House holiday rentals in Eastern states of Australia

What a beautiful little slice of the yarra valley. The heating was very efficient, it was icy overnight and we had no idea. We woke to kangaroos outside the window each morning. The caretakers lodge was much closer to the accommodation than I expected, however they were very helpful and friendly and I didn't see them apart from when I checked in. The house is stunning. The view from the huge windows is lovely. It felt very luxurious and was a lovely place to stay after getting married. I would absolutely recommend Kangaroo Manor to others, and I'd love the opportunity to stay there again one day. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and professional, and gave me the impression that I could contact them at any time. Thank you for a very memorable experience.

Sadly only a quick one night stay but we loved every minute. Jacqueline has thought of everything and kitchen is well stocked to cook a great meal. We were happy sitting outside to eat & relax and enjoyed the butterflies & birdlife. Looking forward to a return visit, just needs to be longer. Thanks Jacqueline

The house and surrounding property was better than we imagined. It was one of the most beautiful houses we have stayed in, and the view from the living area was breathtaking. We didn’t go anywhere all weekend because the house was so relaxing and comfortable and all we wanted to do was look out the windows at the ocean. Marie’s house is fantastic. You have 360• views of the rainforest, which you wake up to in the bedroom and can enjoy all day on the balcony. Although you can’t see them, there are neighbours close by so you don’t feel completely isolated. Marie was an excellent host, very responsive to messages and provided us with a wealth of details about the house and our stay. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again.

The little red barn was the perfect little getaway we needed, it was peaceful and private, we had a great time there. There was everything we needed and the heated pool was amazing, its close to everything you need for a great weekend but at the same time its far enough away to have a relaxing time without the hustle and bustle of everyone else. I highly recommend the little red barn, you wont be disappointed.

This is the second time I have stayed at David’s beautiful home. Can’t thank him enough he is very responsive and clear with instructions to get inside. Once you are inside it’s absolutely magical. Views are incredible and the house is just so perfect. Can not recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to go back again one day. 5 stars

A very rare back to nature experience with beautiful comfortable accomodation, your own private creek & swimming hole, stunning serenery magical garden, cassowary’s at the back deck, beautiful linen quality generous amenities… the host has thought of everything spectacular scenery right from your veranda (even at night with flood lights over creek) & SO peaceful. Quiet, Fabulous panoramic views of the Hawkesbury from an elevated deck. Wood burning fire with plenty of supplies made the wintery chills go away. 10mins from Wiseman’s Ferry crossing. Enjoyed staying would recommend - access is via a steep set of steps - hence the view :)

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Rise Farm - "Hanging Rock House" Thank you to Mary for for the opportunity to stay in your lovely property. We were so warm and comfortable and all wished we had been able to stay longer. It is fabulously appointed and perfect to relax in. Everything you could possibly wish for in terms of amenities was available for our use and the open fire completed the ambience. Excellent communication ensured our total relaxation right from making the booking.

We had a lovely couple of days away, at this secluded beautiful location with 360° views. We had an adventure and walk around the property, enjoyed the outdoor shower. We really enjoyed our stay.

We went for a long weekend to Dalys’s & thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was thoughtfully laid out & was so clean , neat and tidy. Breakfast provisions were provided plus other lovely treats. There isn’t really a supermarket nearby but general store has some food basics. The cafe next door to the general store is gorgeous and well worth a brunch stop but you really need to book in before hand , it’s busy. Lots of walks and places to eat breakfast & lunch all at your door stop. Dinner is more limited but the pub is easy and only a few minutes stroll down from the house. We took my elderly mum and she was fine with the stairs in the house, they are easy & low rise. In fact she wanted to move in and had such a great time. Driveway & steps up to the house are a bit steep with a pebbled part to walk on if you struggle with mobility. Everything about this property feels luxurious , airy and inviting. Sunlight & views into the living spaces is glorious. We would love to stay again.

Emma's place was wonderful. Astoundingly well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom amenities. Comfortable and relaxing. We did not have a dog to bring, just ourselves. Any reservations we had that the place would be more animal focused and maybe a bit too 'hairy' were unfounded. The place was pristine clean, smelt fresh and welcoming, and was the perfect place to chill out. We will definitely be back to Emma's place again!

We had the most restful few days at Tammy's cottage - it's perfect and its history, fascinating - and the view, wow!! Was blissful to watch dusk make its way across the mountains from the verandah or one of the perfectly placed picture windows inside. We also loved wandering through the gardens and discovering all its hidden treasures. We saw kangaroos, cows and lots of birds but our favourite were the Guinea fowl - what characters! Tammy is a responsive host and we appreciated the little welcome pack of chocolates, biscuits and everything we needed for a hot chocolate. Barney Views is the perfect place to unwind and have a little R & R, and we highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

A beautiful house which really makes the most of the ocean views. We really enjoyed the design of this house with great natural light and versatile spaces. Despite having a very cold snap with the weather, the house was quick to warm and remained warm when the heating was off. Great location with easy car access to Philip Island and surrounds, but otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t speak more highly of this AirBnB! Beck’s home is beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. We’ve stayed in many places and this one has to be one of our favourites. It hit the mark for what we wanted and more. Peaceful, private, tranquil stay on a property to envy. We had teenagers with us as well and they loved it. Perfect for families of small groups looking to unwind and spend quality time. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Too many highlights to mention but a few were the large well stocked kitchen, outdoor projector and screen, Argentinian BBQ, herb garden and fruit trees, fireplace, spa, pristine amenities, great record collection, books/games and activities, and the beds were the comfiest we’ve stayed in! Enough for me to enquire where to buy the bedding. Beck was great to communicate with and responded quickly to any of our needs (though she had thought of everything so there wasn’t much we needed). We are already talking about when to go back!

Thank you, it was the most needed stay this year for us after a really tough year last year. This place is my favourite airbnb EVER and made us feel like we were in heaven. Loved that it was super dog friendly and really the place was so well thought out, I overpacked essentials but I know for next time I won't need to!

Had a lovely 1 night stay this week, king bed is very comfy, location is great right in the centre of town walk to everything, best coffee we found is at the early opener in the Main Street opens at 5am The property is spotless, there’s also a cafe next door.

My girlfriends and I just spent the weekend at Braeside Mountain. The view was spectacular, the house was gorgeous. Sunset in the spa and waking up to the Wallaroos chilling in the yard...Amazing! Adrian and Stevens are so lovely. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be going back 😊
