Home & property were stunning ! Beautifully decorated! Exceeded expectations! Loved the goats, duck & pups! Host was very responsive & helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay when passing through NC on our road trip. The house was conveniently located to view the Mayberry attractions. The house was so neat and clean, and the host was great at communicating with me.

Molly's 3 bedroom home was the perfect place for our family to stop to break up our drive to Myrtle Beach. It was clean, comfortable, easy to find, and I lived the summer red, white, and blue theme. she left us water, snacks, and there was coffee for the morning. We hope to stay here again next summer!

The space was exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable! The hosts were warm and the unit had lots of information about exploring the area. It is near Galax, which has lots of restaurants.

As always, Cindy and Mitch were the perfect hosts. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel right at home at Brushy Fork Haven. Cindy takes the time to make sure your stay is perfect by having extra blankets and pillows available, a great selection of DVD's if the Roku TV isn't enough, a variety of games for family game night, a well appointed kitchen for cooking and baking (if you choose to), as well as extra necessities in the bathroom in the event that you forgot anything. You literally have to walk in the house and unwind - because even Walmart in Mount Airy will deliver your groceries to the front door. You will never be disappointed at Brushy Fork Haven!

Taryne is a great host! Exactly as described and it was perfect. Close to the town - about a 5 min drive. I battled with the WiFi, sent a text and she responded immediately. It’s a gorgeous house and love the layout with the two en-suite bedrooms. Gorgeous view, everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and wouldn’t look for anything else if I come to West Jefferson again. Thank you for being a great host, Taryne.

We had a nice stay. Everything was as promised and the host was very friendly. We had everything we needed. Beautiful view in a peaceful mountain setting. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was comfortable. Large, beautiful shower.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Whistle Stop apartment during a trip to North Carolina , and I couldn’t have chosen a more charming place to stay. From the moment I walked in, I felt wrapped in warmth and thoughtfulness. The space is beautifully restored with a perfect blend of historic character and modern comforts. The Egyptian cotton sheets, cozy living area, and full kitchen made it feel like home—only better. The location was ideal, with easy access to coffee shops, hiking, and small-town delights. I spent peaceful mornings on the front porch with a cup of coffee, soaking in the quiet charm of the neighborhood. It’s a true gem for anyone seeking rest, beauty, and a little adventure. We truly enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. We were able to ride our bicycles on the New River Trail in Galax. This was our second stay at Brian’s place and he excels in providing excellent amenities. The facilities were exceptionally clean and everything we needed was provided.

We felt right at home in her home. It was quiet and restful which was what we were looking for. The bed was so comfortable. I fell asleep almost immediately. My husband really enjoyed the squirrel outside the sliding door. I would recommend her to anyone.She is very friendly and she wants everyone to feel at home.

We were so excited to visit Pilot Mtn, my wife’s hometown. Eve’s place is beautifully decorated, and has every we needed. Thank you Eve for the hospitality, and we look forward to our next visit!

This is a stunning spot on Groundhog Mountain/Doe Run. We enjoyed time out on the deck with the tabletop firepit, comfy chairs, and it was completely enclosed so our dog could be out with us, which was great! Haley’s place was immaculate, well provisioned, had comfortable mattresses, handy to the Parkway, not far from the Olde Mill and the Maples Restaurant and secluded, tucked in to lush foliage. I would highly recommend staying there, if you love being in the mountains and woods, it’s a beautiful spot! She was also extremely responsive and very flexible, which we really appreciated.

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

Thaddeus was the best host I have had to date. Over delivered in every category!

Wonderful place. Clean, lovely and wonderful hosts. We all had a great visit.

Absolutely loved the building. We needed a place that allowed our dog and us to have a place to eat and cook during our downtime. The back yard is HUGE which allowed the dog to run and play while we had our campfire. The fireplace inside made me feel right at home. The kitchen was stocked and the dish washer saved me a lot of time. The view alone should make you want to stay here! Sunsets were beautiful. Parking was limited… I found it difficult to park my truck.
