Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Faial Island

Wonderful spot, authentic house and surroundings, special welcome. We love vibe of the house, space outside, many places to sit around garden and drink coffe or wine, easy grilling space, beautiful views. I think pictures doesn’t do a full justice for these wonderful place.

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Maison très bien située sur l’île, pas loin de Madalena et pas loin de l'aéroport, très peu d'avion donc pas de nuisances sonores. Un beau jardin, vu sur l’océan et sur le volcan Pico. Le point négatif le portail est en panne je pense depuis un certain temps et la voiture est obligée de rester sur la route. Pour un séjour de 10 jours comme nous avons fait il n'y a pas de machine à laver le linge et c'est un peu gênant. Sinon maison confortable.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen! Wohnung ist sehr groß und einfach perfekt. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Direkt neben der Haustür eine sehr schöner, schwarzer Sandstrand der anderen Touristen nicht sonderlich bekannt ist. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt.

We absolutely adored the house and were sad to leave. The views are amazing. And the house is really homey. Big kitchen nice and bright bedroom and big living. It is in the middle of the vineyards, great for beautiful walks. We hope to be back next year!

Fabulous stay in this lovely house. Guiomar is a fabulous host, we were welcomed with baking and cookies which was lovely after a long journey and came back to help out when we had a problem.. Weather usually was better at the house than other places on the island and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves. Flexibility on departure was really appreciated as our flight was delayed 2.5 hours at short notice. Thank you

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement. La vue et l'accès sur la baie, la baignade très sécurisée avec notre enfant, c'était parfait. Faial, notre coup de cœur.

Wir haben uns bei Thomas wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es war ein großartiger Ort mit tollen Spirit.

Amazing view and accommodation had everything you needed. Shared pool and jacuzzi were great. Lovely stay!

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

Wir haben uns an Board von Maresia direkt aehr wohl gefühlt. Sie hat uns überall hin gebracht, wo wir hin wollten, auch wenn sie auf den Cowroads etwas kämpfen musste. Wir hatten eine klare Sternennacht, einen schönen Sonnenaufgang mit Top-Sicht auf Pico, ruhige Abende und schöne Ausflüge. Andresa und Bruno haben uns sehr schön empfangen und hatten eine tolle Überraschung für unsere Flitterwochen vorbereitet. Das war wirklich ein Highlight unserer Reise.

The house was very nice! Especially the kitchen was very equipped and there was everything you would need (even local liquors and figs from the tree in the garden). Sandra is very helpful and did fix minor issues in no time. You can view the ocean from the balcony and the surrounding area is exceptionally beautiful. Sandra also made it possible for us to check out later, which made our return mich easier. Would come back!

Lovely house, you can see sunrise and sunset from the house! it has everything you need, great pizza place at walking distance but also everything available to prepare your own meal.

The house is very well equipped and furnished. The terrace above the sea permits fine breakfasts and lunches..... The house is close to the beach of Faja. The little restaurant/grocery Rumar is very conveniently in the centre of Praia da Norte. Horta is at 30 minutes and airport at 15 minutes by car. A car is necessary. One is very kindly and efficiently welcomed directly at the airport....

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick zum Meer. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der baustil mit den typischen dunklen vulkansteinen. Die küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es ist alles sauber. Jedenfalls empfehlenswert!

We had a great experience. The house has amazing views. Wonderful to be part of Nossa Senhora das Dores celebration. Wonderful community. We fell in love with Pico and Baía de canas in particular and Look forward to being part of the community.

Das Haus von Jose ist wunderschön und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Alle Schlafzimmer sind nett gestaltet. Es gibt viel Platz und einen großen Garten. Recht schnell ist man bei einem Supermarkt oder bei den Pools. Jose ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Host, wir wurden mit leckeren lokalen Köstlichkeiten empfangen und sowohl der Check In wie auch der Check out war flexibel. Danke dafür!

Ana’s place was a good stay for our needs. A few more cooking utensils or basic spices (salt/pepper) would have been helpful, but we overall appreciate the value for money. Communication was quick and resulted it swift resolution of our questions. Thanks!
