Holiday rentals with a kayak in Fairfield County

We had the most fun and relaxing weekend here, enjoying the pool and hot tub, taking in the gorgeous surroundings, and sharing meals in the comfortable and homey kitchen and dining areas. Char was a wonderful host! She clearly communicated instructions, provided suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, and made us feel welcome in her home. I would highly recommend staying here for a gathering with family/friends!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Ashley’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and welcoming. The views were beautiful and added a special touch to our mornings and evenings. It was incredibly quiet—just the kind of escape we were hoping for—and the home itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Ashley was a gracious host, and her attention to detail really made a difference. It’s clear she puts thought into making sure guests feel right at home. My family genuinely enjoyed every part of our stay, and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, well-kept, and family-friendly getaway!

Good stay. Would rent again. The beds were the worst part of the stay. One bedroom so soft it hurts your back and the other bedroom squeaks every time you move. With that being said. We had a beautiful fire every night, went down to the pond on a cute little path just by our cabin (paddle boats, kayak, fishing), and the pool was refreshing during the day with hot tub time at night. All conveniently located. We came on a family trip to Hike hocking Hills, hit the Columbus Zoo, and even a day trip to lake Logan. Beautiful peaceful trip And location to unplug. The cabin is a little hard to find in the dark but as long as you see the blue barn you drive right up to it. Overall great time and 5*. Price is a little high but the family time makes it worth it.

Betsy was an amazing host. The hunting land was amazing and so was dillon wildlife area surrounding it. Not too far from zaynesville so it was nice to go get food.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Just outside of town so it was quite and peaceful, but close enough to get to all of our family in town. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was wonderful at communicating with us. Would definitely stay there again.

The house is located on a nice, quiet street, centrally located in Westerville. It was easy to get around town from here. The house was great! There was plenty of space for everyone, and it was just as the listing pictures depicted. Everything was nice and clean. We were in town for a family celebration, and we were sorry we didn't have time to relax on the back patio. It was very inviting. Would stay here again!

My mom and I had a wonderful time in Columbus. Leslie and her son Hal were incredibly kind and such amazing hosts — truly thoughtful and welcoming. We would absolutely love to come back again! The house and its location are beautiful and truly something special — a little paradise. We wish them all the very best and look forward to seeing them again sometime. This is a cozy, relaxing home that’s perfect for a family get away. The marina is at the end of the street and the local ice cream shop in walking distance. Everything you need is right there when you walk in the door, as if you’re walking into your own home. Just unpack and relax with your family. A beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend booking this property, the hosts are amazing, very welcoming and responsive.

Ann is a great host, very responsive to any ?’s and even checked in to see how the first night went. Fire pit was perfect and the pond had a couple good sized fish in it that We could see from the edge of the pond even though the water was a bit murky/pond like. Location is Super accessible to all of Hocking Hills trails and sites!

This was such a lucky find! It was easy breezy and we had such a comfortable time. There were plenty of extra blankets, herbs, coffee, and tea. Thank you for being so accommodating. We plan on booking this again and using the kayaks. My two young boys caught so many catfish right off the dock! We needed a quick place to stay and this all worked out so nicely for my family. :)

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The host was quick to respond with any questions we had. Early check in was a plus :) we loved that we were right on the water and they had 2 kayaks and life jackets and we only had to walk across the street to rent more kayaks. We definitely will be back!

Our stay was lovely. The place was close to some cute places like a local coffee shop, bike path, place to fish, and outdoor music. If it wasn’t within walking distance, they had bikes to ride. The house had many amenities like games and outdoor supplies. Everything you would need. Hosts were super responsive. Really enjoyed this ourselves. House was a bit musty but… Otherwise highly recommended.

We had such an incredible stay at Vincent’s AirBnB! We were looking for a stylish yet cozy retreat to celebrate our friend’s bachelorette - and this was the perfect getaway! The rooms were cozy, the decor was incredible, and there were many small touches to the space that made it feel like home. We were most excited about the hot tub, and it did not disappoint. We also utilized the fire pit, and just picked up some fresh fire wood on the way in. We saw lots of local wildlife and the house was in close driving distance to many hikes, lakes, restaurants, and even a petting zoo! The hill to the house is no joke, so make sure you have a trusty car when driving in and out. Vincent was extremely responsive and gave clear instructions for the property. He also keeps it well stocked with anything you would need during your stay. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, and relaxing vacation in south west Ohio.

Great location and very private and secluded. Property was very clean and exactly like the pictures. The heated toilet seats were a nice surprise! Very responsive host - spotty cell service, but great WiFi on the property.

Wehad a great 1st trip here. it was a beautiful little cabin with amazing views. There was so much to do for the kids and it was a great home away from home. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this beautiful log cabin with a group of 16 people (including kids!), and it was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in the wilderness, it truly felt like we had our own private retreat far from the noise of the city. The cabin itself was spacious, well-equipped, and full of cozy touches that made it feel like home. Whether we were gathered around the fire pit at night or swimming in the pond during the day, every moment felt special. One of the highlights of the trip was how close we were to the Hocking Hills State Park (just about 20 minutes away). Lastly, a huge thank you to Katie, who was the perfect host from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything to feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Liz’s cabin exceeded our expectations! The cabin was very clean upon arrival and it was even nicer than in the pictures! The decor was rustic and charming. The screened in porch was so peaceful! We sat out there drinking coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings and we felt like we were alone in nature. The porch and the back fire pit area are both very private. The recommended hikes were great and we enjoyed one of the local breweries to grab pizza and a flight of their brewed beers. We look forward to visiting again!

I fell in love with this place! Everything was very clean, and I loved the outdoors even more. The beautiful view, secluded, and very quiet. My con was the beds were not on frames except the bunk bed, and the couch, loveseat and one of the dining chairs were broken/sunken in which affected my bad back and was not comfortable. Otherwise everything was expected and very beautiful. Thank you so much for allowing me, my girls, and my 13 almost 14 yr old dog to enjoy this home. I brought my girls on a little vacation to celebrate my oldest graduating high school and she had so much fun! Thanks again!
