Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ella

Great host, we enjoyed our stay and the view from the balkony is amazing. Nishanta owns a Tuk Tuk and is pleased to drives his guests anytime for 300Rupies. The Location of this appartement is a good starting point for Ella Rock. To the main road it is nice walk kg 15 minutes. Nishanta ist ein sehr netter Host! Er kümmert sich um alles was man braucht und ist sehr aufmerksam. Vom Zimmer und dem Balkon aus blickt man direkt auf den Wasserfall in der Nähe des Ella Rock. Leider waren wir zum Ende der Trockenzeit da (Anfang April) weswegen in diesem und allen anderen Wasserdällen die wir gesehen haben, kaum Wasser vorhanden war. Dennoch ist die Aussicht einfach wunderschön. Ella ist atemberaubend und man sollte auf jeden Fall genug Zeit hier einplanen. Der Weg von der Unterkunft zur Hauptstraße (mit vielen Bars und Restaurants) dauert ca. 15minuten zu Fuß und führt in einer atemberaubenden Landschaft an vielen Gästehäusern von. Zurück (Berg hoch) haben wir uns von Nishanta für 300Rupien fahren lassen. Er besitzt ein Tuk Tuk und holt seine Gäste auf Anruf gerne ab. Er hat uns auch vom Bahnhof abgeholt, was wir gar nicht erwartet hatten. So waren wir schnell und ohne Stress in unserer Unterkunft. Kommen gerne wieder.

Great place and great welcome. Everything is simple in the rooms, there is nothing superfluous, clean and comfortable, and most importantly - a panoramic window, behind which there is a beautiful view of the valley and the 9 arch bridge. The owners are very friendly. For breakfast they serve their fruits, vegetables and delicious tea. It's just rubbish! Too bad we only stayed one night. I dream of returning again.

Very warm welcome in this guest house. The view is beautiful and the food is good. The rooms are very large and the beds too. The building is an old one and is very charming. The bathroom are simple but clean with hot water. Over all, the owner is very very friendly and gave us plenty of advice to discover the region. The lipton’s Seat is a pure beauty, one of our best walk in Sri Lanka with magical landscapes.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Pokój taki jak na zdjęciach, przed pokojem hamaki i leżaki, można się zrelaksować patrząc na piękne góry. Ishari i Jej syn Vaneesaha są przemili, chętnie podpowiadają co ciekawego zobaczyć. Vaneesaha odebrał Nas z dworca, na następny dzień zorganizował wspaniałą wycieczkę po Ella, dzień później zawiózł Nas do Udawalawe na Safari, które również dla Nas zorganizował. Pyszne śniadania, świetna komunikacja i najlepszy gość z recepcji-piesek Bruno ❤️

Ajith and his family made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and the verandah and living areas were perfect for reading a book, playing cards or just taking in the stunning view! So peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here and make sure you try the Sri Lankan breakfast, it is delicious. We had a fabulous stay, thank you Ajith.

Very good place to stay, walking distance to city center, tasty brekfest and awesome view of the Mountains. Kapila is very good host and provided us with tuk tuk, as our driver could not get close, as there are some narrow streets for Bigger cars. Trully recommend staying in Kapila house and his family.

Единственный недостаток, этого жилья, это то что в нём настолько хорошо, что вам не захочется никуда выходить. Качели на балконе с видом, это что-то нереальное. К тому же, вы можете заказать завтрак или ужин прямо здесь, заранее, у хозяйки. И он будет вкусным и очень доступным. Так же можно заказать поездку по окрестностям, на тук-туке, по разумной цене. Обязательно сделайте это. В общем сняв этот номер, вы получите абсолютно всё что вам нужно.

Sehr gute Lage man schaut bis nach Udawallawe wenn das Wetter klar ist. Prima für Ausflüge zu Wasserfällen, Lipton Teefabrik, Tagesausflug nach Ella mit der Bahn. Selbstgemachtes Kokosnusseis bei Olives Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen!

