Chalet holiday rentals in English Channel

The accommodation is very clean, very functional, the location is very quiet. Aime Marie is a very welcoming person. We recommend this very friendly accommodation without hesitation.

We had a very pleasant stay in a relaxing environment in the middle of nature with the sea right next door. Lots of beautiful walks on the beach directly accessible from the accommodation by a path with our dog. A very nice discovery of the region and great hosts.

Our second visit to this super property. Spotlessly clean throughout with everything you could need for your time away. The weather was great whilst we were staying so we were able to make good use of the decking overlooking Swanage Bay. Judith was very quick to respond when we had a question and she also recommended plenty of places for us to visit. Milk tea coffee and Dorset biscuits were left for us when we arrived which was a welcome treat when we arrived. Many thanks Judith and we will look forward to returning again next year.

A perfect setting to clear my brain of all the clutter that builds up over time. Peace & quiet to read & read & then read some more. Will be booking to go back again later in the year. Kim is the best host.

Fiona is a friendly and very helpful host. She greeted us at the Red Jet and each day offered to drive us to the Cowes Classic event we were attending at the RLYC. Her chalet is well cared for and it is perfect for two people. She made delicious scones and provided us with the breakfast essentials, which was much appreciated after a long journey. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We recommend Fiona’s chalet!

We spent 2 nights at Stéphanie's with my daughter. I chose this accommodation especially for the jacuzzi, and the proximity to the coast, while having peace and quiet for the nights. Our stay was perfect. Very clean, quiet accommodation, and in the evening we enjoyed the jacuzzi with the countryside as a backdrop, and the birds singing. The welcome by Stéphane, who was very smiling (who carried our suitcases to the inside), as well as Stephanie during our departure. I hope to be able to go back.

A real little piece of heaven! We had a good stay, peaceful with the sound of the waves, ☺️ the view is magnificent! The accommodation is functional, clean Véronique is super nice 😉 We'll be happy to go back!

The vacation is over and it was just great. The chalet is a dream, the location is very nice and quiet, just to feel good. We were lovingly greeted by Valerie and introduced to the chalet. We exchanged numbers, and Valerie asked how we were doing. The facility was designed with a lot of love and style. So that we felt comfortable right away. Everything was available in the kitchen and we could shop at the markets in the area and cook for ourselves. We also visited the restaurants, very tasty. Our terrace was used after our excursions by bike, on foot or by car to have an aperitif and discuss what we had experienced. From here you have a wonderful view of the village and even over to Normandy. In the evening, cozy on a great sofa. The bedroom on the lower floor is very quiet, mattress very good, plenty of storage space. We would come back. Best wishes, Uschi and Hansjörg A big "THANK YOU"

Great place to stay with a large group and within walking distance of Canterbury town centre where there is plenty of places to shop, eat and drink. Slightly disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t available, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Would definitely stay there again.

Olya was very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. The house and garden is beautiful, very peaceful and an amazing layout for a group stay :) We were given a lot of local recommendations and I will definitely return

Great place Fabulous location Easy to use appliances. Two things that were annoying Coffee machine was not cleaned did message steve and a lot of spider webs on the outside f the property Only 2 downsides. Would definitely go back

The chalet is really a comfortable Airbnb, everything has been thought of to make us feel good, everything necessary is present (sponge, tea towels, spices, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer) and it's really a very big plus! nothing is missing! Small but cozy and very pleasant exterior!

Great stay in Saint Jean le Thomas The place was perfect for those 2 days

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

Our stay at The Dorset Resort Chalet (called Sand Banks) was exceptionally good. Had most enjoyable comfortable stay. Chalet had just about everything you could need or wish for. Stayed July 2024. Beds super comfy. Best AirB&B’s we’ve stayed in – exceptionally comfortable, roomy, clean and just perfect. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Chalet as a great place to stay. We travelled to The Boat on the Bay Kimmeridge & had fresh lobster and scampi with salad and the best chips ever…! Fresh Crab and other fish available. This really is worth a visit as food incredible & prepared in professional food van served outside on picnic benches – all very comfortable. The Dorset Resort Chalet complex is connected to The Dorset Golf Resort and because of that, we had use of the Golf Bar, Club and Dining room for drinks, breakfast, sandwiches & Dinner. Our particular chalet also had a Sauna and 3 bathrooms. Top spec highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay, the chalet is very pleasant, the downside is karting nearby (acceptable noise) . For the rest it's perfect for families or friends ( activities , shops and beach nearby ) We'll be there again😉.

The experience of the wooden house in the middle of the marsh is to be recommended to all those who love the connection with nature. A place where you can feel good.

Board game night with family, by the fireplace, in a charming cottage with neat decoration, very comfortable and perfectly equipped. Beautiful walks nearby. Thank you so much for your hospitality, availability and responsiveness. Special mention for the bedding, fireplace, toys and super well-equipped kitchen! We didn't lacked anything and were hosted very well.

Stuart is a very pleasant and available host. He welcomed us and was responsive throughout the stay. The place is very beautiful with a beautiful nature space throughout the estate which was accessible. There are also animals (ducks, goats). We're thinking about coming back in summer. The chalet was just lovely, and very lush!

We had an enchanting stay! The place is peaceful and what a joy to enjoy the Nordic bath, the terrace and the living room with views of the pond and the animals (squirrel, frogs, geese, birds, duck and their young). Everything was true to the description and photos and the check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. We highly recommend this place.
