This place is beautiful and peaceful. It is about an hour drive from Funchal, but there are lots of little towns all along the way. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great week! Location is incredible looking out over the ocean. We loved the outdoor space and the big kitchen/living room area. Communication with Kevin was easy. We'd definitely come back!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

We really had a great week in this house and are just happy with our choice. You come in and feel right at home, almost like a second home, only on vacation. Everything is super clean and the decor is not only cozy, but also practical. The kitchen is well equipped – we enjoyed cooking. Thank you Nelia for the nice welcome and fresh fruit! We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, modern Airbnb! The apartment is brand new and stylishly furnished, with everything you could possibly need—especially the fully equipped kitchen, which was a dream to cook in. The highlight was definitely the private whirlpool—perfect for relaxing after a long hiking day. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Charlene, who allowed us an early check-in and made sure we felt right at home. Both Charlene and the host, Jose, were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place is also extremely baby-friendly, with a lovely play corner and even a few thoughtful gifts for our 7-month-old baby. We truly appreciated the sweet welcome gifts for us as well.

Lovely few days at Yasmin’s House. Very quiet with amazing views. Very steep and windy road up to the villa.

The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. We really felt at home there. Highly recommend the terrace for breakfasts or dinners. The house is in a quiet area, which we enjoyed.

We stayed 13 nights at Fatima's. We've never had a place so clean! The accommodation is damp but Fatima makes sure that we are as comfortable as possible (spare sheets, towels in large quantities, etc.). The apartment is very well equipped, we did not lack anything. The views are splendid! Fatima and her family know how to welcome us, they are very kind and very responsive to our requests. The only negative point, but which is minimal compared to all the potential of the accommodation, is the sound insulation. The ceiling is only a floor and we can hear Fatima and her family walking if we stay in the apartment all day. The noise never woke us up or prevented us from falling asleep. We highly recommend this accommodation and now know where to stay if we have the opportunity to visit the beautiful island of Madeira again.

A beautiful apartment, but please be aware it is on a VERY steep hill. You can walk down to the town but even a relatively fit person would probably need to get a taxi back up. Taxi is around €7. Beautiful pool that is shared with apartment on the ground floor. Welcome pack was a nice surprise! Everything is as described in the listing. Cristina is a very responsive host. Roberto picked us up and dropped us back to the airport. Thank you! Madeira is beautiful. We will be back

Wow, that's a nice apartment! I recommend booking immediately if it's still available. The location is perfect; views from the balcony, dining room, and bedroom are outstanding. You'll find everything needed in the apartment. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. It's for sure one of the best apartments on Airbnb! 100 %!

We had a great stay at Germano's. It's his parents who manage the accommodation, and they were very attentive to make sure our stay went perfectly! Thank you again. The accommodation is impeccable, spacious, perfectly equipped. The view is superb and the pool a real plus! There are plenty of good restaurants around, we enjoyed the quiet and the very peaceful side of Jardim do Mar with nice walks. We found it hard to leave! A gem of an address if you are looking for a unique place in Madeira for your holidays!

The accommodation offers a parking space, breathtaking views and in the kitchen you can find everything you need for cooking. Also very clean - so everything is great and you get what the pictures promise

Impeccable accommodation, great terrace, it's really a + Barbecue available, very nice! Small downside on the bedding and on the musty smell present in the house. Warning, parking at the top of a very steep slope, difficult to access from the road...

Wonderful apartment right on the ocean. The apartment was very spacious and has everything you need. Also has easy parking just outside. An extra bonus is all the great restaurants nearby!

This was the best air BnB I've stayed in, the apartment and view from the balcony were beautiful, and the location was perfect with it being only a ten minute drive from city center. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island. Nice little accommodation with everything you need, good amenities and Carla was very friendly and helpful with questions and if we needed anything. The windows were a bit cumbersome to operate but you can do that with a little practice. We would come back.

Really well looked after apartment, in great location, would highly recommend.
