our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

This is a beautiful let to stay at, The pool is magnificent and the house is top class. Loads of hidden features all around and a ginormous TV! Great hosts & Lovely plot & local area. Highly recommend Bears Paw for food just 5 mins away. Thank you, We would love to come back

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Bramble cottage provided my family of 8 with a rustic 4 bed home away from home whilst attending a wedding at nearby Hadley Park. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 children, and the 3 bathrooms made it extra convenient. The TVs in the bedrooms were an added bonus and despite there being little phone service at the property the WiFi signal was great. Host George went above and beyond to make our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Always quick to answer any questions and on hand to offer any assistance. A true gent and a pleasure to communicate with. In all a lovely property and host. I would definitely recommend Bramble cottage to those looking for a home away from home for their family in Shropshire.

A really lovely property that was perfect for our family of the Festive period. It was very well kept and provided a lovely place to stay. The host was very responsive to any queries raised and we will definitely stay again.

The cottage was beautifully and tastefully decorated and equipped with modern kitchenware and thoughtful touches. Lucy was very flexible regarding our early arrival time and talked us through our concerns about the hilly nature of the walk down to the river. Our neighbours and everyone in the village was friendly with tea rooms and pubs and shops all within walking distance. The 10 minute drive to Bakewell and larger supermarkets was easy. Parking was not always easy but we usually found a space and if not, found the Car Park available about 5 mins walk away for a suggested contribution. June 21-28 was Well Dressing week - same time of year every year - and we wish we had been aware of this when we booked. We loved our trips to nearby Eyam, Edale, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Our stay @ The Mill was just perfect Debs is the most wonderful host who looked after our every need with plenty of banter as well 😆 The Mill itself is beautifully restored with so many original features both inside & out . I spent the first night just walking around in wonder Then the outside … just wow 🤩 Our own lake , friendly llamas 🦙, pigs , chickens laying you fresh eggs for brekkie … the list just goes on & on I personally loved sleeping at night with the doors open listening to all the animals Needless to say we will be returning as soon as we’re back in the UK When people say this is a hidden gem 💎 believe me The Mill surpasses all The Mill is a treasure trove 💚

We had a great stay at Janet's recently. It was easy to find and check in, and all facilities were available in the property. Everything had been thought of. I would highly recommend this AirBnB.

Yew Tree Farm was a perfect spot for our annual meetup. The children loved the garden space and it was great having the two sitting rooms and large dining table looking out across the neighbouring fields. We had a couple of lovely walks into neighbouring Gnosall and Norbury Junction - enjoying a pint by the canal on both outings. Definitely a spot that ticked all the boxes!

Had the best experience staying at the Coach House! Clare and Ed were great hosts, and me and my partner knew if we had any issues or questions we could ask! Though we had neither as C & E had given some fabulous food, shops and walking recommendations, which were so helpful as we weren't from anywhere around the area. So despite being 'out in the sticks' a little, we were never short on things to do (though the hot tub and provided fizz also helped with that)! All in all, we had a wonderful experience and we could not recommend the house and Clare and Ed enough!

The house is stunning and a fantastic space to chill and spend time with family. The host Daniel is very helpful and friendly. The house is equipped really well and there is lots of room to sit together as a family but also to escape. Daniel has thought of lots of little things such as spices, salt and sauces ice in the freezer etc. I would highly recommend the house and we will definitely be returning.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely spot in Tean. It was a beautiful find. peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sophie was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful. The little touches throughout the house made it feel extra special and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

It was a great place, well located for Shrewsbury town centre with a pleasant walk along the river to get there. I would definately stay here again. Note: finding the property can be tricky when following 'sat nav', and working out how to reverse a car into the off-road drive required a bit of strategic thought, but that all seemed to add to the experience! This is our 4th stay at Arlene's lovely home. We love coming staying here its like home from home for us. We are having some renovations done on our home so we didnt hesitate to stay here for a few days Cannot recommend this place enough. This time we went to a lovely restaurant in Newcastle, The Arch for a Chinese, it was really nice. We will be back. Thanks Again Arlene

The House was beautiful. Its character and charm were out of this world. Plenty of room and lovely decor! Everything we needed in the house for a great stay! When we arrived the was just too cold. It was so uncomfortable for all of us and just about heated up as we went to bed. We had to use the middle small living room as it was the only room warm enough to sit in. A couple of the bedrooms didn't have any heat from the radiator so again very uncomfortable to be in. By the next day the house had warmed up and was fine. The heating should really have been put on on the morning of our arrival so we didn't freeze the for first late aft / Evening of our stay. I we were to stay again it would meed to be at least spring time unless th e heating had been on.

Having stayed here previously, it was the first place I looked to book when staying in the area again. Hosts were responsive on messages and instructions were clear and helpful. They let me check in early of which was really helpful. Lovely little place, great amenities and very homely. Great value and a charming little stay. Would highly recommended if in there area and looking for a good value place to stay. Would highly recommend. 👍👍
