Guest house holiday rentals in East Austin

We loved staying here! The location is perfect- so close to the city and all the places we wanted to go to. The place was clean and had all the amenities we wanted (even a pack and play for our child which was a bonus). Jeany was a lovely host and we would happily stay there again if we visit Austin again. Recommend!

My boyfriend and I took a last minute long weekend trip here for a birthday and it was exactly what we were hoping for - walkable, quiet, private, and clean! We really enjoyed having a washer and dryer, which allowed us to pack light and the fully-stocked kitchen allowed for easy meals when we just wanted to stay in. Zero things to note, the thoughtful touches are evident throughout, you’ll love your stay here!

Cozy place, feels like a mini home away from home. Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, close to all the hot spots Austin has to offer. Would definitely recommend. Loved the furry and feathered pets!

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Jessa and Blake’s guesthouse. Clean, cozy, cute space, and welcoming. Has everything you’ll need. Even though the address is on a busy road the guesthouse is very quiet. Easy parking on the side streets. Sheets and towels are good quality. The bed is VERY comfortable. Plenty of hangars for clothes. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was good. If you come back at night walkways are illuminated and a motion sensor light comes on. The neighborhood is one of Austin’s originals so if you like houses with character this is the spot. Grocery stores and places to eat within a ten minute drive. Would absolutely come back and stay at the guest house!

This place was perfect. I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby but doesn't have room for me to stay with her. This hip little spot is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet and cute. Lots of nearby yummy places to walk to.

Sean was proactive in communicating ahead of our stay, and gave us clear check-in directions. The house has tons of natural light, was very clean, and included nice small such as makeup remover in the bathroom (which my partner was thankful for!), a couple Topo Chicos in the fridge, and beach towels. Parking was easy, neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and was equidistant to the river and several amazing cafes/food! Already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Austin.

Very much enjoyed our stay for my birthday weekend! Central location in a quiet neighborhood. Communication was great. Nice touch with local beer and snacks upon arrival. Bed was very comfy! Will definitely be back.

We loved staying at Allison and Steven’s guesthouse for a week! The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and in a great location. The guest house was very comfortable, cute, and felt spacious. The backyard was lovely and we felt right at home. Allison and Steven were very friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come back next time we’re in ATX. Definitely recommend!

Rita’s place is close to my Shady Hollow family… very convenient. I’ve stayed there a couple of times and it will always be my first choice for future stays.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was a perfect location for my first time visiting Austin - so easy to catch a ride downtown. The patio has a gorgeous view of the DT Austin skyline. David was so friendly and helpful. The place is very comfortable and I felt right at home.

We had a great experience with Rachel! She communicated very well and instructions were clear. The bed was super comfortable with cotton/natural fiber bedding (really makes a difference!). We also appreciated the Brita pitcher in the fridge. AC worked well! Very quiet, peaceful and felt very safe. In walking distance to restaurants. Location was just 15 minutes from the airport. We really enjoyed Alison's tiny house! It was cozy and private. The space was well-laid-out, comfortable even though small, and the tall ceiling and skylights gave us a beautiful view every time we looked up! One day during our stay a storm rolled in, and we loved watching the trees above the little house wave back and forth in the wind. There were nice kitchen touches, including good coffee-making supplies. Excellent shower, too! At one point we thought we heard a cat meowing, and after contacting Alison she sent someone right over to check underneath the deck and free a kitten that had gotten trapped. I would highly recommend this AirBnB. I hope to go back sometime!

Michaels place was perfect for my friend and I. Slept comfortably. Hot tub worked great. Michael was helpful in giving us recommendations and being very responsive during our stay. Check-in was easy. Would recommend!

Great place, a few minutes drive from the Colorado river. Comfortable bed and large kitchen table were much appreciated. Hosts were very responsive and flexible with check in. Would return again next time we are in the area.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Kristina’s BNB! Cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, and it smelt like a fresh garden walking in because you’re surrounded by a garden! Instructions to check in and check out were super clear and easy to follow, and the host was very sweet on top of everything! This was our first time in Austin and I’m so glad we had a great first experience. I would totally come back and stay at Kristina’s place again. I highly recommend staying here for a guaranteed relaxing vacation. :)

This stay hit all the marks. It’s in a great location with quick access to everything we wanted to do while also providing the peace and privacy you rarely get this close to Austin. We always felt welcomed coming/going by the hosts and hope to stay again in the future.

Nice & quite place, beautiful backyard, easily accessible and close to all. Alan was so friendly, helpful and communicating always. Overall had a great stay!
