The Bird's Nest at Blackthorn Lane

YasminRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay here. Loved meeting Sadie and her family and many friendly animals. The barn was decorated beautifully, felt cosy and chic. Lots of personal touches which were a treat. The kitchen was fully stocked and access to a lovely garden. Everything was super clean and lots of amenities such as soap, shampoo hair dryer etc. Such a peaceful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, peaceful, and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The cozy living room made for the perfect spot to unwind, especially with the fire in the evenings adding to the charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Hot fireplace cottage

This is the best AirBnB that I’ve ever stayed in and Conor was the best BnB host I’ve ever had. Conor goes above and beyond and has the kindest soul. If you’re a creative then this is a must stay place. Thank you Conor and Bánín (his incredible doggy) for the best stay ever!

Kilrateera Cottage, Mountshannon/Lough Derg

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a very peaceful and relaxing few days at Greg and Annie’s beautiful place in the trees on Mountshannon. Our hosts were helpful and friendly, their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area were an encouragement, to explore more than just our main objective (which was to visit Holy Island Inis Cealtra on Loch Derg). Also… best shower ever!

Renovated Lough Derg Country House near Scarriff

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Connie’s beautiful home in the peaceful East Clare countryside. The red roses and traditional Irish charm was just what we were hoping for. We loved the scenic views—and especially watching the cows in the nearby fields! The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use, and we really appreciated the great water pressure and plenty of warm water. Brenden the neighbor was very helpful, and we enjoyed delicious meals at Peppers and The Half Barrel. Thank you, Connie, for a wonderful stay—we hope to return!

Laharden

We only stayed one night here to be near the Shannon Airport for our flight the following day, but all four of us wished we’d stayed here longer! This house is super cute and cozy. Private, peaceful, and beautiful surroundings. Great WiFi and cell service here. Would recommend.

Coastal Hideaway Pod, Doolin.

CourtneyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The pod was perfect for my husband and I. It was nice and cozy and had beautiful views of the coast. It is in a great location for exploring all of the attractions in the area. Sinead was also very welcoming and super quick at responding if we had any questions. They also had a lovely dog Bella that greated us when we arrived. We hope to stay here again in the future!

A Romantic Getaway Lakeshore 1 bed Lodge for 2 per

JulianaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Immaculate flat (or really half of a cottage) right on Lough Derg and 5 minutes walk from the lovely town of Mountshannon. Very comfortable, lovely views, gorgeous light. Aisling was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend and would love to go back. Highly recommend the Birchwood Sauna parked nearby, the Berrytree Cafe and the Snug pizzeria in town. Note that Keane's pub only takes cash and your nearest ATM is in Scariff. Also, if you want to cook for yourself the nearest sizeable grocery store is in Portumna. Essentials can be bought in the Gala in Mountshannon or in nearby Scariff.
