Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet und auch beheizbar. Es liegt direkt am Meer und war im April etwas klamm, was dem stürmischen Wetter geschuldet war.

Hébergement très stratégique pour ceux qui aiment faire de la randonnée, le sentier #20 passe juste devant. En plus, le logement est situé à 15 min. de marche pour prendre le traversier qui mène à l'île de São Jorge. L'hôte, Andreia, qui habite sur le même terrain, est très disponible pour toutes demandes.

Francesca is an outstanding host. This was by far one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in— tastefully decorated, well laid out and very clean. And the pillows!! So comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Thank you Francesca!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen! Wohnung ist sehr groß und einfach perfekt. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Direkt neben der Haustür eine sehr schöner, schwarzer Sandstrand der anderen Touristen nicht sonderlich bekannt ist. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt.

Ocean views for days...this place has a god-smacking view of the north coast and Sao Jorge. We were 2 couples and this place was perfect. A welcome basket has the essentials to get you through the first 24 hours. There are 2 large, comfortable bedrooms downstairs with walkouts to a patio. Their full 3 piece bathroom is on the main floor. The third, separate bedroom has its own full ensuite bath. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. There are 2 patios facing the fields and sea with an outdoor kitchen area. Pike, Francisco and Vania are always only a text away and are so helpful and very accommodating.

Fabulous stay in this lovely house. Guiomar is a fabulous host, we were welcomed with baking and cookies which was lovely after a long journey and came back to help out when we had a problem.. Weather usually was better at the house than other places on the island and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves. Flexibility on departure was really appreciated as our flight was delayed 2.5 hours at short notice. Thank you

Ein wunderschönes, großzügiges und gemütliches Haus mit einem umwerfenden Blick. Schon in der Früh aufs Meer und die Inseln der Azoren zu blicken, ist etwas ganz besonderes. Das Haus bietet jeden Komfort und ist ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt, Pico zu erkunden. Es ist ruhig und gemütlich. Wir haben jeden Moment genossen - vom Aufstehen mit Blick aufs Meer bis hin zum Aperitiv und Abendessen bei Sonnenuntergang. Ana hat immer prompt reagiert, auch Vaina, die sich um das Haus kümmert, war immer erreichbar. Die Anreise war Unproblematisch, ebenso die Abreise. Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde! Gerne jederzeit wieder. Danke, dass wir hier zu Gast sei durften!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement. La vue et l'accès sur la baie, la baignade très sécurisée avec notre enfant, c'était parfait. Faial, notre coup de cœur.

Une belle escale sur l'ile de Pico. Grand logement fonctionnel, très grand pour deux, mais c'est sympa d'avoir de la place ! Nous reviendrons, c'est sur !

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!

THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Every part is perfect! It’s the only house that we stayed during our holidays that is decorated for Christmas, and you can feel the thoughtfulness from the host. Indeed the house is well maintained and you have everything needed for living here. Many check-in gifts. Amazing view of the sea and the volcano. Taisa is very kind and helpful. I really hope to visit again.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich traumhaft schön und man hat sich direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. 😍 Man ist direkt am Meer. Ohne Mietwagen ist diese Unterkunft jedoch nicht zu empfehlen, da diese knapp 25 Minuten Autofahrt von Madalena und somit von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants entfernt ist. Wer jedoch wie wir, die Ruhe liebt, ist genau richtig. Nachts ist die Ruhe jedoch weniger, da azoreanische Enten auf Nestsuche einen wach halten. 😅 Alles in allem dennoch empfehlenswert. 🙃

João’s Airbnb was meticulously clean, well equipped, with lots of extra touches and exceeded all of our expectations. We could not have chosen a better location to end our three week trip to the Azores. We were greeted by João and he was very welcoming, accessible and easy to communicate with. We were centrally located close to Horta, the ferries and all major attractions on Faial, plus being right on an amazing black sand beach and surrounded by beautiful views. Would highly recommend and look forward to a return trip soon. João was truly a super host!

Very nice house with everything you need for nice vaccation. Extreamly peacefull, but in my opinion it is much better to have car, for visiting restaurants, beach... In general I would highly recommend this house.

Ein Platz, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Blick vom Sofa auf das Meer ist einzigartig und unterschiedliche Farben, Wellen oder sogar vorbeischwimmende Delfine halten dich dort fest. Das Haus hatte alles, was man braucht und trotz wechselndem Wetter haben wir alle Sitzplätze vor und hinter dem Haus genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit Steffi war immer prompt und zielführend. Danke auch, für die Organisation des Mietwagens.

Manuel’s place looked exactly like the pictures, communication was good. We had a washer and dryer which was great after travelling for a week to get laundry done while there. A car is definitely a must at this location. Closet grocery store is in Madalena. Manuel’s place is about 10 minutes from airport.
