Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Edam

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst,but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

Very nice location, very close to the center. It is important to mention that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the wider area by public transport. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet environment and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. After a long day in Amsterdam, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in Broek in Waterland at Haico. The house is cozy and offers everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a clean shower and a well-equipped kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast and make small meals such as pasta or sandwiches in the evening. The location is ideal for getting to Amsterdam quickly, and the bus connection is very good.

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

Ruben's sweet ground Level Flat was perfectly Situated for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam. Located literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and the major tram stops it was so easy to get around. The space is clean and bright. We really appreciated the quiet backyard Patio after a day of exploring Amsterdam. We would stay again.

That was a wonderful stay in a sweet and very cozy accommodation! When we come back to Amsterdam, we definitely want to be accommodated in Astrid's little cozy cottage again! Everything you need is available here. There is also a selection of spices, coffee and tea available as well as sufficient cooking utensils and dishes. The house was very clean and tastefully cozy. The beds were very comfortable too. Shopping facilities are within walking distance, as is the bus stop with a good connection to Amsterdam. All in all, a five-star plus accommodation! Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

It's one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. Mirjam was very sweet and you could tell that it's her passion to make her guests feel welcomed. She went above and beyond our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Also I cannot not mention the excellent breakfast. It was very filling and thought out. I can't see how you can rate this place anything other that 10/10.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

If this listing is available, I recommend you book it, there is only positives to this place. Conveniently located with great views in a spacious and well decorated place, it felt like a home with reasonable setup for a baby (crib, gate at the stairs). Hosts are lovely and responsive. The place felt very safe.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

We had a great time staying at this place. A nicely furnished and cozy apartment in the center of Alkmaar, in a backyard where the cat greets you every morning. Everything has been thought of and Vincent and Grace are very accommodating and helpful. I recommend this place!

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . The host filled the fridge with an unexpected treat of drinks and wine, which pleasantly surprised us. There was a lot of space in the apartment, it was generally nice. I was a little cold at night, but on hot days it will be great. You could hear the footsteps of the people living above us and how someone was using the water, because the house was built a long time ago. It's definitely a very nice garden. Very kind and helpful Host.
