Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fayette County

it was a pleasure staying at Kelly's listing. she's wonderful to work with and her rental is beautiful. we had a very much needed weekend get-away among friends. lots of hiking, relaxation, and lots of laughs thanks to having such a great place to call home for our weekend adventure. thank you Kelly!

Place was clean and as described. It's set back in a secluded neighborhood down in a gully, but it's only about 5 minutes from WV19 and I had no issues getting to the Gorge, Beckley, etc. Everyone in the neighborhood seemed to mind their own business and it was dead quiet after 8 or 9 p.m. except for the occasional dog barking somewhere off in the distance.

Wow! Alison and Stefan were amazing hosts. Their newly renovation property was a perfect place for us to stay as we visited the area in particular, New River Gorge NP. Town was an easy drive and great local spots for food and to shop. They were very responsive and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others.

Neat and clean. Quiet neighborhood. The ramp was extremely helpful to my aging mother. Location was quick and convenient right off Rt. 19. I would highly recommend this location. Loved the walk in shower - again, helpful to my aging mother. We enjoyed evening meals in the very comfortable dining room. There is a nice fenced in backyard and though we didn't need it, it is very nice with a deck big enough to enjoy. It was nice to sit and unwind to a little TV before turning in. Bedrooms are ample size with comfy beds. If you are in need of lodging in the area - Memaw's Place is all you will need. We are very appreciative of the safe, warm, clean, comfortable stay. We will be rebooking in the future as the need arises.

Kristi’s home was cozy and clean, a perfect stay for our group of 2 adults and 2 children! The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains and bedside lamps were wonderful. We enjoyed the kitchen table for meals and games - the kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate and cook meals in! We loved the large deck for hanging in the evenings. The location was about 15 min away from Ace Adventure and about 15 min away from downtown Fayetteville. It was a peaceful stay and we’d recommend checking out this home!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy. We appreciated the extra cozy blankets provided and extra towels. The location was perfect and we were close to everything that we came up to do! Thank you also for the warm welcome & water & snacks. They really came in handy. Perfect for a visit to New River Gorge NP! Caitlin provided a lot of local recommendations, and all were great!

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting the new river gorge national park. The house was perfect for our family of 3. There are several noticeable upgrades and improvements. The kitchen and bathroom especially have been updated. Having a washer & dryer was also a plus. Christy was very responsive asking if we needed anything and replied quickly to messages. The location is great, within walking distance of the town and only a 5 minute walk from the Secret Sandwich Society. (The food there is great!) The neighborhood is quiet. We would recommend staying here.

Our stay in Oak Hill for a visit to New River Gorge National Park was great! This Airbnb is clearly managed well and it had everything we needed for our stay.

I had a great stay at Around the World! The place was exactly as described and I loved all of the cute decor. The art room is an adorable touch. There is some street noise due to the place being next to a road, but I did not find it that bothersome. The mountain views from the Airbnb were gorgeous and it was a perfect distance from New River Gorge. Overall, my stay was lovely and I would definitely visit again.

This was such a memorable stay! It is just minutes driving distance to the River Gorge Park Visitor center and various trail heads. The home is so cozy - the perfect size! We felt like we really utilized the whole space and had exactly what we needed. They have such a great sense of hospitality and comfort, while also providing a fun and eclectic space. Between the amazing outdoor surroundings of Fayetteville and the house itself, you will leave absolutely refreshed and reinvigorated. Do not miss the local “Sandwich Society” restaurant!

The perfect place to stay when visiting New River Gorge National Park! Ansted is a quaint and peaceful town, and the location is an easy 15-20 minute drive to the park. Main Street Stay had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was very clean upon arrival. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay here again!

What a gem we found! If hiking in the nearby areas, consider this place! 30 min from all the places we were hiking/exploring. We had an amazing stay! The place is new, spacious, and more than expected. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. Large livingroom TV. The beds were super comfy—we slept great. The hot tub/lighing outside and speaker was perfect after long days and definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. We spent many hours out on the porch. The apartment was larger than expected and it felt way more private than I imagined when we first got there. Honestly, it was just such a great stay!! The shower is so nice and having all laundry needs was extreamly great. The home had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy blankets and plenty of towels. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space comfortable and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone exploring the nearby area!

Location! You really cannot beat the location of this place. Walking distance to everywhere in downtown and super close to the National Park. We really just needed a place to rest our heads at night during a busy weekend and this place was perfect for that. I couldn't figure out the heat and Brandie responded so quickly and helped me figure it out which was so helpful! Thanks y'all!

Loved staying with Ryan and Sara, a lovely place close to all the restaurants and shops in Fayetteville and nearby to NRG. Hosts kept a clean and cute space and communicated regularly.

Great location for exploring New River Gorge. All around good spot for 2 people!
