House holiday rentals in East Kilbride

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Host was very friendly with very good communication throughout. On arrival the host made it very easy to get into the lodge and came in and explained all amenities on site and was very polite. Overall, throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We loved staying here. It is an exceptional setting with stunning views whatever the weather. The cottage is beautifully done out inside and feels like home away from home. You can completely cut off from the outside world and relax and unwind. Absolutely worth the 5 stars and we’ll definitely be booking to go back.

Don’t let the outside deter you, the inside is what you’re paying for. This apartment is located in a slightly run down neighborhood, which can seem a little unsettling at first- but once you get inside it’s everything they promised. Clean, comfortable and great communication.

Good place to stay, we used James's place as a base for a family wedding and everything was fine. very clean. plenty spacious. central location. we walked from the house and caught the bus and the train to Glasgow one day and it was really simple to do so from here.

Lovely place. Every man appreciates a lawn. It is belting. Would stay again. Only flaws was internet intermittent. But it was a good thing really! Cheers andy.

The caravan was spacious, especially for 2 people. Clear instructions how to get to caravanside and find caravan. There was an issue with warm water, Ruaraidh responded quickly and send someone to come and check, which was really appreciated.

Lesley Anne went above and beyond to ensure we had a first class stay in her property. The house was clean and fresh with lots of little thoughtful touches and was also extremely well equipped. Spacious and comfortable detached house in a quiet location just a few minutes from M77 motorway and retail park with Waitrose, Aldi etc. Emma was a good host and communicated well before and during visit.

Check in was late but the host rang and informed me. Unfortunately it meant we couldn’t check in until 11pm (as we were busy in the evening) but otherwise the stay was good. She offered us late check out instead but unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage of it as we had to leave by 10am anyway

You absolutely have to choose Claire’s place! Beautiful house with breathtaking views from the bedroom and lounge. Very responsive, helpful & generous. Beautiful town and easily accessible from the accommodation. Super comfortable beds & very spacious house throughout: bedrooms, lounge, bathroom & kitchen. When we come back to Scotland from Australia we will make the trip back to Claire’s!

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

This is the most perfect Airbnb I've ever stayed at. Everything was exceptional. Beautiful space for my group of friends to hang out. Shirley was super accommodating and we loved the experience and we'll definitely coming back for longer.

Great house in a great location. We stayed for 3 nights and felt the house was very good value for the money. Plenty of room for everyone. Parking in front of the house was a bonus. I would would definitely recommend Katie’s house for a family or group who are looking for a nice safe place to stay in Glasgow.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Comfort level excellent (especially bedroom). Cottage included everything you’d require for relaxing/cooking and having made the most of our week’s stay we appreciated a home from home to return to. I’d recommend Auchterarder and surrounding areas, and Dunsmore was just perfect. Credit to owners.

The property is in nice and quiet area. It was easy to locate, easy to get into the apartment. The place was very neat, tidy and cozy. Peter is a good host with good communication. he was reaching out to us until we got to the apartment, and until we settled. Overall nice experience.

I seriously want to gatekeep this house, but it is so incredible and needs to be shared. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. There were so many welcoming touches and it truly felt like home. The beds were comfortable, the rooms so spacious, the showers amazing (my gosh the water pressure, what a dream). We had everything we needed and more. The home and grounds were just stunning. We walked to dinner two of our nights and ate in the others. The history of the carriage house was so cool; the kids loved finding all of the hidden touches. Kylie and Scott were warm and friendly and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. We had the best hiking trip in beautiful Scotland and we were very sad to leave. I definitely hope to be booking a return trip soon.

Fantastic short stay at Ken’s place. Immaculately clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. Loved the hot tub too and the outside area in general. Thanks again, hope to be back.
