Family-friendly holiday rentals in Eyjafjörður

Amazing location with views over snowy mountains from the hot tub. Well stocked kitchen and lots of communal space. would stay again!

Wir waren 2 Tage mit einer 4-köpfigen Familie in diesem wunderschönen Häuschen und haben uns von Anfang an wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es fehlt an nichts, sogar ein Hot Pot ist vorhanden! Die Lage ist einmalig, umgeben von wunderbarer Natur und trotzdem ist der Myvatn und das umliegende Geothermalgebiet schnell erreichbar. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

The place was as described and it was a peaceful neighbourhood. The view from the living room was amazing! I would gladly recommend his place to others.

We loved our stay in the villa! The property was beautiful, with trails leading to fantastic views of water and wildlife. It is also well located in connection with Húsavík. The reception area and the villa itself were under a bit of renovation when we were there, so there were some tiny inconveniences (e.g., not all burners on the stove seemed to ignite and there weren't quite enough dishes and utensils to seat our group of ten people for a meal), but the owners were super responsive to our needs--even to the point of buying a brand new grill for our enjoyment! And there are also very interesting art and book collections in the villa. Of the six places our group has stayed this summer in Iceland, the villa was by far their favorite. We are already planning our next stay!

Anna's place is off the beaten path so it is quiet and calm, on a farm with excellent greenhouses, which we got to tour. Only a 15 minute and very scenic drive into Akureyri with all of its restaurants and swimming pool. Anna was very responsive and her place is clean and very easy to use. The hot tub was wonderful! This is a lovely spot to take a break from driving the Ring Road.

Super convenient place within walking distance to most places in Akureyri. Beds were comfortable. Free local coffee beans a nice touch.

We were going to drive up to the cabin from Reykjavik and were told by many people that it would be a thought drive because of an incoming storm so I messaged the hosts and they were incredibly responsive and helpful making sure we were able to get up to the cabin and enjoy our stay on schedule even contacting the road services for us to make sure we would be ok to drive up

Our first Air BnB thatcame with smiles and handshakes! Helga and her husband are not only great hosts but great people as well. The communication back and forth was quick and easy. Any question we we got an answer instantly... and follow her directions not google! The farm is on one of the most beautiful pieces of land with the most outstanding views, yet a very short to town, grocery store, etc. The space had everything we needed, including a very spacious shower with hot water for days! The bed was very comfy but our favorite room was the living area with all the awesome views. My husband and I now have a joke that Helga turned on the Northern Lights for us... after 8 nights in Iceland with no lights we were able to experience this phenomenon right out the front door. Thanks Helga! Don’t hesitate to book when staying in Akureyri, we hope to be back again one day!

This was our favorite stop. It was cozy and cute! We were starving when we got there and had dinner at the restaurant there….so good! Played in the town and was close enough to venture off for the day. Washer and dryer were a huge plus! Loved it.

We had a great 1-night stay here! Host was welcoming and friendly, place was very clean and private, and the surroundings were beautiful. The ability to go see the horses up close was a very nice touch! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great apartment with everything we needed. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen so we could cook our own meal. A great shower as well. Our host was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment

Cozy little basement apartment but with larger windows than expected. Not very far from their downtown area. Host was very friendly and kind.

Petur’s place is right in the main district with walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Weather wasn’t good but we were comfy inside this place. It’s nice 👍 place to stay.

We loved our time here. The apartment is scrupulously clean and very charming. The owners are kind and responsive. We arrived in the spring to many new born lambs. We also fell in love with their dog. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect stop on our travels through Iceland. My kids loved the sheep, the stream and the grass to run in. The house was clean and included all amenities. Our group of 9 was comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was 1 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a half bath upstairs with the kitchen and two bedrooms. The washer and dryer were very helpful considering that this stop was a week into our trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Wir haben uns hier sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles was wir benötigten war vorhanden. Auch haben wir sehr gut geschlafen, da die Schlafräume relativ dunkel waren. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei, der Check in hat reibungslos funktioniert. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, hier würden wir wieder buchen.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön. Die Aussicht, die Umgebung, die Einrichtung. Unser Aufenthalt hier hätte besser nicht sein können.
