Philip has been a great host, and we had an incredible stay. Not only was the house absolutely stunning, but the location couldn’t be better. Despite the weather still being chilly - the house felt warm and inviting, my favourite was enjoying the sea views from the comfort of the house while sipping my morning coffee. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this place feel like a home. We’ve travelled with two young kids and everything we needed was already there. The welcome treats were a big bonus! We’ve enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our friends on arrival. I hope we can return soon.

This property is amazing 2 balcony's front of house during day rear of house to catch late evening sun, Lovely and clean and everything you need at hand also how many times have rented a place and expect you to survive a week one one toilet roll not here over 10 in the 3 toilets . Lovely view if you can't be bothered to do the 2 minute walk the the beach front then sit on balcony and watch the day go by, absolutely loved our week.

Fleur was a fabulous host, meeting us as we arrived. Very private garden and hot tub 👍, secure for our dog. Views are of fields with a quiet lane and nature reserve for walks. Local shops within easy reach, good location for exploring the south coast.

Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

Another fantastic stay at The Salt Shack! We absolutely love it there, each visit has been consistently successful, the house has been beautiful and clean with great things for kids to do. We struggled to leave as my 3 year old announced she “wanted to live here forever” and wouldn’t get in the car! It really is a fabulous place to stay and has plenty to do in the local area, the beach is an easy walk and Chichester is a short drive away. Highly recommend The Salt Shack! We’ll definitely be back again! ☺️

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Beach Lodge. It was the perfect base for myself, my husband, our two young children and our dog to stay for a couple of days whilst enjoying the delights of West Wittering Beach and the surrounding area. The lodge is connected to the main house, where the owners live, but it felt very private as it has its own front door and a back gate which meant we could come and go as we pleased. It is located literally just a few minutes walk to the beach - so very convenient! The lodge also has its own private, enclosed garden which was perfect for the kids and the dog. Communication with Michelle and Jack was faultless. Ahead of our stay, Michelle sent recommendations of local places for dinners/lunches which were so helpful and we ate at a few and all were delicious. Thanks Michelle! Overall, we found Beach Lodge to be peaceful, comfortable and the perfect place for a short weekend away from London. We certainly hope to return again soon!

Quiet, secluded and very peaceful… everything we needed was there, including wonderful, welcome goodies. The beds were very comfortable …. All in all the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. Thank you, Charlie !

Lovely quiet place which was cosy. Great location to see Chichester, Bognor Regis, Portsmouth and Southampton. Can walk to beach within 30 mins. Comfortable place with all amenities. You need a car but not tricky to get onto main motorways. Enjoyed pool and hot tub. Relaxing break, no traffic, serene.

very relaxing beautiful surroundings, loved the bedroom with double aspect views and bed was so comfortable. Great shower. we did find the armchairs a bit low but then we are 'getting on'.Good choice of eating places in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed the stay, it was just what we wanted, a little break and breathing space after a serious health diagnosis. It was quiet, maybe the time of year. Staff around the place were pleasant and helpful. The beach was really close and almost deserted, we went every day. My daughter and grandson used the pool, which they said was lovely. My only complaint would be the quality of the mattresses, sadly really uncomfortable,also, not sure if it just how it always is but the toilet didn't flush well, we used a nearby toilet for anything more than a number one(sorry if that's gross)

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

We loved the lodge and this was the 2nd time we had come back. The windows were filthy, and there was cobwebs inside and out and just wasn’t very clean. We came back as the first time we thought it was beautiful. The skirting boards and bathrooms were grubby. Apart from it being dirty, for the amount charged, would have thought it would have been as nice as the first time we came.

If you need a reasonable place to lay your head on the West Sussex coast, this place is perfect. There is a nursery opposite so although it is a rural location don’t go expecting it be quiet during the day. However this didn’t seem to bother us too much as we were only there for the night.

Very welcoming hosts. Wonderful place - comfortable in lovely quiet location very handy to explore the delights of Chichester harbour and West Wittering beach. Loved the Crown and Anchor pub at Dell Quay. Also enjoyed lovely walk from Crab and Lobster pub in Sidlesham around RSPB reserve at Pagham harbour. We hope to return.

Bridget and Chris were fantastic hosts. Would go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The place is situated in a lovely area, close to shops/resturants etc but also lovely forest and field walks! The BnB came with a wonderful kitchen and walk in shower, all spotless and to top it off, I could enjoy a cold beer in the sun on the outdoor decking area. I stayed for approximately 4 weeks, and it was just what I needed, a home away from home. Both are lovely and welcoming people and I couldnt recommend their BnB enough.

Honeysuckle Cottage is on the main road through East Meon but once inside it is quiet. All the furnishing and equipment are good quality and although the cottage is small, there is plenty of storage and it has everyone needed for a relaxing weekend. As others have said the second bedroom is very small but our son and his girlfriend slept comfortably and had enough space for their clothes. The garden is secure, so perfect for our dog. It’s also a sun trap so we were able to enjoy relaxing outside even though it wasn’t particularly hot weather. There are many excellent walks on the doorstep with stunning views. We were able to eat at The George on a couple of evenings and didn’t use our cars all weekend, which was just perfect. We did not park our cars on the main road but there’re plenty of places to park in the village, including the car park.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful large pond to have a walk around and the charlet was perfect. Felt like a little home from home. If I could give any feedback, it would be to upgrade the sofa bed mattress, this had been well worn and would need replacing but other than that, it was amazing

Great place, furnished to a high spec. Great location - the pub round the corner is great and the locals all friendly, it was very peaceful and a great place to spend a weekend.

A beautiful village and ideal location for exploring West Sussex. The cottage has everything you need to make it feel like home. Would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay during May half term with the kids - the house is stunning, even better than the photos and the view is spectacular. The house has a very high -end finish to it and had everything you could wish for in terms of amenities. We look forward to visiting again sometime soon