Comfortable room with beautiful view on the mountains. Very helpful host. Close to main road, shops and restaurants. About 15 minutes from Ella train station. Just be prepared to make 100 m walk up the hill to reach the house from main road.

Trois nuits incroyable chez Senu et sa famille. La vue sur la cascade et la montagne est magnifique, le logement est idéalement situé pour la randonnée d'Ella Rock et pour rejoindre la ville d'Ella à pied en suivant les rails. Senu est toujours à l'écoute et disponible. Le petit déjeuner le matin était à la fois copieux et délicieux. Si c'était possible de mettre plus de 5 étoiles, je le ferais ! Merci encore

Unser Aufenthalt in Ella war magisch. Das verdanken wir auch dieser tollen Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit unvergleichlicher Aussicht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und das meiste fußläufig gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem Berg, weniger im Getümmel, was für uns perfekt war. Wenn man den Fußweg zur Stadtmitte von etwa 25 Minuten nicht in Kauf nehmen möchte, gibt es die Möglichkeit mit dem TukTuk zu fahren. Die Kommunikation mit Aruna war einwandfrei. Ein leckeres Frühstück ist inklusive und auch Abendessen gibt es zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das Zimmer war sauber und wir haben gemütlich geschlafen. Das Abreisen von diesem wunderschönen Ort fiel uns sehr schwer. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Very good place. Room clean and good. Breakfast from Nimalka is delicious ! View on Ella rock is amazing! And you just sitting near the room, having good breakfast, look at sunny peak of Ella rock and your mood are great ! They help us to have some ideas where and how to visit beautiful places, and help us to go to tissamahara (Nimalkas husband had a 2k 2k). After when we going to Tissa - her husband show us two very amazing waterfalls. This time was the best

Perhaps this is the best place where I stayed in Sri Lanka, I want to stay here)) the Owner is very hospitable, ready to help in every case. He gave us everything we needed and advised us where and how to go and where to buy. The house is new, very clean and beautiful, and very well located. From the main road you need to climb only 50 meters. It's quiet here, but you're in the middle of Ella. From the window we had a beautiful view of Adam's Peak.

Loved our stay at Jagaths place. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony, lovely rooms and very well equipped bathrooms. Jagath was a very helpful host helping us with every tiny details and doubts we had. His wife made some amazing breakfast and dinner. A very generous host and so very accommodating.

It was truly a wordeful Stay at 27, Demodara, Spring valley Rd. Though the place was difficult to find but their hospitality compensated for everything. The place has all modern amenities, very beautiful. neat and clean. They have kept all the necessary cooking essentials. The house is very beautiful with great view from the top. Ishara and Sanoj both are great person. Sanoj was very easily approachabe. After we reached their place, Ishara was there to take care of everything. He is a great, very humble and cooperative person. He was always a call away. He served us great breakfast and also Keep on checking withs us wheather we want dinner to be arranged be him. He also helped aranging us a car to go to colombo. and also picked us up in his car when we were coming to his house on the checkin day. It was truly a wonderful experience at this place. Beautiful place, great views, excellent food and best person Ishara summarise this place.

Communication was really easy! They organised early check-in. The view was amazing.

Etwas abgelegen aber dafür mit einem grandiosen Ausblick. Zimmer waren schön und sauber.

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily

Durante los 3 días que hemos estado nos han tratado muy bien! Muy amables y nos han ayudado a organizar nuestras aventuras por Ella! La comida allí está muy buena y lo hacen todo ellos!! El alojamiento es precioso, con camas enormes y vistas espectaculares! Sin ninguna duda repetiríamos!!

Het team zorgt er voor dat je aan niets ontbreekt. Heel erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, je kunt er zelfs ontbijten lunchen en dineren. Ligt wel aan een drukke weg maar dat is te verwachten in Ella! Zeker een aanrader!
