Best location in Weimar, great apartment, very nice, caring hosts

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

Our stay in the cottage was wonderfully relaxing. We were particularly impressed by the wonderful location, the tranquility, the large, completely fenced garden and the wonderful view from the terrace. Upon arrival, we felt completely comfortable and welcome. The accommodation is the perfect starting point to explore the beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean and very comfortable. Laura and Tom were always available, very helpful and gave us great recommendations for excursions in the area. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the next stay!

We used the cottage with two families (2 children and 2 adults each). The sleeping situation was really ideal as we had two large bedrooms and the entire attic. This allowed everyone to sleep in different lengths. The entrance area was really great, so you want to go home, 8 people can kick off shoes and jackets at the same time. The kitchen equipment was really very good. A second bathroom, at least when using 8 people, would certainly be the icing on the cake.

Perfect stay! I had a great time at this place! The apartment was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and equipped with everything you might need. The location was ideal – quiet, yet central, so you can get anywhere quickly. I would particularly like to highlight the hosts: super friendly, helpful and always available for questions. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't miss anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

If you want to switch off from city life, this is just the thing. Cozy, clean and well-equipped cottage in the middle of nature. The morning coffee on the terrace to forest sounds is already the perfect start. Those who like to wander through the woods can start some hiking trails directly from there. And on cooler evenings, the fireplace is excellent. And the best part...my big furry friend was warmly welcomed there and felt just as comfortable. I won't be the last time I've been there :) Thanks!

I had an amazing time here! I arrived at night, to a sky full of stars and nightingales singing in the trees across the street. The house was really well furnished and decorated, everything super comfortable and all very new. The skylights in the bedroom were great. The only surprises were good ones! It was a really quick drive into Erfurt and also pretty close to Weimar. A really wonderful place. I hope to return!

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

Lovely place! We had a great time. Isa and her husband were great hosts.

The place was very nice. Beautifully furnished, clean and everything corresponded to the pictures. Great terrace and chill lounge with grill. The only downside: upon arrival (in April) all radiators were off. On the first day, the apartment was only 17 degrees. The next day, however, it was nice and warm. We would go again.

Isa is super nice and hospitable. Communication worked smoothly and we felt very much at home. Feel free to come back!

We had a wonderful week in the cottage. Mario and Silke are very nice people and always helpful. The house is very cozily furnished, nothing is missing and there are lovingly made details everywhere. The sunsets on the veranda were a dream. Our kids had a lot of fun in the great pool. There is so much to do with and without children in the area that we only managed a fraction. Very good was the fairy world and the fairy cave in Saalburg and the climbing forest and the summer toboggan run in Saale.

Host was very friendly and received us very politely. The apartment is very centrally located to an S-Bahn (suburban train) station, a REWE supermarket and a bakery. You have everything you need. If you should go to the city, the S-Bahn is well connected and there within 7-8 minutes. We'll be happy to come back.

The apartment in this beautiful area of Thuringia is very quiet, spacious and lovingly furnished, and perfectly equipped with everything you need. The landlord is very friendly and always quick to reach. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Very nicely furnished accommodation and excellent cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, the apartment had everything that was needed. Unfortunately, the parking situation in the street was not good, but the hostess can do nothing about that. The city center can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. In front of the house were garbage cans, which stank a lot, so the ventilation in the apartment (ground floor) was not so great, in addition, the other tenants smoked in the hallway, fortunately nothing of it was noticeable in the apartment. We would book again without hesitation.

It was all good! Unfortunately, we were only passing through to fully enjoy it.

We felt very comfortable. The apartment is very high quality furnished and very very comfortable. There were four of us (two adults, two children) and it was perfectly sufficient. The fact that the apartment is located in the middle of the industrial park was totally ok for us, as we were constantly on the go by car anyway and could do without the city. The nearest supermarket was just around the corner. Thanks for a great stay!

The place is nice and tidy, the supermarkets are easily accessible by walk and by car. Parking is a bit problem, however manageable. The only problem I faced was with one of the neighbors living in the building. Despite it was 09:30pm, he came and started misbehaving. We managed that as well since we are law abiding and know our rights in Germany.

4 nights in a cozy student dorm. Konstatin came to let us in because we were there way too early. Thank you again for that! Very centrally located. We could reach everything on foot. There was everything you needed. And animals are very welcome. If Weimar is on the plan again, then we know where we will knock
