Amazing stay from start to finish. Checking in was easy and shown right to the pod and shown where everything was, got told about the great things to do around the area. 100% recommend and will defo be coming back Thanks again!

Our family of 3 loved staying in the houseboat. It was a great hideaway in the middle of the city. The boat was even larger than we expected and very comfortable.

Lovely stay at Haven Pod +. Very peaceful, clean and friendly staff on hand. We stayed Friday - Monday. Our son loved seeing the fish in the water. Beautiful beaches just a short drive away. We will definitely be returning as the weekend was chilled and stress free. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

After a pint of local beer on one of the earliest pubs in London, walk yourself to a the pier and board a XIX century clipper full of history and old boats and let yourself go in a night sleep, dreaming of the adventures you might get on a ship like this in a a past maybe not too long ago...the ultimate Thames experience!

The Velvet Morning was a slice of heaven. Sam was an incredible host. Had a great last night of my trip to London here! First, Sam was very flexible with me and allowed me to drop my luggage off early (which was very helpful). I loved meeting her & truly believe she’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met. The boat was amazing - so much character, so charming, and super cozy. During the day, I read a book & journaled on the roof, fed the ducks quartered grapes (which they really enjoyed), ate caviar & oysters at the Summerhouse while watching newborn ducklings in their nest peeking out from under the restaurant (showing the post card of the boat got me a discount), and exploring various walking paths nearby. At night, it was sprinkling & the sound of the rain on the roof was so peaceful - I fell asleep like a baby. Would highly recommend this unique stay & definitely plan on coming back next time I visit! Thank you, Sam!

We had a lovely stay. Convenient spot in easy walking distance of the city centre. And the kids had great fun sleeping on a boat!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay on Water Lodge. A fabulous base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We all slept amazingly well and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay for a family of four. Thank you Yarmouth Harbour!

Quick One – Fantastic. Loved it. Would book again (Weather could not have been better) Longer Version (perhaps for those, like us, whom have not stayed in a Shepherds Hut/this area before) - I found and booked this as was looking for a bit of a break, in isolation, with some nice country around it and a few walks (hopefully to a pub). Jackpot – this was EXACTLY that, and more. The hut is a lovely place to stay. Great location, fantastic places to eat and drink, (some of which are within a relatively easy walking distance (20-40 mins, depending on which way you go)) Hut is not that small. The bed is fantastic – big and comfortable. (My favourite part of the day was waking up early and watching the low morning sun on the fields, sheep, trees and hills beyond, through various windows, from bed…. and I am not usually an early morning person, but this was special). There is quite a lot of attention to detail. It is very well done. Loved the unusual BBQ (want one) and firepit. Thanks E&J

We loved our beautiful unique stay on Trevor’s canal boat. He was friendly, helpful, and provided great info when we arrived. The boat was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The private garden was stunning and well cared for with a hot tub and fire pit to make the evenings extra special. The photos really don’t do it justice - it’s even more beautiful and peaceful in person. Great location with a lovely walk along the canal into town. Highly recommend!

A Truly Unique Stay!
We had an unforgettable time staying on this canal boat in Zone 1! The location was absolutely perfect – right in the heart of London, with everything we wanted to see just a short walk or tube ride away. We were close to all the iconic spots, plus heaps of cafes, restaurants, and shops. The boat itself was spectacular. It had so much charm and character, and was super cosy. Everything we needed was right there – from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy bedding. Waking up to the views on the canal was such a special touch – so peaceful and relaxing, yet we were in the middle of the action. Martin, the host, was brilliant – super friendly and gave us plenty of helpful tips for the local area. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in London. Highly recommend if you're looking for something a little different and a lot of fun!

Loved our stay on the boat. It was so fun trying it out and Hannah was extremely easy to communicate with. The boat itself had everything we needed and was super clean. We would 100% recommend staying here.

