What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Great place and great location! The outside deck was a beautiful place to hang out. Tons of walking paths and easy to get around. Would stay again.

The place was easy to find and plenty of space for our family to enjoy Northern MN. It isn't too far from the local stores. It was an easy location that is accessible if you want to explore Duluth, Silver Bay, Lusten and Grand Marais. Thank you.

Roomy and very clean, comfortable. The decks were a big plus, as the weather was better than expected. Well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Host was readily available to answer questions. Great location for hiking the shore, waterfalls, and rivers at nearby state parks. Grand Marais was just 20 minutes north; Coho Cafe always great (Salmon Chowder!); dining at Blue Fin Bay was easy, but mixed reviews on our meals.

Our getaway was absolutely ideal! With ample space for all seven of us, we found the perfect balance of comfort and fun. The two little ones had plenty of room to play indoors with the chilly weather outside. The kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to whip up delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. We truly can’t express how perfectly this place catered to all our needs—it made our trip unforgettable!

Beautiful lake home! We really enjoyed our stay here, very close to Lake Superior and Gooseberry falls a short drive away. Everything was clean and cozy, our son loved all the little black bear decorations :)

I loved Jamie’s Space, I was travelling for work, however, having time within Jamie’s space afterwards made relaxing a whole lot easier! A lot of thought, and work was put into her space! I enjoyed the natural products she has, and it has even made me go back to using more natural products at home, and maybe declutter my space a little and decorate it more! There a lot of detail put into it that she really doesn’t have to do, however, the above and beyond is greatly appreciated! Thanks for allowing me to stay in your space! Such an amazing vibe, and loved the back yard.

exceptional lightning fast internet that enabled 2 remote workers to work all week without problems very clean and well kept space with lots of coffee to welcome us and keep us fueled for workdays and local adventures outside in the north shores area large easy parking was extremely safe and private, which was especially helpful because I was moving cross country and had my car loaded with personal items. never felt unsafe!

Would highly recommend! Comfortably fit our large group. Loved cozying up next to the fire after long days of skiing!

Peaceful, clean place with a well supplied kitchen and entertainment options for staying in. Close to many of the great parks and trails of the north shore. Host was friendly and responsive. Everything was simple.

I’m so grateful for our time at Anna’s place. The puzzle and game wall kept us busy during the evenings and our kids really enjoyed the loft with the toys. We spent so much time enjoying rock hunting on the private beach and dinner around the campfire. The location was perfect, 10 minutes from Judge C Magney State Park and just a few minutes from town. We had 6 in our group and had plenty of space and extra beds. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Terry and the crew did a great job. The place is exactly what you would expect from the photos. Was a great weekend and will be back!

Kevin was quick to respond and very friendly. Easy access to home which we found very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, towels and soaps/shampoos provided. Two separate rooms to hang out in. Many board games provided as well as foosball table. Used grill on deck. Short drive to several hiking trails. Favorite time was viewing the beautiful sunrise over Lake Superior every morning! Would definitely stay there again.

We had such a peaceful trip and will 100% be back for a longer trip. The views are absolutely amazing, the lake is clean and beautiful. So quite and relaxing. Ely has some nice restaurants and we are looking forward to coming back to explore more.

Lovely home would def book again

Fjordheim was a Great location for our recent family get together. The spacious house was clean, neat, and had a well equipped kitchen and laundry. The views of Lake Superior are magnificent. Close enough yet distant enough from Duluth and an easy drive from The Cities. We look forward to a return visit.

Such a lovely and charming stay! The house was full of character – thoughtfully decorated with unique art pieces that gave it a warm, personal touch. Every corner felt intentional, and the overall vibe was quaint and cozy. A perfect little retreat with great attention to detail. Would definitely stay again!

This home offered everything we needed for hosting our friends' first Minnesota experience! There was space and activities for everyone in our group, ages <1 to... grown ups. Quiet, private, and clean. Karen made herself available, but we didn't find a reason to reach out. Overall we were very pleased and would happily stay again.

My family enjoyed our stay at Joseph's, and appreciated the extra effort he made to provide a high chair and travel crib. You can see Lake Superior from the living room and it was an easy walk to Castle Danger Brewery!

Jordan’s place was very nice to stay at at, I wish I had stayed longer. I highly recommend everyone else stays here.

Andrew lets us use their place for two of our guests visiting Thunder Bay, they were very impressed how well and thoughtfully everything was kept. Overall I would like to use the place again, highly recommended!
