Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Eastern Scheldt

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

The place is spotlessly clean and the hot tub was warm and clean. The house itself lovely and a nice little neighbourhood. We travelled by public transport which made everything a little difficult. It was quite far from a supermarket and the beach was a little further than expected. I think if we had a car it would have been better for us. Ouddorp is a very nice town We took advantage of the facilities at the RCN park nearby which had a splash pad and bike rentals.

Karel is a remarkable host. Attentive, very available and discreet; he kindly prepared his boat for us without us having warned him very early for that and inquired to allow us to watch a football match (a special request from one of us). Regarding the house, it is incredibly large, extremely well-equipped, nicely furnished and has very beautiful exteriors overlooking the river. I highly recommend staying at Karel's and I hope to return!

Very lovely and peaceful place. It felt like home. I love how Karen & Tom did put an effort to make this place a special stay for guests. Clear instructions, friendly & responsive host, spotless place, well equipped kitchen, peaceful & romantic place in the nature. Supermarkets are like 5 minutes driving in a lovely small town. We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi. Whenever I’m in the area I would definitely book this place again.

We were there with 4 women. Beautiful, quiet area to relax. We were warmly welcomed with chocolate and a handwritten message. All rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The highlight was the whirlpool, which is easy to use. Despite the rainy weather, we were able to enjoy our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Nick's. Ideal location for a family or group of friends. Very nice beds and a beautiful garden. Also enough parking spaces and it was within walking distance of the center. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house belongs to a holiday resort. On the grounds there is also an indoor swimming pool which you can use. You can't look into the apartment as others had written. It is about a 15-minute walk to the beach. There is a beach bar there.

Had a great stay, wonderfully relaxed in this beautiful area! The weather was perfect and made good use of the pool. When it got a little fresher, the jacuzzi came in handy. Huge luxury!

We felt super comfortable in Wendy's house, we didn't lack anything. Everything was very well maintained and very attractively furnished. Great location. The outdoor area with great , fenced garden ….. just great for our dog…..also for us:-) Thanks to Wendy and Dennis for the super fast and friendly communication and flexibility.

Very nice house. Whirlpool was really great and also that there was a grill. Everything was very clean and Yves was also very nice and always available. Towels and bed linen were also available in sufficient quantities free of charge. The only small drawback is that there is only a small oven or microwave grill, which meant we had to reschedule our meals.

We were with seven adults and a toddler in the accommodation and had a very nice stay. The house was clean and well equipped. We particularly liked the layout of the room with a large living area and adjoining access to the sauna and shower. From there, you could quickly reach the outside whirlpool. The garden is sufficiently large and enclosed by a hedge, so you have a lot of privacy. Both the outdoor furniture and the whirlpool are covered, so you can spend time there even in bad weather. The grill, which you can book with coal, is great and we used it several times. The trampoline in the front yard is a highlight for children (and some adults). Communication with the hosts was uncomplicated and the exchange on site was extremely friendly. Overall, we had a great vacation and can recommend the provider without reservation!

We were looking for an exceptional place to spend Christmas with the family as usual and we came across this address. It reflected all our criteria: relaxation, luxury, and nature. The stay was amazing. We highly recommend this place with a hybrid concept that during the holiday season is an entire home. The owners are very attentive. Nothing to say: go for it!

What a wonderful, idyllic place. A beautiful garden, with everything you need. Very cozy and warm inside. A double bathroom was very nice! The contact was nice and the script of the cottage was really an asset. So we knew exactly how and what. From toilet paper to spices, there was a lot of everything. This was very pleasant. We enjoyed it very much.

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta's place very much. Beautiful log cabin with lovely jacuzzi and spacious garden where our dog could run. Definitely recommended!

What a lovely place for a weekend getaway with friends. Communication with Evelien was quick and smooth. The cottage was clean, spacious, quiet and had nice facilities. Recommended!

We had a wonderful time at the Nieuwendijk Guesthouse - everything was really perfect! The log cabin is very stylishly furnished, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Particularly noteworthy are the private whirlpool and the sauna - both absolute highlights! Sitting in the warm whirlpool in the evening, enjoying the sunset and later watching the clear starry sky was simply magical. The quiet location in the middle of nature is ideal for switching off and recharging your batteries. At the same time, host Jaap was incredibly friendly and helpful – his recommendations for excursions and activities in the area were worth their weight in gold and made our stay even more varied. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation and are already looking forward to seeing you again. A real insider tip for those seeking relaxation and comfort in beautiful surroundings!

We liked the place very much and we would book again anytime! It is all very modernly furnished and it was all very clean! The highlight was the hot tub! When the hot tub is on you can't hear the highway anymore! On the other side of the property, the property is located directly on the forest. We enjoyed the tranquility and the location right in nature very much! Yorick is a superb host and very quick to respond!

The fireplace for heating was great :) Kids had such fun. There were also chickens, geese, ponies, rabbits... plenty of space to play :) Fresh eggs available :) We will definitely return. 👍👍