If you’re looking for a unique getaway with a welcoming host and a gorgeous setting, this is the place for you! From the moment we arrived, Linda, the host, greeted us with a smile and the wonderful surprise of a freshly baked loaf of bread, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. In fact, thoughtful is the watchword here, the houseboat was stocked with everything you could possibly need, the fridge was fully stocked with essentials like milk, butter, jams, infused water, and Linda even had a selection of ice creams for us. The property itself is in a peaceful location, but still close to so many places, for example Hampton Court Palace is within walking distance. It was spotless and wonderfully maintained, the bed was huge and the attention to detail exceptional, even leaving duck feed for us to feed the ducks and Swans that swam up to our door. We didn’t use the Sauna but I highly recommend the Swedish Hot Tub, it made what was already a relaxing experience

Wow, what an incredible experience! The hot tub was great, and the welcome champagne was such a nice touch. I’d definitely stay here again. I even got a flat tire the night before, and the property owner kindly pumped it up for me in the morning — absolutely amazing!”

My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights on Scorpio and really didn’t want to leave. This was such a magical place to explore London from. The boat was so comfortable and well equipped with everything we could need. Chris was the best host! Met us on arrival and answered any boat and neighborhood questions and he checked in mid week to top up the water tank and service the (very easy and convenient) on board toilet. We also appreciated the “on shore” flush toilet just steps away from the boat. We loved having breakfast on the boat and feeding the ducks before setting off on museum visits and exploring. I’m so glad I booked the Scorpio for our London adventure.

I've just returned from a 2-night stay on the Ark with a small group of friends and family. On arriving, I met Kerrie, who had just been to do a final check of the boat. She was lovely and made me feel very welcome. The boat is just beautiful and in a gorgeous, peaceful setting. Everything was as described. The boat was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed I slept in was so comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. The hot tub is well worth going in. Very clean and with a great view of the river when inside it. The site the boat is moored at is just lovely. A great cafe where we all had a delicious breakfast in the sun. Although there were quite a lot of people around (the weather was beautifully warm and sunny) we never felt overlooked when sitting on the terrace of the boat. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. York was only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away (costing about £13),making the Ark such a great location for visiting the city. I can't wait to rebook!

A wonderful houseboat, so well planned , on a so small area we could stay five of us, but I think maybe four would be more convenient. It’s so beautiful to sit on the rooftop and have a drink and watch the sun go down. Soon the restaurant on front of the house boat will open as it’s a new owner and fully renovated!

Lovely and quite very tranquil place spacious clean had everything we needed .lovely cafe on site with great food well stocked shop in village good pub food This was something different staying on a boat I can’t recommend it enough . Definitely would stay there again

All we expected & more. A truly wonderful place to stay. My partner & I were looking for somewhere to stay for a quiet romantic weekend & this was the perfect place! Beautifully tranquil & relaxing setting. We loved the boat & went out onto the lake a couple of times ☺ If anyone wanted to venture out anywhere, we visited Lydford Gorge one day, which was lovely (only a 15min drive). Kyle was an excellent host, very friendly & communicated everything we needed to know.

What a visit! We’ve absolutely loved every minute of our stay with Patrick and Juliette, they have created the most beautiful living space and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It’s a fantastic spot for either a calm getaway or for if you want to do some exploring, and your hosts have excellent local knowledge that they are happy to share if you need recommendations for the area. We had planned to just relax on the boat for the whole time, but we actually wound up visiting nearby areas (Brighton, the beautiful Sheffield Park, local pubs) before retreating to the boat for the evenings, and we loved this mix. Could not recommend this place enough, it’s been our favourite holiday yet and I’m certain that we’ll be back in future!

Lovely stay - well stocked kitchen, clean and comfortable. Stunning location on the lake, very calm. Easy to access other activities in the Cotswolds (paddle boarding, walks, pubs).

Such a beautiful, unique and peaceful stay. The canal boat is moored onto a private island, surrounded by friendly ducks and stunning greenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as returning guests and would highly recommend if you need to get away from a busy life and have a dose of nature!
