A great house in a beautiful location! You can't get any closer to the sea, and the sound of the sea accompanies you day and night. The house is very tastefully decorated and super clean. You make yourself at home straight away! Constantino is very helpful and has great tips. Without him, we would never have found the little beach in Seixal... We were here 14 days and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Constantino!

The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was well prepared for our arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the whole place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet close to local shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space (great for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening). The host was extremely friendly and responsive, always ready to help or answer any questions. You can really tell they care about their guests and put a lot of thought into making the stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area

Our stay at the Larimar house was great! Laura was an excellent host and very responsive. Our checkin, stay, and checkout were smooth and easy. The house is in a great location right beside the ocean with a beautiful walk along the ocean possible right outside the door. The location was very central and made it easy to drive to all the hikes we went on. Would highly recommend staying here during your time in Madeira!

Top location on one of the best beaches on the island. The house is part of a very traditional ensemble with very nice local neighbors. A street passing by the house is very quiet in the evening. Even during the day, the traffic is very manageable (beach visitors). Every morning a baker stopped at the door, occasionally a fruit vendor and a fishmonger. The location for hiking is great, because you can quickly get to the expressway to the east or west and also to the north. We were there over Pentecost. You can swim well. Tip..Book whale watching in Chalheta. H2O is at the very end of the harbor. They work with spotters on the coast and pilot the ships. The house is well equipped. There's even a blender for fruit smoothies. Oh yes. On the beach in front of the house there is a great sunset show every day, depending on the weather. Sandra also helped very quickly with problems (my suitcase did not come with the plane).

The view... Stunning! We more than enjoyed the time at Tatiana and her mother Ana's accommodation. Ana took care of us and looked after us...and she is an angel!!! The house is very large and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, we did not use the outdoor kitchen, but it is certainly great if you like to grill. We had the three bedrooms with sea views, but actually only for sleeping. On the upper floor, we were only once to play billiards. Actually, we only spent time in the large kitchen and in the outdoor area around the pool. As mentioned, the view is fantastic, the view of the Atlantic, amazing!For our car, we had our own wide garage, directly under the accommodation, with direct access to the house. The entrance may be a little narrow, but we had no problems with our SUV. Ana lives directly below and is always helpful! Madeira, rental car, this accommodation, 5 stars+

We had a great week! Location is incredible looking out over the ocean. We loved the outdoor space and the big kitchen/living room area. Communication with Kevin was easy. We'd definitely come back!

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

This place is awesome! Elvio is the best host. Clear instructions and directions (it’s a tricky place to find) but his instructions were perfect. The pool is private and a good home base after lots of hiking. We recommend hiking as early as possible and going back to enjoy the pool later. The restaurant up the mountain from the house is amazing (Calheta Green). And a recommendation from the host. Love this place!

We had a lovely stay in Madeira at this property. Lovely facilities throughout the place, with the pizza oven, jacuzzi and the hammock (our favourite) all very nice additions to the property which were thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. We opted not to heat the pool but the temperature was fine to swim in anyway! In terms of location the area is very peaceful and scenic however at the cost of activities often being a slightly further drive. We did not find this to be an issue throughout our stay however! Definitely recommend renting a car if staying here!

We felt very comfortable with Patricia, her dad Carlos was always there for us and super likeable. We were also able to contact Patricia at any time. The location of the accommodation was perfect for exploring the city and for excursions, the view is breathtaking. We had a great time in the Airbnb. The view of the sea is great. The kitchen is very well equipped. Only the range of the WLAN could be improved, as it does not reach the upper floor.

We spent 10 nights in the wonderful little cottage. It has everything you need for a stress-free holiday in Madeira. Communication with Rune was easy and fast. The view from the terrace is priceless, the garden really beautiful. In the bar upstairs on the street we had a fantastic Poncha every day after our tours. Pizza up in the village is also good. Otherwise, a good starting point for almost all corners of the island.

Very well decorated accommodation corresponding to the photos. The hosts are extremely responsive and caring. If you have a comment, you can be sure that they will do their best to resolve it. Small downside on the kennel which is certainly on the other side of the valley because the dogs bark. But this remains occasional, about 3-4 times a day for 10 minutes, it is not continuous (at feeding time?). There are also a lot of bugs that come every day (centipedes and we had a few cockroaches). The apartment was however very clean when we arrived. I think they get in because there is a gap between the doors and the floor. A seal might help. But it's easy to put outside with a squeegee and it's the countryside, so it's understandable. Apart from these minor issues, we loved our accommodation and recommend it, hence the 5 stars!

Fantastic holiday home, it was spotless and the facilities were perfect.

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

This place is very nice! It has a beautiful view, on a quiet street with a lots of privacy. Inside was bigger than we expected and very cosy. It has everything you need and we really felt at home and relaxed. There is a steep but short walk directly to the center, with some good restaurants and a grocery store. Zeza is very responsive, enthusiastic and friendly. If we go back to Madeira, we will come back!

Paul do Mar is a dreamy fishing village. The sea is right in front of the village and you can hear the waves inside and it is then pretty much the only sound you hear from outside the apartment. The apartment is on three levels, upstairs laundry and sheltered terrace. On the middle floor, there is a bedroom and a bathroom. Downstairs, there is an entrance hall, a living room and a kitchen. The apartment is really neat and there is everything you need even for a longer stay, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. I worked and the Wifi worked great. I also went swimming and snorkeling every day. A few very nice and varied hiking trails leave the village - be prepared for a steep climb (and descent) There are a few average restaurants in the village and larger shopping trips should be made at the nearest Continent (20 min by car. A bread truck with a fantastic selection of pastries passes by the nearby restaurant every day :) This apartment is one of the best I've ever stayed in 5/5
