The cabin was beautiful! Small & cozy, perfect for a weekend away. The location was easy to find & check in was seamless. The cabin & hot tub were both extremely clean. Has everything you’d need for a long weekend. The host was friendly & proactive with check in & check out instructions. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and quiet home with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the nature and it felt very private and cozy. Hosts left thoughtful bottle of wine, popcorn and s’mores in the kitchen, which was a very welcoming touch. We enjoyed the hottub and we did manage to get one fire going in the firepit, although we did get a lot of rain!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay just to unwind. This place was inviting the moment you walked into the house. The front room with hanging chairs and lots of windows was one of my favorite rooms! We could sit and listen to the wind blow through the trees, watch the clouds pass by and listen to the peaceful rainfall. The king-size bed was SO comfortable and just outside the bedroom was the hot tub, ready to go! It was perfect for a relaxing get-away! Thanks Wanda!

We loved the property and Shea was extremely easy to connect with. The home and surrounding landscape were very secluded and serene. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels and everything in the home was neat and clean. We took advantage of being able to purchase extra firewood and loved sitting by the camp fire. We really loved it there and hope to return someday! We highly recommend this property and host!

A beautiful home away from home. Everything was extremely clean and functional for our family. I also loved the privacy. We loved the hot tub under the bulb lights, it made for a very relaxing experience even though it rained a lot during our stay. Would absolutely recommend!!

This is a beautiful spot that was perfect for our 2 families who live far apart to get together and enjoy the Ohiopyle area. As other reviewers mentioned, this home is very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen, ample towels and thoughtful extra touches, like toiletries and coffee. The guest cabin over the stream is a highlight of the property!

The best review I can give is to say that this is the third summer our family has stayed at this same property for our annual family retreat (first with one child, and now with two!) and we hope to continue to build family memories here. The creek, the house itself, the trampoline, and the playground are just perfect for sinking into peace and letting the girls play to their hearts' content, and the quick trip into Ligonier is perfect for when we want to get out!

We had a great stay. The house accommodated our 6 adults and 5 grandkids very nicely. There were board games but you should bring your own games for small kids also life jackets for them. Ping pong table and dart board inside the house was nice. We played on the golf course. Very challenging. We utilized the indoor pool at the clubhouse. The canoe was available for usage on the lake for paddling and fishing. The beach was sandy and nice. It was roped off and no fishing around it. Hiking trails were grassy and maintained. The clubhouse had a very nice workout room. There was a nice bar and restaurant at the clubhouse. The bartender was very nice. There was free miniature golf available for those who stayed there. There was a shop n save grocery store 10 min. away. A Walmart superstore was 20 min away. We would come back again.

We came from the other side of the state to celebrate two big family events for the weekend. We needed space to visit with family as well as to prep for an off property grad party - the kitchen had everything we needed & the space to visit with family while we were in the area. Being able to bring out two dogs with us was a huge perk and great last minute decision. The location is quiet, easy to find and the hosts were so kind! The beds were comfortable and had the weather been better it would have been a great place to enjoy the private outdoor space. We hope this location is available for us the next time we visit! had a great stay at the cabin it was very clean and comforting. The fire place was great to sit in front of and watch a movie. its a easy place to find and get into; very quiet and great place to go on a hike just to relax. Thanks Joe

Emily was a wonderful host and WOW… I was planning to fly fish on a handful of the Gold Star rivers/creeks nearby BUT i spent my 3 days (ALL DAY) fly fishing on the heavenly Casselman River stretch adjacent to the property up stream to the Rt 68 bridge. There simply wasn’t any reason to leave the Grantsville enclave around the house. It woulda been nice if Cornucopia had been open but the kitchen and gas grill allowed for steak and eggs in the mornings and I just don’t want to leave. I spend so much time wading that peaceful soothing stretch of the river that I was sore and was a little sluggish on checkout day. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was VERY comfortable and I’ll be returning. YES I caught PLENTY of rainbow trout and a few little Brookies. Hesitant to write that because I’d rather this be a secret haha. 5.00 all the way !! Thanks Emily.

Fantastic weekend getaway for two + our new puppy. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay near Deep Creek with furry friend(s)!

Michael's AirBnB was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends. We had a memorable weekend relaxing on the back porch, sitting around the firepit, cooking a big meal, and playing games inside. The backyard stream was gorgeous and was lovely to enjoy in the morning. Would highly recommend this house to anyone!

What a sweet little cabin! We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor space including the creek. We had an excellent time relaxing on the porch, splashing in the creek, and cooking meals outside. We slept well listening to the creek- one of my all time favorite sounds. Our dog especially loved all the smells and chasing sticks and tennis balls as they floated down the creek!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was immaculate, the property was private and beautiful. The windows are so big and bring in so much light. Ninos restaurant was about 2 minutes away and had delicious food. Highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Jeff is a great host with a gorgeous plot of land. He ensured we had everything we needed, from heated blanket, lint roller, umbrella, a cooler behind the abode, to even bringing us down covered mugs for our soup. He thinks of everything you could possibly need, there is even a heater in the bathroom. Jeff is diligent and friendly, he gave clear and easy instructions, and even provides a closer sawdust bathroom if you don't want to walk all the way up to the main bathroom. There was coffee in the morning which he was kind enough to refill without our asking, and gave us a run down of the pretty trails! The Toad Abode is beautiful, has plenty of power outlets and lanterns to use. Be sure to look out the Abode down the hill in the morning to catch some views of cows on the hill! There are plenty of things to do near the area, like Jeff, we also recommend seeing Falling Water. A great host and a lovely place, we will definitely recommend the Toad Abode to our friends!

Nice, tidy, peaceful place. Perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Only note that parking space for two vehicles is tight, which is really only a concern if all cabins are occupied simultaneously. Recommend bringing only one vehicle. Loved our stay.

The cabin was excellent. After golfing in the rain and wind on Saturday, we needed a nice cozy, comfortable place. The shower was nice and hot. The rooms were very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely will stay here again when we return for this annual golf outing next year.

Great home near Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Kentuck Knob.

Our stay at this lovely home was nothing short of magical. It was spotless, beautifully maintained and felt like a true escape into nature. One of the highlights of our stay was freshly baked cinnamon rolls made by our host! The surrounding farm was an absolute delight. Whether is it was visiting the peacocks and chickens or giving the gentle horse a pet, every moment felt serene and special. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation from WVU and it was an unforgettable experience. We will all cherish it for years to come. Cheers to Elisabeth for making it so special!

Loved staying at Michelle and Tony’s cabin! A great rural getaway with all the amenities of and modern conveniences one could hope for. Spectacular views, quiet/private location. Great yard in which to roam and play. The cabin itself is super-clean, comfy bedding and linens. Plenty of A/C (or windows if you choose). Fast wifi, plentiful hot water (and clean - no sulfur odor is always a plus!), multiple smart tvs if you want. Well-stocked, modern kitchen including filtered ice/water dispenser in fridge - no need to haul jugs from the store. 2-in-1 coffee maker incl coffee and all the fixins. Personal touches abound. Fun stuff outside, incl yard games. These are very thoughtful hosts who are friendly and responsive, they provide a great guidebook which includes lots of recommendations for area eateries. (Definitely recommend a visit to Screech Owl.) Would totally recommend this stay!
