Holiday rentals with a fireplace in East Lake

Jay was so responsive to us and all of our needs. His uniquely designed home was a perfect back drop for celebrating my weekend get an away! The beautiful outdoor space, the sprawling interior, and the extremely well stocked kitchen are all the things that made the trip extra special and easy. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Acadia House! The house was very spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5 and had a large, beautiful yard. The location was great, very close to Sandbanks and Picton. Our kids loved the basketball net and hammock. I loved that the house offered recycling and backyard composting, washer/dryer. This was a great place to stay in PEC and we would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Erica’s place for my friend’s bachelorette and it exceeded all expectations. The outdoor space is what truly makes this accommodation worth while - with a heated pool, hot tub, fire pit and a spectacular view to top it all off. We were lucky to have a beautiful weekend of weather and got to make the most of it. Inside the kitchen had everything appliance you could need to whip up a great meal overall and the space more than met our needs as a group of 7. Erica’s communication was top notch and she even approved a last minute early check-in request for our group. :) 10/10 would recommend.

Our family of 8 enjoyed a peaceful weekend here. The house was spacious and accommodated all of us easily. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Ontario and sitting on the deck while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is quite a ways off the beaten track, but it was so peaceful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We loved our stay at Doulas’ house!

L’endroit était parfait, bien entretenu, super propre, bien décoré. La cours arrière est super avec un petit coin détente et bbq. L’emplacement est idéal, tout est accessible à pied, à quelques pas des principales adresses de Picton. Je recommande :)

We just spent 5 nights at the postmaster's house and we had a wonderful time. Communication with Trevor was easy and everything was as described. The location is fantastic for a vacation, even with our 2 year old son. The environment around the house and the view from the backyard is very calming. We would, without hesitation, stay there again!!!

We stayed at the house for a family long weekend in May 2025. The property was as described and well appointed. A great base to visit the County.

What a beautiful home, right on the water! There were seven of us and the home accommodated us, no problem! Steph knew we were coming from all corners of the province and she was great at letting us check in a tad early. The place was spotless upon our arrival and was so well equipped— lots of dishes, wine glasses 🍷, towels, beach towels and plenty of “must haves” in the kitchen. We enjoyed our time out on the deck, watching the geese and swans and found the location so handy for our jaunts out to explore Wellington, Bloomfield, Picton and the Sandbanks. We would all highly recommend this spot!

Quel beau séjour nous avons eu chez Gwendoline! L'emplacement est parfait, bien central dans ce beau Prince Edward County. Et Wellington est une jolie ville bien vivante. L'appartement est lumineux et impeccable. Très charmant de surcroît. Sans oublier notre hôte. Gwen est sympathique, avenante et discrète à la fois, un avantage certain quand on vit sous un même toit. Un 5☆ de plus pour l'endroit aménagé juste pour nous au bord du lac, avec chaises longues et table pour bien profiter de ce magnifique lac. We enjoyed our stay in Picton. It was nice to have a pass to visit Sandbanks, which was the highlight of our stay. Denise & Mike were very proactive in communicating instructions, amenities and local attractions. We would stay at their property again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge immensely. Each room in the apartment is large, uncluttered and well appointed. The check-in instructions were detailed and the check-in experience was smooth. Having access to two parking spots was a bonus. Corey was responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gordana’s! They checked in with us daily to make sure everything is going well. Little chocolates were left on the bed, the bathroom and kitchen were spotless, everything was exactly as photographed. We’d definitely come back to their place when we visit Belleville again!

Merci à Candace pour le temps de réponse. L'arrivée était très facile et le logement tout à fait agréable. Tout était comme prévu et les photos rendent bien justice à la qualité du lieu. Tout était propre et juste assez grand pour nous deux. Tout se fait bien à pied pour les choses courantes (Garden Market juste derrière le LCBO à découvrir), les restos (plusieurs intéressants), le Métro, la boucherie, bref c'est un endroit où rester sans problème pour une durée d'une semaine (ou plus) comme ce fut notre cas. Ne pas oublier les vignobles (wow!). Amateurs de courtepointes, nous avons aussi découvert que cette région regorge de «barn quilts», ces blocs de courtepointes peintes et appliquées sur les bâtiments et qui ont des significations pour chacune des familles qui les affiche. C'est une pratique héritée des immigrants européens. Il y a même une application web qui permet de les suivre tout en visitant la région de Prince-Edouard. Dans la zone de Picton, il y en aurait une centaine!

Jane was a fantastic host! Very communicative and the place is exactly as listed. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful. Jane also added extra touches with some treats to cook over the firepit and one night came home to a freshly baked blueberry lemon loaf!! What a great surprise. Thanks Jane 😄

This was our second stay at Michael and Susan's guesthouse, and—once again—it was the perfect stay, and we felt right at home. The guesthouse is so comfy, clean, and elegantly designed. The interior is spacious, bright, and well-appointed. The private deck is lovely for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There are great wineries within walking distance, and amazing restaurants and shops in Wellington just a quick drive away (or nice easy bike ride). The area is wonderful for biking, running, walking, or just exploring. Mike and Susan are super helpful and friendly, but also very respectful of guests' privacy. Highly recommend! Worth staying a few nights if you can, to let the calm and quiet really sink in.

We had a wonderful time at Caroline's AirBnB! The grounds were beautiful and the home was stunning. Caroline was very responsive and easy to communicate with (the staff gave us a tour of the property, set up a fire and gave us town recommendations). I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

We really loved our visit and wished we were able to stay longer. The space is just as you see it in the listing. It was spotless and very comfortable. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. Dave was wonderful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants and helping when we couldn't figure out the tv. An exceptional historic mansion which has been restored with great attention to detail. This home and the people who cared for us made our 25th anniversary so memorable. Incredible breakfasts and work behind the scenes by Karen in particular to help with reservations and other details made our stay an absolute highlight of our time in PEC. Five stars by every measure.

My friend and I stayed for a night… the house was great and in a quiet neighborhood.. felt right at home.. the room was quite spacious and the bathroom was clean and neat..we had a peaceful night stay!! Carlos was very friendly..

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, and it pleasantly surprised us by being even more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Its ideal location near restaurants, cafes, shops, and Wellington Beach made our experience even better. Additionally, the short drive to beautiful wineries and beaches was a huge plus. Brent, our host, was exceptionally friendly and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

A really beautiful property and room that exudes class and elegance. Jake greeted us and gave us a short tour of the house and provided us a bit of its history. (wonderful artwork everywhere). Jake was friendly and accomodating, suggesting a few good spots for after-dinner drinks and entertainment (check out "The Acoustic" for some good live music). All communication was prompt and striaghtforward. Checkin was a breeze. We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room which was simply luxurious. Overall, just an excellent experience and we would absolutely return again. Highly recommend.

We actually did not sleep there. We arrived, unloaded, went out for supper, got back to the house and received a call. Our house back home was flooded with 50 cm of water after the horrible rain fall in Montreal. We had to leave at 10:30 and got home at 2:00 in the morning. Everything in our basement was destroyed. A disaster. I wrote to Jean and explained the situation. I wasn't expecting anything. To my complete surprise he gave us a future credit to replace both our lost nights with only the cleaning fee to cover. It was heartwarming and generous and a small ray of sunshine on the ruined celebration of our wedding anniversary weekend. Thank You Jean!
