Skånes Djurpark (animal park) is a 45-minute drive. There, Nordic animals such as wolves, bears, lynx and other Nordic species live in their natural environment. Our guest house is located in a small village with about 50 people. It is a quiet and peaceful environment in the heart of nature. You have access to several hiking trails in the forest and countryside, proximity to the lake with swimming and fishing and to the village's pride, a really nice bus museum. Our water is of the best quality The guest house includes free parking and WiFi. Unfortunately, we do not have a shop in the village, so buy the groceries you need. We are happy to serve a lovely breakfast at a cost of SEK 100 per person. Please let us know the day before.

The house is secluded with few neighbors, and you can get there via a beautiful forest road along the lake. Only 200 meters to the nearest lake. The location of the cottage is a paradise for the fishing enthusiast as there is the possibility of fishing. The house itself has a lot of charm with open, pleasant social areas and a fireplace. Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower, Palmhuset. This is a very unique building where you get a place to stay like no other. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stucco, murals, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a stone patio with Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house are Hjelmsjön's nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you can crawl up on the couch and light a fire in the stove.

The Tailor's Villa

Skräddarmästarvillan är ett renoverat tvåvåningshus från tidigt 1900-tal med bevarade detaljer och moderna bekvämligheter. På entréplan finns två sovrum, toalett med dusch och tvättmaskin samt en altan i söderläge. Övervåningen har ett sovrum, kök och vardagsrum med tv och öppen spis, balkong i sydostläge och ett burspråk med utsikt över ån Lagan. Matbutik och centrum ligger 2 km bort. A couple of kilometers from the cottage is Hiaklitten, a fantastic hiking trail. But it is just as good to hike around the fantastic lake next to the cottage.

Här vaknar du med utsikt över vacker sjö! Njut av stjärnhimlen och ugglornas hoande på kvällen. Ta en rogivande tur i roddbåten på sjön.
