Very close to Golden Gate State Park, 15 minute drive to skiing at Eldora by Nederland or to Black Hawk/Central City with countless hidden (and very public) local hiking trails and National Forest in between. Rustic charm meets modern comfort at this peaceful mountain cabin tucked into 4 private acres of Colorado forest. With a wraparound deck, firepit, and private hiking trail, Rivendell is the perfect base for your Rocky Mountain adventure. Close to hiking, skiing, and local towns, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. Many guests pair their stay with a concert at the world-famous Red Rocks or a game a CU Boulder's Folsom Stadium before retreating to the mountains for quiet nights under the stars.

Enjoy a private getaway for 2 with wood-burning stove (MUST bring firewood), indoor dining/cooking area with 2-burner propane stove (propane provided), sleeping loft, outdoor sitting area with propane gas grill. NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

Between the breweries, BBQ, bakeries, and locally roasted coffee beans, this mountain town has so much to offer. We believe that our house is a quiet and easy place to call home. There is a dedicated office area, fenced in backyard, wifi, TV, indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit! You may never have to leave, but if you do, there is so much to explore in the Indian Peaks. #NED-048
