Cottage holiday rentals in Eccles-on-Sea

The family had a lovely break here, a short drive from Norwich Showground where we attended an event but far enough away for peace and quiet… lovely walks… excellent pub Kings Arms local for dinner. Everything needed was in the lodge including a very appreciated ‘welcome pack’ to start us off on arrival. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Lesleys place. Very near to the sea and close to all beeches we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi. The cottage is dog friendly and had all things our 4 month old Labrador puppy needed.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

We went for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The hot tub and Sauna was just lovely and very relaxing. Lovely cottage perfect for 4 people. The host was very responsive and recommended a fabulous restaurant nearby. I would advise to come to Diss by car as the cab service was not great so had difficulty getting about. You have to book cabs in advance. Overall it was Great weekend

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We had a perfect weekend break accommodation as described 👌. Joanna left homemade brownies that lasted all of 5 mins 😁 milk, eggs, yoghurts, vase of flowers, cream, and cookies all made the first impression Perfect. We walked throughout the large grounds used the jacuzzi, games room with toilet which had sky tv on a large screen pool table tennis table football and ice hockey game, lots of seating to watch. Very quiet and secluded area 20 25 mins from beccles local pub unfortunately we did not use. Farm shop on site with local fresh produce and everything thing you might need if you have forgotten anything. At night no light contamination so on a clear night we could see a sky full of stars planets etc. Overall perfect place Perfect accommodations and perfect guest 👌 A1.

We arrived in good time and had clear instructions from the host. The photos do not do Justice to this beautiful country cottage in an idyllic setting. Complimentary wine & chocolate. Everything we could have asked and wished for was here. Space, nature, games, BBQ and hot tub, kitchen amenities . We were 7 adults, 1 child and dogs. We never once felt overcrowded. We have literally all had the best short holiday ever. We would book another stay in a heartbeat and stay longer. None of us wanted to leave. Thank you so much.

Philip was a great host, he left us some welcome treats at the house and kept in touch to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. It was a home away from home. Only a short walk to the beach which was lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Bird box Cottage was fabulous. Immaculately clean throughout, beautiful decor while maintaining the charm of the place. Everything had been carefully thought through, from the personalised welcome letter, welcoming treats and literally everything we needed to start our stay. Gorgeous quality linens and lovely big towels - not always a given but hugely appreciated! A beautiful tucked away location in the heart of this gorgeous town - this was partly a work trip and sadly too short but we will definitely return. Thank you Mel :)

A pretty end of terrace in tranquil surroundings ideal for small families and/or dog owners. An easy walk into town with access to the beach, two big assets. Attractively styled and well equipped, spotlessly clean and well maintained - overall a quality experience in a lovely place. Thank you.

Very well equipped, decorated and clean cottage close to everything in Cromer. As it says in the listing, it is next to a pub so can be lively at the weekend. We came without a car so having the coast hopper buses from the nearby travel hub is great and you are close to the railway station also. Lynn is a responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and travel etc. Really enjoyed the week!

As far as we are concerned Caralyn's Airbnb is faultless. It was both everything described and everything we wanted. The dog love it too!

Really clean and Beautiful. We had a really lovely weekend with our doggie seaside lots of walks. Black boys pub was great food and an easy walk too. Would highly recommend to anyone else thanks:))

Graham was awesome! Very helpful and always on the message with quick responses if we had any questions, lovely place- nice and quiet but lots of fun in the pool. Was perfect for a lads golfing trip!

We only stayed two nights here but wished it was longer. Location is amazing, with open fields and wildlife around. The accommodation was clean, spacious, well equipped with quality items and a very comfortable bed. The shower was great but remember to take your own towels. It was good to know that Annette was on hand should we have any queries but she left us to it. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Norfolk.

Ruggle's Retreat was perfect for our stay. The cottage was attractively furnished and spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was well equipped for when we chose to self cater. It was in an excellent position just 2 o3 minutes from the town centre with its pubs, shops and attractions such as the Little Theatre and very interesting museum. A public carpark was very close and had free parking from 6pm to 8am. There were plenty of places to visit in the local area such as Cley Nature Reserve and Blickling Hall and I would thoroughly recommend Ruggle's Retreat as a base for a short break for a couple. We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication prior to our stay was great and also received photos to help us find the cottage on the day which was very helpful. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing break and we managed to make the most of the area despite the weather. Hope to book again in the future to explore more, thank you!

We had a fanastic stay at Jayne's; the location couldn't have been better, near to the beachfront, cafes, shops and green spaces. Beautiful cottage just as described; fully equipped kitchen, lots of lovely towels, and some very thoughtful touches 🙂 thank you for a lovely two night stay! We would come back again!

Absolutely perfect cottage, spotlessly clean , spacious , plenty of room for us all , beautiful surroundings, just a few steps to the beach, great FRESH fish and chips round the corner .. great location as so close to places like Stalham, horsey and of course the broads We loved every minute of it It was a very special, emotional and nostalgic weekend for us, and the cottage just made it even more perfect

Thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in Grove Stables. The accommodation is comfortable and stylishly decorated and was well equipped with everything spotlessly clean. It is in a peaceful location with easy parking. Sally and David were friendly hosts and we found their directions and useful tourist information very helpful. We also appreciated all the treats they kindly left for us. Wi-Fi and mobile coverage was good for us and we were able to watch Freeview on the TV. There is lots to do in the area: we had a boat trip on The Broads, visited several villages along the coast and used the Park & Ride into Norwich. We certainly recommend Grove Stables.

We had a wonderful time in this very comfortable and spacious cottage. The beds were very comfortable as were the sofas and the kitchen was excellently equipped. The beach is close by and Watsons across the road does a good breakfast if you don't want to make it yourself.
