House holiday rentals in Ely

We had a wonderful stay at Fring Estate - the Market Square House, garden, pool and surrounding walks are beautiful. We were welcomed with the most delicious homemade brownies and Victoria and the team could not have been more accommodating - it was the perfect place to catch up with friends who live all over the UK - the bbq was on all weekend because we finally had some sun! We wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to bring the children and dog back next year. Thank you, this really is a hidden gem and we’re so pleased we’ve discovered it!

I didn’t stay there myself, I booked the place for my co-workers coming over from London , but they said the place was very nice!

Jean is a great host- very welcoming, clear instructions and interesting local recommendations. Waterside Retreat is in a smashing location, right on the small lake, close to the country club. The lodge is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you might need for your holidays and more. We also used the gym- it was well equipped, had a delicious Sunday roast at the country club and walked the dog along the nature trail and to Tydd St Giles- surroundings are very peaceful and beautiful. Uber-eats delivered to our lodge, no problem. Also, it was an easy 1 hour drive to Cambridge to soak up some culture. Overall a great Easter break, in a fabulous lodge.

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

The house itself was immaculate and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities, made us feel right at home. Claire went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Her prompt communication, helpful tips about the local area, and genuine care for our comfort truly made a difference. The location couldn't have been better. Situated in the heart of the city, we were able to explore all that Cambridge has to offer with ease. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Celesta has been a great host from first booking 8 months before, communicating through out answering any questions, helpful advice and letting me know when issues arose - and going above and beyond to have everything sorted for our arrival. Lovely stay had everything we needed, perfect location, train station walkable straight into the city within 10 minutes.

A really lovely lodge in a beautiful, peaceful setting. It was so well equipped; had everything you could possibly need and more - the welcome basket and additional extras were very thoughtful and made such a difference. The owner was incredibly helpful with excellent communication and everything was exactly as described. We hope to return next time we visit family in the area and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Granary for my mother’s 70th birthday—it truly exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and clearly take great pride in creating a space that feels both comfortable and special. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting, surrounded by wildlife like birds and rabbits, this is the place. It's also conveniently close to local shops and restaurants, with no shortage of things to do nearby. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would love to return!

My partner and j stayed here with our 2 dogs. Lovely dog friendly cottage in the lovely Village of Wicken with grwat walks and Wildlife from the doorstep,Wicken Fen is just a 5 minute walk away and adventures Fen where we saw some gorgeous Highland Cattle and the Konilk ponies. There were of boardgames to keep us occupied and a safe,secure contained garden for the dogs. The bed was very comfortable and theres a lovely open plan living room and kitchen. Would reccomended and will stay again in tye future. Josie

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

A charming place and well located for getting to the universities, and the environs. It’s fun to be in the pulse of academic life there. we recommend the Indian restaurant across from Parker’s Tavern, as well as Parker’s Tavern.

We had a wonderful weekend at the old steam mill. Photos don’t do it justice - it’s even more spacious and beautiful in real life! Very comfortable and quiet, the hosts Mark and Celina accommodated us at very short notice and were lovely and responsive when needed. The garden was perfect to enjoy a drink and meals in the warm summer evenings and our dog loved exploring. It was everything we hoped for a countryside getaway not too far from London.

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Good location to get around Cambridgeshire. Very clean, good size rooms and quiet area, would stay here again.

A lovely, clean and welcoming home. Georgina was excellent at communication and we even got to say hi in the pub next door. A great location to be close to the high street and the races. The house was well equipped for the family, including a high chair. Thanks for having us.

We stayed in Nicola's house as 6 people for 3 days. Even though these houses are tiny by default, we didn't feel like not having enough space. It was clean and well equipped. Everything is within walking distance and its a nice neighbourhood overall. Wouldn't hesitate coming again.

The Old Piggery was a beautiful and seclusive cabin with plenty to do within walking or a short drive distance! The premises was spotless when we arrived with the bonus amenities adding to our lovely stay. Everything was perfect and we could not ask for a better, cosy stay in the countryside.

This is the second time we have stayed here with our dog. The back garden is great and the Manor Field Park and Parkrun are around the corner. Parking is close by and Whittlesey has an array of take aways, bars and PB Yoga and Barre.
