quiet summer home close to the bulb fields beach and dunes,10 min by bike and you are on the beach of Egmond a Zee, you are also close to the city of Alkmaar and artists village mountains, lots of cycling and hiking opportunities , the cottage is behind our house and is located in the middle of a quiet residential area. In the village there are several good restaurants, bars and lovely terraces. The supermarket is 200 meters away. The center of the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar can easily be reached by bus with 20 minutes. A day in Amsterdam is also a possibility. From the train station (Heiloo or Alkmaar) every half hour a train goes to A'dam.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

Schrijvershuisje/ holiday cottage "Little Hemingway" is ideal for the lazy reading holiday. Our cottage has plenty of books in the closet! There is also an opportunity to write. If you don't want all this, enjoy the peace, the sea and the dunes in our picturesque Egmond. Our cottage is small but very warm and cosy, and has a ditto sleeping loft. Three minutes walk from the beach. N/A : from July 1 to September 1, the cottage can only be booked per week, from Saturday to free/sitting.

It’s a stone throw away from the vibrant Cheesemarket and the bay window will provide you of an amazing view towards the medieval canals and the ‘Waag’ building, a national historic monument that’s located on Waagplein. Stolpboerderij Het Span: a wonderful apartment!

It's delicious on Het Span! You look across the countryside to the dunes and the mill. You have a private parking area and a private garden. We have done everything possible to keep the view of the sunset as much as possible. The apartment can accommodate 4 people and we like it when you come with children. They'll love sleeping in the bedstead and playing in the playhouse.
