Super nice place with views over the sea and in fine weather the mountain. The host responds well and quickly.

apartment is up a hill, about 25 minute walk from the ferry port, but a taxi is affordable if you have bags. quick 5 minute walk to a Supermarket that has everything. Lovely apartment, huge TV, nice couch, 2 bedrooms on opposite ends of house. bathroom came with everything we needed, great kitchen also. The terrace was huge and nice seating area, you can see the Volcano on a good clear day, and the port in the other direction. You have to be ok not being in the center of town, but if so, this is a great apartment to stay in.

Absolutely amazing place for a couple of days of relaxation. The top balcony is great as you can see the sun set and enjoy the sea view while having dinner. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and even gives you coffee capsules and a water just in case. 5 stars

Came here for 6 days peace and quiet break, beach & bars/restaraunts walkable. (On quiet roads) Near to airport, Mt Pico & Unisco World heritage area. Nice balcony/garden to chill on with great views of Mt Pico & Sao Jorge

Absolutely perfect. The best place to stay in Madalena. Great house and Paula is a super host. Really enjoyed it so much staying here with a view on the sea and Faial, large garden, very quiet and only 10 min walk to the center. The house is also nicely decorated which gives it a great vibe. Internet is extremely fast - like at home - which was very handy processing pictures and videos. Kitchen has all you need. Also in booking and modifying the booking because of corona and cancelled flights Inês was very helpful and flexible. Will be back next year and highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at George's. It's in a wonderful location, steps from beautiful Porto Pim on one side, and central Horta on the other. We loved sitting on the rooftop patio as the sun set spectacularly, with a view of both the beach and the city. Highly recommended! George was very responsive and his manager Filipa was super friendly when we asked if we could drop off our luggage early as we had arrived a few hours before check-in time. We ended up being let in early, which made such a huge difference to our overall experience. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer than we did, obrigado George & Filipa!

A great spot among the vineyards that is five minutes drive to Madalena and ten minutes to the Pico airport. Good A/C in the rooms. Nice sized kitchen. Comfortable beds. And a nice covered patio for being outside. Thank you!

Gina was a lovely host. She was extremely communicative and responded quickly to texts. She was also very understanding when a chair was broken, and was more concerned that I didn’t get hurt than that the chair was broken! The goodies left for us were welcome, and it was nice to have the option, in addition, to buy some drinks in the mini fridge. Gina’s place was spotless and easy to find as the photos helped (Google maps has it further down the hill but keep driving up and you can’t miss it!). The bed was comfy, the view amazing, and the kitchen stocked with basic items. The local Continente was very well stocked for food and other items. Easy to pick up everything you need. Thank you Gina! We loved all the little whale items you had in your cottage, especially as we have learned about the importance of the whaling industry in the past to Azores.

This air bnb exceeded our expectations! The inside and outside areas are pristine and beautiful! Everything looks exactly like the photos, and the home feels even bigger in person. Not only was the stay beautiful, but the owners are truly amazing people that made us feel like family. I had to take an emergency trip to the hospital and the owners offered to help my parents get to me. They even made sure we made it to the ferry okay. I cannot speak highly enough about the home and owners! Do not hesitate to book your stay at Bruma Home!

Compact but very pleasant modern apartment with a good terrace. There are 2 other apartments attached, plus the owners place next door, but it felt very private. Like most places in the Azores they haven't discovered Smart TV yet. The kitchen is minimally outfitted, but functional The walk up to the front door from the street is a bit of a haul if you have lots of luggage or groceries. The shower has no soap, so come prepared. Finally, the living room would be a little tight for more than 2 guests. Property managers were quite helpful in getting us in at the last moment after our flight was canceled. We felt the property was comfortable and well designed - recommended!

Beautiful sea view from the house over to Pico. We liked to be outside town and amongst the local community. There is a convenience shop and a bar close by. We had to walk quite a bit to access other shops so better to have a car as public transport is not very regular. We loved to go swimming in the natural sea water pools about 15/20 minutes walk from the house. And the bed was comfortable!

Andreia was a great host and gave me many useful information for my stay in Pico. The location is a perfect starting point to explore the island.

A beautiful, spacious and cozy house with a stunning view. Looking out to the sea and the islands of the Azores in the morning is something very special. The house offers every comfort and is a wonderful base from which to explore Pico. It is quiet and cozy. We enjoyed every moment - from getting up overlooking the sea to an aperitif and sunset dinner. Ana always responded promptly, even Vaina, who takes care of the house, was always available. The arrival was unproblematic, as was the departure. A beautiful spot on earth! Feel free to come back anytime. Thank you for having us!

We selected this unit because we wanted something close to the mountain, a nice town, and some wineries. This unit served all those needs. The unit was easy to find and access, but does have privacy from the street. There were some convenient street parking spots right in front, plus a whole other street you could park on nearby if you needed it (all free). Everything felt safe and laid back. There is also a supermarket a 10 minute walk away, great for cheaper items. Getting to the town square is a 10 minute walk. The unit was very clean and comfortable. More than spacious for two people. The kitchen has utensils and pots/pans for light duty cooking. The clothes washer worked great and super useful (as well as helping us pack lighter with less clothes). If you take hot showers, give the water tank 15 minutes between showers to replenish. Lastly, Paula was fantastic and very helpful. This was a fantastic place that helped us make great Pico memories, definitely recommend it!
