Chalet holiday rentals in East Flanders

We spent a great weekend at Ruth and Martin's. The two are great people, loving, hospitable, open and interested (but not intrusive). We were very well informed in advance about our stay so we knew what to expect before arrival (e.g. surroundings, shopping, wifi access, etc.). The small cottage was equipped with everything we needed. It is very well maintained, clean and beautifully furnished. We felt at home and didn't miss anything. We appreciated the proximity to Ghent, but actually spent our time on the farm and lying in the sun. The huge and winding garden invites you to dream, you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. Thank you Ruth and Martin for this beautiful PLACE!

What a fantastic place to stay this is! Small but very nice (and fully furnished) pods in a quiet and green environment, with a fantastic view on a picturesque high pedigree in which sheep graze. After cycling part of the Tour of Flanders and the delicious food that day, we slept wonderfully in the evening. So glad it's so quiet over there! The immediate surroundings are really beautiful! :) Annette gave us - before we left again - the tip to make a stop in the nearby Brakelbos: the purple forest hyacinths are currently blooming again. That was a golden tip: this was really beautiful to see! Thank you for hospitality Annette! And hopefully see you next time!

Thanks to Benedict: nice cottage in a small neighborhood in the middle of the woods. All amenities nearby (Ursel or Aalter, 5 minutes drive). Well placed to visit Bruges, Ghent and the North Coast + nice site 5 minutes from the house for hiking in the woods, quiet. Norwegian bath very nice and easy to use.

Beautiful place to stay! We had a party nearby and were sorry we couldn't stay a little longer to enjoy the area. Wonderful view of the fields behind the garden, really beautifully done! Breakfast was also very tasty, we will definitely come back.
