Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Ella

Our stay at Uschi & Anith’s property in Ella was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Uschi was abroad during our stay and very communicative when we made our booking. Ajith was in Ella and we cannot emphasise how special he made our trip. The home is located in the mountains with the most incredible views (& peacocks!) It’s very peaceful, quiet & perfect for slow mornings or days around the house if you’re looking to relax. Ajith’s family cooked meals for us at the house when requested, and the local gardener who takes care of the house is very kind and respectful. Over our 5 day stay, Ajith made sure all of our tuktuk’s were organised at a very good price, since you need one to access the property. He seems to know everyone in town and gave us the most incredible tips & suggestions based on what we wanted out of our time in Ella. We were so well looked after & it was truly a highlight to spend time & learn from Ajith and to see the town through his eye :)

Ajith and his family made us feel very welcome. The rooms are spacious and the verandah and living areas were perfect for reading a book, playing cards or just taking in the stunning view! So peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here and make sure you try the Sri Lankan breakfast, it is delicious. We had a fabulous stay, thank you Ajith.

Our time at Namals guest house was the perfect stay in Ella. The views were incredible and his homemade breakfast on the terrace were something we’ll never forget. Really easy to access Ella town by foot also as it is a 10 min train ride. Cute balcony setting for recharging and a lovely kind family

I had an amazing stay at Lipton View Villa! The place was clean, cozy, and just perfect for a peaceful getaway. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking you could see the mountains all around, and one of the best parts was watching the trains slowly winding their way through the hills. It felt like something out of a postcard. The location in Bandarawela was ideal. I honestly think it’s a much better choice than Nuwara Eliya because the weather in Bandarawela is cooler, fresher, and more comfortable. Plus, there are so many attractions close by and lots of great local restaurants to try. The host was fantastic very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made sure we felt right at home, which made the experience even better. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery, and explore the beautiful surroundings. I would definitely love to come back again!

I had a great time at Namal's place and would definitely come back here when visiting Ella again. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, Namal is very friendly and welcoming, the room has many amenities and decoration is done with great care. Also, the view is fantastic. The typical Sri Lanka breakfast tastes good and is a well-sized portion for 2$. Ask Namal for recommendations for sightseeing and walk along the railroad tracks for easy access to the city :)

Paradise on earth! So peaceful and rejuvenating, set in lush nature far from the noise of the city. Beautiful walks and swims in the natural pool and the best food we've eaten. Manoj and Jasmine provided top quality service and took care of us with such generosity and kindness. Cant recommend this place more, it is truly special

This AirBnB is just amazing! Bedrooms and bathrooms are super nicely designed and decorated, everything very clean and a breathtaking view😍❤️! Breakfast was also incredible and included in the room is a guide that shows you everything you want! The hosts are also absolute heart people, give good tips and are just great!! I would come back anytime!😍

We had a nice stay at this accommodations. It’s near the city center so it was easy to get there. If you want to see the “attractions” of the city you maybe have to walk a bit longer. But the apartment itself was nice and had everything we need.

Lovely place, just next to Ella city approx 800m away. Near train tracks but it’s not at all disturbing. They were amazing host. They picked us up far away from our location and also helped us in dropping at Colombo International airport. Always recommend others to check on this property as everything is very nearby

Poorna's villa was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and with all basic amenties. Host was extremely friendly, and extended help in whatever we requested for , instance arranged laundry services etc. Breakfast spread was decent with coconut roti, breads, egg, juices, fruits, coffee/ tea. Poorna's wife also showed us how they make Srilankan rotis. Overall fantastic stay and highly recommend family with kids.

Loved the place, specifically the hospitality of the host and family, everything was much refreshing and rejuvenating.
