Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Townships

I had a great stay at JF's place in a quiet community yet close to Trois-Rivieres and Shawi. JF is a very polite individual, enjoys humor and likes to interact with his visitors with good honest conversations. He sure has a exceptional way to receive you on your first arrival, I'll let you guys find out when you get there :) Overall, a great place to stay with everything one might need, a excellent host and in a great location for tourists. Thank you JF, I enjoyed having good chats with you even though I might've pulled your leg a few times. lol P.S. ** Do not blame the jerky if you don't feel good in the next couple days...** Cheers!

We lucked out when Jason and his wife listed their place at the last minute for eclipse viewing. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable in an apartment that was, I believe, unfurnished just a few days before. I booked it expecting the bare minimum (mattresses on the floor of an otherwise empty place, which honestly, would have still been great) and was pleasantly surprised when we had linens, towels, toiletries, even snacks and bottles of water. They provided a wonderful list of local recommendations (DEFINITELY get a creemie down the street at Devyn's!) and a TV with Netflix too. The location is sublime, close to the interstate without requiring any travel on dirt roads, an easy drive to St Albans, but practically inside a wildlife refuge and with a gorgeous waterfront view right in the backyard. Jason was responsive to all my questions and met us upon arrival to give us a tour. We were focused on the eclipse but we'd love to come back someday to really explore the area.

Arthur was nice and communicated well during our stay. His apartment is described accurately and it was a comfortable stay. The place was clean and tidy. We felt ok coming and going from the apartment but the 2-3 blocks right around the apartment made us a little nervous and we were careful to avoid certain streets. There is a "lockbox" described for keys but Arthur met us at check in and check out to exchange keys (there was not a lockbox option). Also, the place states that smoking is allowed, so anyone that is sensitive to smoke should take note. We didn't smoke, and there was somehow smoke in the apartment sometimes, perhaps coming in from outside (we did not tell the host - it was mild and we didn't feel the need to bring it up). Overall, Arthur is a great host and really seems to want to people to have a good stay.

It was a lovely stay and a fabulous location we would go back for sure !! He was easy to contact and answered quickly !

This was an amazing experience. I had never been to Vermont before and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. In the middle of the trails. The only thing I suggest is to find a way to store bikes. Besides that, the place was clean and had everything we needed. The fire place was a nice bonus.

Great area within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and amazing bars and breweries. Perfect little spot to stay to set out on Burlington adventures.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Eva’s place. Very convenient to coffee shops, restaurants, hiking etc. Will be back!

Le Boheme is a beautiful place. It is ideal for families. I had my children and two granddaughters. House is beautiful, 5 bedrooms lots of space. Big Dining table and counter stools - full amenities. Large space, the great room with the huge couch was fun for all. Hot tub Sauna and Pool Table were a great addition. Right beside ski hill, 10 minutes from St Sauveur, less than an hour from Tremblant made it ideal. Hosts are always available and responsive which makes it feel more personal. Thank you for a great stay! I recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a beautiful stay.

This place was exactly what my family needed for a lowkey getaway - with a private dock large enough for everyone to fish, and clear waters with nice flat rocks for the kids to skip. We would book again in a heartbeat

Our stay was amazing. The place was sparkling clean, David was also very communicative. The check-in instructions were super clean and easy to follow. I really enjoyed my stay, the spa, and lake. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

House was great three bedrooms upstairs slept comfortably. House had that great cabin feel inside. As of 1/20/25 the snowmobile trails from the house had OK coverage. Jean was great and was very responsive to all my questions. I Would rent here again as it was everything we looked for and as close as the snowmobile trails.

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting. Modern aesthetic with well appointed fixtures. The house is adorned with beautiful artwork spanning the globe, and a thoughtful layout that allows for group socializing as well as private space to unwind, play music, read, enjoy the hot tub or take in the Mountain View from the wrap around deck. An empty garage made for ample bike parking with a short ride down a dirt road to a golf course, market, restaurants and bike path to town. Deer and a fox were among the wildlife seen. Grant was a wonderful host with great communication responding back to questions about the house within minutes. I would highly recommend this property to groups, couples or families looking for the perfect Stowe getaway.

This stay at Jill’s wonderfully cozy house was of 3 weeks over the Christmas season, while our first stay was much shorter. As with the first time around, everything was perfect, or close to be. Jill makes sure that you are provided everything you may need to enjoy every minute of your stay. The decoration of the house is neutral enough so as not to offend anyone tastes but still attractive; all machines work well; furniture, beds, bedding are all very comfortable and the kitchen is so well equipped that, if you like cooking, you can really make fine dishes. This little house has kept its antique character while having been restored at the best level. We were lucky enough to have quite a snowy Christmas which made our stay magical. With a safe fire place burning woods we spent many hours listening to audio books while I was crocheting a blanket. It was really a fabulous 3 weeks! Thank you Jill for being so attentive to your guests needs and desires.

Very nice place. Loved the way the place is decorated. We felt like we were in a museum. Unfortunately, we had pouring rain all weekend so we didn’t visit the area as much as we wanted. Would definitely come back.
