Communication with the hosts was smooth and fast before and during the stay. The studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area, and reading by the fireplace in the evenings. It was so nice to relax on the lakeshore, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops nearby. I would def stay here again!

Best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! Comfortable beds(like sleeping on a cloud) amenities and extras, soda and water in fridge, even butter and milk and cereal, the tea collection, the back yard oasis, both day and night,pool, personal welcome, kitchen well stocked, bathroom extras from lotion to vanity sets. We felt very welcomed and accepted. We will stay here next time we come from the states!

Great place to stay in Two Harbors! Close to everything! Comfortable bed, very homey vibes! It smelled AMAZING right when we walked in the entryway! We had a great time and would definitely book this place again!

MaryKate was very welcoming when we arrived. Super friendly! The surroundings were beautiful with a perfect view of the lake from the front windows. Walking distance to the North Folk School campus and good restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay there.

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Everything was great, would recommend it. Only advise would be to bring a sound machine if traveling with little kids because the noise travels from the conveniently located pool area and even though the walls of the condo

There are Airbnbs that offer a stay, but the Tofte House provides an exceptional Airbnb experience. From start to finish this was a flawless process. The home offers everything you could possibly need from comfortable beds and a well stocked and labeled kitchen, and the serene lake and fauna provided a wonderful background, but the graciousness of Deidra sharing her enthusiasm of the house and the area is what made this trip comfortable, fun, rejuevinating and memorable. They have thought of everything to make your vacation special: we cant wait for the next trip!

We had such a peaceful trip and will 100% be back for a longer trip. The views are absolutely amazing, the lake is clean and beautiful. So quite and relaxing. Ely has some nice restaurants and we are looking forward to coming back to explore more.

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Our group had plenty of space and comfortable arrangements to make ourselves at home. Centrally location in Two Harbors allowed us to walk around town and access everything conveniently and quickly.

exceptional lightning fast internet that enabled 2 remote workers to work all week without problems very clean and well kept space with lots of coffee to welcome us and keep us fueled for workdays and local adventures outside in the north shores area large easy parking was extremely safe and private, which was especially helpful because I was moving cross country and had my car loaded with personal items. never felt unsafe!

This was the best Airbnb we've been to in a long time. Not only was it a gorgeous historical house with tons of history (and things to read inside about it's personal history), but the interior was beautifully kept as well. The beds were quite comfortable, not overly squishy memory foam but also not hard as boards. The area has innumerable sites to see, whether you prefer new foods, new views, or anything in between. Nadine thought of everything for us, and we hope we can come back to this gorgeous home away from home!

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Words can’t even express the amount of gratitude we had for this space. We absolutely took advantage of the entire place. It was magical!. The location, the food, the view, all the people and all intentional things, What a gift!. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. We will be back.

My family and I stayed up here for a quick weekend trip, myself, my fiancée, our 6 month old and our dog. This Airbnb was the perfect combination of prime location and amenities. Day one before check-in we were able to drive the short distance to Grand Marais and go shop around the town, try out some new food, and walk the dog on the shore of Lake Superior. Check-in was such a breeze through the hosts extremely clear instructions. The condo was really clean and well stocked with all the little things that you forget to pack on a weekend away (and coffee)! The location being between Tofte and Lutsen let us get out to a few different towns to check out great food and drink options. One morning we went to Coho cafe for breakfast and coffee followed by 3 waterfalls all within 15 minutes, it made for a beautiful day. That afternoon we went down to the shore right at the resort and just took in the view. The sauna, hot tub and pool were just the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back 👍

This is the perfect place to stay if taking a class at North House or exploring Grand Marais. The location is perfect, and the place is cozy. I’d love to stay here again.

Abby and Zach were excellent hosts! She provided thorough information on the check in as well as little things to know about the space. I appreciated the mid-stay "I hope all is going well" communication, and it was aj added bonus to meet them up in the common area while we were there - super nice and helpful folks. Also? This may be one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in while traveling! Thanks again for sharing a fantastic space in a beautiful location with us.

This spot is a gem! We spent a beautiful weekend here with my family- and my kids are already asking when we can go back. Amazing views, lots of privacy in this beautiful and comfortable condo. We could have spent all weekend in the very fun pool and wandering the shores of Lake Superior. The location is also amazing jumping off point for exploring. Don’t miss Cedar Coffee in Two Harbors. We also went north to check out split rock and the black beach and south to the new scenic cafe, Duluth grill, and summer adventures and spirit mountain. The condo has three suites which offer nice space for each member of your party. Perfect for our family of five, and would also be great for a few families or a girls trip. The spot was easy to access and Karen was really responsive. I cannot wait to go back!

The stay was great! The loft was very clean, functional, and as described. The furniture, beds, and over all craftsmanship/style of the loft was awesome. Yea, it can be a bit noisy but it didn’t bother my family which included my wife, our 10 year old and my sister. The view is great! Grand Marias is always joy to visit and the Cassidy’s place is positioned perfectly to take advantage of what the town has to offer. I would definitely recommend 10/10.
