Convenient location with ample space (and cutely decorated)! We either walked or took the bus to places, and found nearby shops and wine bars very accessible. The apartment is perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon; super solid and lovely.

I was familiar with the area as it's where my father grew up so I chose this partly for sentimental reasons but also because Dalry is pretty close to the centre and Haymarket station. But the flat was great too, and as I rightly guessed it really was much better quality than the other options I saw elsewhere. I'll always find accommodation in the city expensive but this really was pretty much worth every penny. It met all my requirements. Compact but fully-equipped kitchen (with freebie tea bags, breakfast stuff etc.), really comfy bed (slept like a dream) and modern bathroom with proper shower. The whole flat was well furnished. While I was travelling alone this time, it would be ideal for 2 people too. I know my wife would have loved it. Fiona and Gareth were friendly and helpful in their communication with me, and always responded promptly. Everything was clearly outlined and explained. So to sum up, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here.

We had such a lovely time at Ann’s flat. The view of the castle was absolutely breathtaking, and Ann offered wonderful recommendations of places to eat. It was an absolute joy staying here! The flat was a 10/10 and the host was a 10/10 as well! We couldn’t have had a better stay!! Thanks, Ann!

Great flat in wonderful location. Only drawback was internet reception. Used house wi-fi but no coverage in the bedroom.

Incredible location. Easy walking distance to everything. Great neighborhood feel. Apt was exactly as pictured/described. The tall ceilings & huge corner unit windows made for such a bright and cheery setting. We felt right at home. Trudi was extremely prompt in her responses and so helpful with any and all questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again, and can recommend this property without hesitation. And Edinburgh was one of a kind!! Enjoy!

Dawn’s flat was perfect for our four night stay! Really well situated, with lots of shops and cafes in walking distance. The flat is well equipped with everything you need and was immaculate on arrival.

It was a great experience. Amanda’s place is beautiful, with modern furnishings and an amazing view. The location is very central, yet it was still peaceful and quiet. We stayed there with our baby, and she had no trouble sleeping. The bed was large and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need. It truly felt like home. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Highly recommended. I had not expected so many stairs but perhaps I misread the ad. Very high spec finish and furnishing, and a very generous pantry for my use. Much appreciated 👍👍👍

If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh, this is the place to stay. The view from the apartment overlooking Edinburgh Castle is beautiful. The Grassmarket area is so close to everything. You are minutes away from the Royal Mile, Victoria Street, the Vennel, Greyfriars Kirkyard, and the hop on hop off bus stops right down the street. The little cafe next door is great to pick up something for breakfast. The neighborhood felt very safe which was important because I was traveling solo. The apartment is lovely and Aileen provided some delicious treats to enjoy. She is so friendly and messaged me to make sure I was able to locate and access the apartment. It is as clean and cozy as it looks in the photos. I actually hesitate to give such rave reviews because I want to keep this place a secret. I hope to visit Edinburgh with my children some day and will definitely stay at Aileen's place. If you are contemplating staying here do not hesitate. You will love it as much as I do.

Fantastic location for the buzz of the Royal Mile but very quiet, peaceful and undisturbed when at the apartment.... just a 2 minute walk away! Alan's communication was excellent, the place was very easy to find, not far from Waverley station and the apartment was exactly as described. The apartment was excellent for us, providing everything that we needed with a good supply of hot water etc. Would definitely recommend this apartment if you were thinking of exploring Edinburgh for a few days.

It was a pleasure to stay in Fiona’s apartment. It was beautifully styled and very well appointed . It was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. In addition to the basics (bathroom necessities, tea and coffee…), Fiona supplied various condiments, jam & marmalade, milk and breakfast cereals. She provided excellent information about local attractions, supermarkets etc, as well as transport options. We were able to easily walk to Holyrood Palace and a little further away, Edinburgh Castle The bed was comfortable and the towels were a good size. Fiona was a very helpful and responsive host and we would highly recommend this AirBnB.

Fantastic apartment - will absolutely be back. Our time in Edinburgh was short but with the central location of Fleur's apartment and her quick and concise communication helped us maximize our time in town. And do not miss out on the chance to stop by Fleur's coffee booth!

What a fantastic place to stay is David’s apartment. Yes it might be a little noisy outside on a Saturday night but you are on THE Rose Street. Fantastic location in the heart of town. David went above and beyond not just with his very quick communications, but his advice, flexibility with check in and then the cap it all an abundance of treats and toiletries, we felt spoilt! Thanks David!

An absolute gem in Edinburgh! Right in the buzz of High Street with minimal noise to the actual apartment. Spacious rooms with amazing view of the Royal Mile. Location is ideal for Edinburgh stay, but you will get a work out with 6 flights of stairs coming into the apartment. We didn't mind that, but it is something to consider. The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Bed and linen were hotel quality! We would absolutely recommend this stay!

A beautiful and spacious apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Very impressive views. It was very easy to get a bus into the centre of Edinburgh. We really appreciated and highly recommend the jacuzzi bath after running the Edinburgh Marathon!! Bulhar was great with communication. Also some extra touches were really appreciated - shampoos,conditioner and shower gel and other toiletries available to use in the bathroom. Also some soft drinks and teas and coffees available as well, which was very generous. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

Martin and Charul's home is wonderful! Truly a historic, beautiful home. You can stay for one day or a month and feel at home immediately. We stayed with young children and the toy and book collection was amazing for giving us some time to relax while they played! Note that the stairs are steep, so those were a bit challenging for the kids. Definitely doable! We would stay again!

Loved the location, so many pubs/shop within 5 minutes of walking. Also great that we could drop off our bags in the morning before check in. Super responsive!

Excellent Airbnb apartment in good location. The drawback was the 3 long winding flights of stairs to get to it.

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

We had a great stay at Maggie's place. The house was very cozy, neat and clean. The bathrooms, kitchen, utensils, bed sheets, towels, etc were all very clean. There was lots of stuff for the childrens to enjoy in Maggie's place. The house was loaded with all the modern amenities. There was not a single thing in the house which was non functional. The host was very prompt in responding to any query we had. To add, the locality is very peaceful. If I happen to come again, I would love to stay in Maggie's place. Not to forget the wonderful drinks, beverages, snacks, etc Maggie kept f to welcome her guests.
