A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Cozy, sunny, and spacious, with lots of privacy. There is a Microwave, Keurig, and mini-fridge (no freezer) available for use. There is NO stove, oven, or air-conditioning.

This is our 2nd time staying at Emilie's place, and each time has been great! We have family that lives in Soquel, so we have to stay in the area often. Emilie's place is only about 10-15 minutes from Soquel and is always a much better price than a hotel! You can tell Emilie puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring her guests are comfortable and cared for. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful space and not a far drive to the beaches, either Santa Cruz or Monterey. Loved coffee in the morning on the patio. The room and sheets are allergy free, so I didn't cry and sneeze while there! Bathroom is larger than it looks. The bed was very large & comfortable! It's a beautiful room. The host is lovely to work with and accommodating. Warm and cozy. Just love the quaint country feel. It's nestled in the rolling hills. Very beautiful. Perfect for my stay!

Great place to stay. I stayed for a week. Here parents were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again. Neighborhood was pretty. Only thing I would say, not really a bad thing, is I did not feel comfortable coming in late or leaving early.

I had a perfect stay in Salinas. Jose was a wonderful host: very responsive, friendly, and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet, located a short drive away from downtown Salinas, which has excellent restaurants. I loved Jose's house: the bed very comfortable, the shower was great, and the whole house was very clean. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit the Monterey area. Thank you for a superb stay, Jose!
