It has a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and Mountain of the island of Pico.

About 4 km to the north, from the city of Horta, is Almoxarife Beach. In the "grinding" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It has a traditional moth architecture that dates back to the beginning of the last century. In milling, a philosophy based on tradition and sustainability is practiced. It consists of: apartment, garden, handicraft workshop, farm with animals, vegetables, fruit and seeds of traditional varieties.
