Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This Airbnb was the perfect South Lake Tahoe getaway. The place was cute, cozy, and welcoming! It’s tucked away in a peaceful area but still super close to the lake, trails, and great restaurants. My favorite part was the gorgeous trail that is right next door and the outdoor yard! Our pup had the best time exploring the area with us and felt right at home. The place was spotless, well-stocked, (even with snacks and treats!) and beautifully decorated with thoughtful, homey touches. Nicole was so kind and welcoming to us. We can’t wait to come back.

Incredible property - the house was beautiful, included all the essentials and was beautifully decorated throughout (may have to be careful with little kids - lots of things to grab if you’re not watching). The property and surrounding meadow was incredible - and it was fairly easy to get into the main part of town. Would definitely come back here if I get the chance.

We had another great stay at Marie's place over ski week. Communication with the host was clear and quick. When we came, there wasn't a lot of firewood left, but they quickly arranged for some to be delivered. My daughter left her stuffy and they were very kind to ship it back to us. Wonderful location (close to the road, but also so nicely secluded—you barely see any other properties from the house), amazing views directly from the living room wondows, comfortable home (the only thing I would upgrade is beds... full size is a bit small for a couple) and very welcoming and responsive hosts.
