Holiday rentals with a home cinema in East County, San Diego

Julia’s place was everything we hoped for and more—exactly as described and just as beautiful as the photos. We came to San Diego to run the Rock and Roll Marathon, and the location couldn’t have been more ideal. Being within walking distance to the start line made race day smooth and stress-free. The home itself was clean, stylish, and full of thoughtful touches. Our kids felt right at home the moment we arrived, and they especially loved the projector—it made movie nights feel just like being at the theater. Nestled in a lively neighborhood near Balboa Park and a great selection of restaurants, this stay truly made our marathon weekend unforgettable.

The perfect midweek getaway that we needed! What a beautiful space conveniently located right above the beach that gives the most spectacular view of the ocean! Quiet, roomy, and the most perfect, serene, retreat that makes you forget anyone else is even around. The photos in this listing don’t lie! We had the best time, ate some amazing food at the easily accessible restaurants (all in walking distance), soaked up all the sun and relaxed and enjoyed watching the surfers from bed in the morning and sunsets in the evening. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our first time in San Diego. This Airbnb was just perfect for our family trip. My parents and our two little children had a fantastic time, enough space and the kitchen had everything we needed. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We absolutely recommend this place.

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

Best airbnb I have ever been to, they have everything I needed for a short vacation stay. You really only need clothes 😂

We had the BEST time staying here for our work “girls night”. The house was beautiful. Very clean with fun outdoor activities and a movie theater! Would love to come back and stay again!

Went out of a weekend getaway from the desert heat with my girlfriend and our friends. Waking up in the morning to a beautiful view with nice fresh climate was great. The surrounds allow for a relaxing vacation as it’s nice and quiet. As to our host Liliya was amazing. Very responsive, helpful, and friendly! We had an issue and when texted her she replied right away and came to help us. Her response time was perfect her attitude was great! I will recommend this to anyone that wants a nice quiet weekend away. As it has a breathtaking view and the host is lovely!

Great location and cute neighborhood. Lots of space to spread out in the house for are large party. The Bedrooms were nice and big and the kitchen was stocked very well.

The home was exactly as pictured. Easily held our group of 13 family members. Location is beautiful and felt very safe. Mo was extremely responsive with every question we had. Best communication of all stays in AirBnB we have had. Would definitely stay again. Only con…would not pay to heat pool again.

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space! Our family had a delightful stay. It was a clean apartment in a great location right next to the beach. We’ll be back!

Unit was great. It was clean and comfortable. I wish there were more hooks to hang towels and swimsuits on. Also the hallway leading to the unit had plumbing issues they were repairing. So the hallway stunk pretty bad and it kind of came into the room. But they did have fans on it and the issue should be resolved soon. I would stay in this unit again.

We spent a week in this apartment in Oceanside and despite the weather not being as good as normal for the time of year we had a lovely time. Great apartment, well equipped for people who want to self-cater, very confortable and right by the beach.

We had a wonderful time at this location, watching the sunset from the balcony and taking walks along the beach. The place was perfectly located near the ocean, restaurants and stores. We will definitely be coming back to stay, the place felt like home away from home. I also can’t say enough about how kind and thoughtful for the host to check up on us. This condo is absolutely beautiful. The views from both balconies were stunning and the entire condo complex is so peaceful.

Perfect location, beautiful sunsets, kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. Walkable to everything! Would definitely stay again!
