked. The location is really good and we’d love to come back.

A smart little flat. Only gripes was the usual - lighting: bar one dimmer over the dining table it's just on or off switches. Needs more control. There is one other issue - no extractor fan of any kind for use when cooking. The whole flat then gets the aroma of what you are cooking - good or bad; with the hob where it is on the island an overhead is not a great idea, but new hobs now available with worktop located extractors, I personally would ditch the old one and put one of those in. But over all a good flat - just a shame it's in Ipswich.

We had a wonderful stay in Benji and Lea's apartment. We had more than enough space and slept wonderfully in the comfy bed. Little hint for traverlers with babies: As it is a historical building the windows are not very well insulated and it can get quite cold at night when it's windy outside. No problem for us, the blankets were nice and warm, but we had to buy a warmer sleeping bag for our baby as we didn't expected it to be so cold and didn't want to sleep with the heating on (end of may, 12-14°C outside at night). The other nights when it wasn't windy outside it was much warmer in the bedroom!

Micheal was really warm & welcoming host, with lots of humour & charm. He makes a mean cocktail in their cool little bar at the back of their lovely danish shop He gave us great recommendations for place to go and places to eat . The studio is above the shop and is very clean with everything you need , perfect for 2 people. When we return to Frinton we will definitely be trying to stay at the studio. Thank you’re hospitably

Lovely seafront location with fantastic views over the beach and sea. Less than five minutes' walk to the town centre. Accommodation was welcoming and beautifully presented.

Donna was so committed to our stay and communicative from the minute we booked. Great recommendations and suggestions for local things to do . The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and the bed and furniture were so comfortable . Absolutely amazing location with great parking outside and the branch across the road,and yet once in.. you never heard a thing. Will certainly return. We felt so welcome. This flat was absolutely perfect for our 3 week stay in Felixstowe. Spacious w all the appliances you need. Having 2 bathrooms was great for our traveling party of 3. Easy to walk to Felixstowe Pier, Beach Street, and in-town Felixstowe. No car necessary. BONUS: This flat has its’ own assigned parking space so when local fam came to pick us up, they had an easy spot to park in. Key retrieval was easy and gaining access was also. Thank you!
