Holiday rentals with lake access in Eastern states of Australia

Absolutely stunning views, you walk outside the sliding doors that overlooked the pool and it is breathtaking. The house was in very clean condition. I was able to take my children to the stables that’s on the property to feed the horses, donkeys and dogs. The kangaroos came to the front of the property each morning. Honestly a 10/10. Hosts were very helpful too, were super responsive and helped me find a private chef that came out to the property. Thanks again

Great location and great fireplace and pit, close to Beechworth, an interesting bathroom design a little chilly bit i admired the architecture and if you like minimalist space this is great ], great host help us oldies with the oven an accommodating on the firewood, true representation in the pictures, a beautiful weekend

We had an amazing weekend getaway at this pretty house! The property was peaceful, clean, and just as described, with breathtaking views of the river. We spent our time fishing, kayaking, and even got to drive the boat provided, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. It really made the trip feel special and adventurous. The host was responsive and made everything from check-in to check-out super easy. A perfect spot to relax, explore, and enjoy nature—highly recommended!

The photos do not do this stay justice. The view was absolutely stunning (despite the bad weather over the weekend we stayed). It was spacious, well equipped, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. It felt very private, we had a nice stay and hopefully will be back. Thank you :)

Excellent stay at Ben’s lovely home. Quiet, comfortable and had everything we could have needed and more! Hot tub was fantastic and the fire pit at night was perfect. Would highly recommend staying here and listening to the ocean waves

This place is a hidden gem. It’s great for a retreat from the hustling and bustling life, and transport you back into nature. It’s very secluded, but it is meant to be the way it is. A Stonehill retreat. If you are looking for something that is near town, this is not for you. But if you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful place, I would recommend it 200%! Jacqui was also extremely helpful in her travel directions, and took extra effort to provide us with some oil when we ran out. Thanks much!

this is our second stay and again absolutely loved being here we will 100% be return guests it's a home away from just 1 million times better. We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s BnB. The place was very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable throughout. Parking was easy, and the views of Melbourne were stunning. It’s a great location—very convenient to Southbank and central Melbourne, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Sarah was a very responsive and helpful host, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Great location with fantastic views, perfect to sit, relax and unwind. Fully appointed kitchen to prepare your own meals, or lots of great options nearby to eat out. The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at, by far! Comfortable, thoughtful and and tastefully furnished with all the mod cons. Generously stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, items for a cooked breakfast, snacks and treats. Lynne's place definitely stands out, a home away from home. A well deseved A++ (from a tough marker 😀) .

Our extended stay at "the Muddy" was excellent. Although Ean and Chris were on holiday during our stay, we were well taken care of by Matt and Alex. Matt was very friendly and responsive to anything we needed the entire time. The location was very private and just as expected from the pictures, and description with all amenities we could need. The kitchen was easy to prepare meals when not dining out, and sitting out front in the morning watching the birds was entertaining. I would definitely go back again sometime.

We loved staying at the Muddy. We stayed for two nights during a cold spell. The fire was lit for our arrival and we were warm and cosy. Cathie and Michael were friendly and welcoming. The Muddy is private, very quiet, beautifully furnished and has a peaceful outlook - yet it's only three minutes' drive to town. We enjoyed a day hike in the Cathedral ranges. This is a gem of a home - we highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for somewhere close to Melbourne (just over two hours) in peaceful countryside.

Our family of six absolutely adored our stay at the Cottage. From the moment we arrived, Ann made us feel incredibly welcome, truly making it a home away from home. Despite the wet weather, the cottage was wonderfully warm and cozy, thanks to both the efficient air conditioners and the charming chimney – perfect for relaxing evenings. The house itself was impeccably clean and felt fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We honestly loved every single thing about our visit and can't wait to come back again soon!

We had a great time. Sue took the time to show us around the paddocks and to feed the animals. We could then roam the paddocks at our leisure. The accommodation was just as described and had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away.

Great stay, no complications and beautiful views. The place is lovely and separated enough from the house that it feels like its own little home. Aaron made the check in and check out super easy and was very accommodating with any of our needs - but thanks to the ease of the stay we didn’t need to reach out at all! Lola, their puppy, was also a lovely morning surprise when she would greet us at the door. 100% would recommend to anyone!

Paul is an excellent host — Always responsive and helpful, offering tips on what to do in the area and checking if we had everything we needed. I feel like I have no words to describe the place; it is simply perfect. I was looking for a nice place to take my mom, and I was amazed when we arrived. The house has everything you need, the fireplace is great and makes it very cozy. The bedrooms include heaters and the beds have electric blankets. The kitchen has everything you need and the garden is just wow. I would definitely visit again. Thank you again, Paul, for the wonderful time you gave us :)
