Beautiful house with amazing view. We loved seeing the sunsets over the lake from all of the decks and the primary bedroom. Great amenities and very clean house. Host even left a thoughtful gift bag with some treats and card to welcome us.

We had a great long-weekend stay with our toddler and small dog. The house is in a cute neighborhood that's walkable to the restaurants/shops in downtown Harbor Springs. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. The toys in the living room were a nice surprise and helpful to keeping our toddler entertained as we unloaded the car. Very clean and nicely updated/decorated. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we came back to Harbor Springs.

We loved our stay at Stephanie's! She was a wonderful host and was very responsive for any of our questions. The home was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk away from the lake. Definitely would return!

We stayed here for my Bachelorette and it was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, and just overall amazing! We couldn’t recommend it more. We will definitely be back:)

Great family getaway, within 30 mins of many different restaurants, things to do. Super comfortable beds and stylishly decorated. The deck with the southern facing sun was a great way to spend the day on a cool, sunny, autumn day.

Was a very enjoyable stay. The location is great, as it is private and quiet, however is only a 10 minute drive from town. Very flexible check in time. Renee was very quick with answers to any questions and provided recommendations. It was a great stay and would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet area, outside of town, but close enough to easily enjoy all of the area's activities.

We had a wonderful time at Mark and Mary’s place. Our friends stayed in one of the other houses so it’s a great area for multiple families to stay and gather. It was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed at. The property is beautiful. We loved the patio area, fire pits, and lake area. We definitely want you to come back to take advantage of the lake.

Mark & Mary are always great hosts. We were a little confused by the heating system and Mary very quickly reached out to ensure we were in good shape, even decently late. When a snow storm came and temperatures plunged, Mark was quick to come and salt the sidewalks. Always responsive and kind, will be visiting again.

Freshwater was one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with for a vacation rental. They are extremely responsive and took care of any issues immediately. Would definitely recommend dealing with this company for any rental they manage.

The cabin was clean and it looked the same as the pictures. Very convenient for Mackinaw and the surrounding areas. We loved being able to kayak and use the row boat for fishing. My boys caught a crappie, perch, and a blue gill. We saw a Bald eagle, a pair of Loons and other wild life in the lake. The was shed was stocked with water toys, fishing pole, stores sticks and so much more. I thought this yard was one of the best I saw while kayaking. The cottage had limited Tupperware and measuring utensils but we made due. The space was tight but I already read in the description and expected it. Nothing we couldn't manage for a few days!

This beautiful cabin was the perfect setting for our retreat. The home is situated right on Paradise Lake with easy access to the water. The location is also incredibly close to the upper peninsula and made day trips to local landmarks easy. The rooms were clean, cozy, and spacious enough for a four person group and dog. We would absolutely book this cabin again.

Small, but clean and cozy! Perfect home base while we explored the area. Our kids loved having the lake and kayaks to play with. The electricity was a bit funny as all lights would dim when you used anything in the kitchen..but this issue did not detract from our stay. Would definitely recommend!

This house is a little gem. Perfect for a couple or small family. Ours was my husband, our 7mo baby and dog. We wanted a quick fall getaway, somewhere quiet and peaceful but close to town and restaurants. Location is great. 5 min from Walloon village and Petoskey. Tucked away on Walloon lake right off 131. The house is roomy, with the bedroom giving plenty of space for our pack and play. Kitchen has everything you need and David even left us smores for the fire and fresh sunflowers, and a toy for our baby! Really appreciate having things like plastic wrap, Tupperware, spices, paper towels, laundry detergent and even shampoo and conditioner. All the things that make travel easier and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings and mornings. And of course being able to have our dog was important to us. Lastly David was flexible with us on checkout which was most appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend this lovely AirBnb. We had a family of 10 - 7 adults and 3 under 18. each of us had a private space and also lots of room for gatherings. Loved the outdoor firepit. The host also provided kayaks which were enjoyed by all. We had an issue with the A/C which was quickly resolved by the host. All-in-all a very lovely visit.

Overall a good house to rent, however it is unlikely that we would rent it again. We like to have a boat and the boat rentals would not rent one at that location because the water is too rough in that bay. It would need a boat lift. The house was nice and had what we needed and the host was very responsive to our needs. One suggestion, add a couple of oven mitts to your kitchen.

Very nice spot. Quiet on the lake and only 10 min drive to Mackinaw City. No issues with bugs/mosquitos at all (late May). Would come back again

I grew up going to Pickerel Lake and was excited to find this cottage I could rent to relive my childhood. My and my family loved staying at Thomas's cottage. We were able to cook meals, play in the sand, go fishing, watch tv, etc. It was a wonderful view of the lake and drivable to tons of activities in town.

We really enjoyed staying in the rustic cabin. It has been well refurbished inside and is quite comfortable! Also didn't realize how close the lake was, and how beautiful to sit in the sun porch for an evening sunset and morning sunrise.. had a delightful stay & plan to go back in the future!

Super cozy, kid friendly place. Steps from the shallow lake. 10 min drive to mackinaw city, away from the big crowds but not to far! Perfect spot!

Ritchie is a good host, he was very responsive and accommodating while coordinating our check-in (we got there pretty late but self-check-in was very easy). The place is very simple but clean and exactly what we expected. The lake outside is very peaceful. We had a problem one night with a beeping faulty smoke detector, but the next morning Ritchie replaced it right away luckily. It's close enough to Mackinaw city that we were able to visit the Upper Peninsula from there. Would recommend!

Great one and done overnight as a stopping point during my travel.
