A beautiful guest room with views of fields and mountains. The room opens out on to a balcony. There is a double bed but a single and a travel cot can be added if needed for children. There is plenty to see on a country walk around us, calves, hens, and a horse and a garden full of fun with pet rabbits, a trampoline, sandpit, slide and swings. Set in a tranquil country area, 10 -20 minutes from the local towns of Rathdowney, Durrow, Abbeyleix and Portlaoise. Please note the water supply in the cottage is from a 200 year old hand dug stone well & sometimes can be very strong in minerals as we are in a rural region with a lot of limestone deposits in the area
