Cottage holiday rentals in Europe

We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

What a paradise. The best place to recharge your batteries. It was easy to connect with the host. Always quick answers. Can only say - come here if you have the opportunity

Had the most relaxing time at the Banchory Farm. The cottage is absolutely stunning the surrounding is peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Pietro and Pina, felt like a paradise. We were welcomed with amazing food and wine, became friends with all the pets, and enjoyed the house with great views a lot. Thank you!

Lovely quirky cottage with plenty of space. Nice toiletries and welcome touches for both humans and dogs alike! Great walking for dogs direct from the door, just bring long lines if you are concerned about your dogs with sheep or deer as they are all around. One thing to note is that whilst one side of the garden is fenced the other isn’t, there is a low wall, a little jump down and you’re onto the wild hillside! Fine if you have very obedient dogs that don’t wander or hunt, not secure if you don’t.

We absolutely loved our stay – the amenities were top-notch and the decoration throughout the space was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. Kate was incredibly responsive to any messages and went above and beyond with lots of lovely personal touches that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend booking the wellness concierge experience – it added such a special, relaxing element to our trip. Also, don’t miss a visit to The Pig at Harlyn Bay – the food and atmosphere were amazing. Would definitely stay again – thank you, Kate!

We were incredibly comfortable from the first moment. The location is totally idyllic and just perfect to unwind. The view of the water, especially in the morning, but actually all day long, was always beautiful. Perfect for switching off and taking a deep breath. The little boat trip was a real highlight, just like the whirlpool and the sauna, especially in the rainy weather. Almost like a little spa wellness day. The winter garden was also totally cozy. We played a lot there and just relaxed. Everything is lovingly designed, well thought out and very well maintained. Fredrik and Patrik are great hosts, they always responded quickly, were super helpful and warm. We felt completely in good hands and will definitely be happy to come back. Absolutely amazing! Even better than the pictures. We were very lucky with the weather so the views were stunning. The house itself was lovely and had everything you need. Bed very comfy. Great beaches and walking nearby. Would definitely stay again!

We had high expectations from poring over photos and reviews of Banc-yr-Eithin prior to our stay and it somehow managed to exceed them. The cottage and grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and the facilities are incredible, you want for nothing during your stay here. Highlights include watching the birds at the feeders, the treehouse, the underfloor heating in the bathroom, the sauna, the games room in the barn, waking to the sound of birdsong, I could go on! Sussanah and Hugh are the perfect hosts, they were incredibly helpful both prior to and during our stay. We were staying with a relative with health issues and limited mobility and they were extremely helpful in ensuring that he was comfortably accommodated. They dealt with this issue with compassion, discretion and kindness. We were incredibly grateful to get to sample Hugh's cinnamon buns and they did not disappoint! They were delicious and much appreciated. Thank you for an incredible stay, we can't wait to return soon!

Beautiful place! We had the most amazing few days. The house is on 2 floors, beautiful clean bedroom on the ground floor with a fantastic on suite, large shower and bath. You can bathe with a view. Upstairs is a well equipped kitchen with plenty of equipment, a cafetière for coffee whilst sitting on the comfy sofa which looks out across the countryside and you can see the sea. Tranquil place, fantastic for relaxing and exploring.

Tigh Darach is a beautiful home in a glorious location. A stunning wood-frame construction built with a wonderful eye for design, light and space. Everything was good quality, eco and in the best possible taste. Not only aesthetic but also extremely comfortable! A lovely family home that they are happy to share with us via Airbnb. We really enjoyed our stay. The kabin was spacious, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking easy. It was great to havethe basic items such as soap, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and so on. The view was wonderful especially when a bright, uplifting rainbow appeared. We saw deer too which with the binoculars were clear to see. The beds were comfortable and the bedding spotless. Thank you Sonia and the team, it was everything that we hoped for. And a special thank you to Liz for giving us such a warm welcome.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Ardormie farm cottage. The views are amazing and the cottage itself is lovely. Everything was perfect and comfortable. we really enjoyed being surrounded by sheep and on occasion wild red dear and birds of prey. the bed was very comfortable and the whole house was quiet and peacefull. would happily recommend Ardormie and would gladly stay here again.

Very beautiful place to stay! The kitchen gave us inspiration for our own home and the bathroom was lovely. All around a very pretty home. Annie was very responsive and gave us some helpful suggestions on what to do during our stay. Also, if you like cows you may get to see a large herd of them right behind the rental! There’s a large sloped field that rises up behind the house and we enjoyed watching the cows come and go during our stay.

We had a great stay, Mark was friendly and we enjoyed the goodies made by Kate. We also enjoyed the pigs, ducks, and chickens on the property. The accommodation is as pictured and is clean. The location was ideal as we were able to walk to the pubs in Aberlour (40min), drive to some seaside towns, and stop off in the Caringorms on our was back home.

It’s difficult to say just a few words! Here’s the list: It’s a privilege to stay in this unique place, built with care for guests AND for the earth! A warm welcome, easy to find. The view is outstanding Great wee kitchen, bathroom, sitting room. The shower is lovely. A welcome blackcurrant cake slice! Lots of food basics provided. Private and warm and quiet - except for the birds singing Walk to the Pub in 20 minutes- it IS hilly - but good food and beer Really nice Wild swimming in the harbour at the pub. Nicola provides 3 big towels to cosy into afterwards! Only 35 minutes to Lochalsh, about 50 to Glen Elg wee ferry, 35 to Broadford. If you are older, the access is steep for cases etc. Take your time, and it’s fine! If we come back to Skye, we WILL come back to Nicola❤️

We had a wonderful weekend in this special cottage, which is nestled in a small rose garden. It is very stylishly decorated. Both inside and outside, there are many beautiful corners with cozy seating. Thank you for the great time!

The accommodation was fantastic and beautifully furnished. Everything you need was within walking distance. The place was very clean and we immediately felt comfortable. Highly recommended:)

We had a great time in Carlos' place. very well located in the little village Nijar. From there you are quickly everywhere. The place itself is very cute. nice terrace ( although too hot for us). Carlos is a great host and responds super fast. We had a small hickup with the aircon, which was fixed weithin minutes.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. The interior deco matched the exterior terrace cottage. Very comfortable indeed. The cottage patio was a delight for morning coffee. The garden walk to see the chickens each morning was awesome. An outdoor fireplace with el fresco dining was brilliant. I highly recommend the cottage. Catherine is an amazing host.

We loved staying at Triona's cottage. We spent so much time outside, exploring the surroundings. It was great for kids, both our 12 year old and 4 year old were so impressed with it. It was unusually warm when we were here and Triona brought a fan down which made it even more comfortable inside. Definitely recommend, I would love to come back!

We spent a wonderful 10 days in the cottage as a family. What a lovely and beautiful cottage. Not super big, but enough space for outdoor living, because you can do that fantastically well there. A wonderful swimming pool, outdoor shower (lovely in the early morning between the bird sounds showering) beds, hammock, chairs, cozy speakers outside for a background music, you name it. An excellent base for various cities, villages and beaches. Beautiful environment (due to a lot of sun, but dry). The only downside is the barking dogs in the neighborhood. They can't do anything, but you can hear them going off quite a bit from time to time. But good for the cottage and the area, you really don't have to leave it there. In the morning, you will be awakened by the singing birds, the peacocks nearby and occasionally the donkey further on. Wonderful sounds! Highly recommended for a short, but also for a longer period!
