Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Dupont Circle, Washington

What an amazing place and location! Perfect everything. So cute and comfy and clean with everything you need. Fadi was so responsive to messages and very friendly and accommodating. Beds are so comfortable and linens are luxurious!! Perfect location to all things DuPont Circle and DC. Willard is a beautiful quiet street. Can not recommend enough!!

Just stayed this weekend!! it was 4 of us staying and spacious and accommodating for all of us!! 100% recommend, hosts were absolutely amazing!! Beautiful space and great if you have a pet!! We definitely want to stay here again!

Great house! V nice location, lots of room, the house had a nice common area, nice furniture and touches, and many details were thought of — automatic dishwasher and laundry dispenser, umbrellas in the entrance, etc … would highly recommend!

Bridget was very helpful and allowed us to drop bags until the unit was clean. Very nice and a pleasure to speak with as we did a few times during our stay. The unit was definitely as described and very nicely decorated and furnished. We would definitely stay her again. Such a cute place and the location was perfect for restaurants, drinks and sightseeing. We loved it. Bridget and Roy are the perfect hosts.

Very happy with our stay. Three adults - one son moving into grad school from cross-country - and we were all comfortable. We had a parking space, two bathrooms, and room to relax at the end of long days. Close to groceries and restaurants. This is an old but charming home, be prepared for stairs, some squeaks etc. that come with an old home in a humid place, but air conditioning, wifi, showers, laundry machines worked perfectly, home decor fun and comfortable, pretty plants abound, lovely light and views, and quiet at night. Communication from owners excellent along the way to tweak the use of their alarm system or fix a sticky door. Finally, I noted their use of recyclable goods like plastic and paper. Much appreciated!

It's a great cozy place to stay as it says. The place is very close to the busline, which can take you to the train for the city. Howevr, I have 2 minor things: the path from street to the place where you stay is not ideal, requires climbing down the stones placed on the slope. Also, if you are a tall person, your knees might touch the bathroom cabinet while using the toilet.

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. Easy check in, super communicative host, and the accommodations were exactly what I needed for a long weekend. I loved the code-lock door and not having to worry about keeping track of a key, the tv and couch made for a comfortable relaxation spot, there was a nice desk for me to work at, plenty of outlets…it really was a wonderful airbnb location. Shareef was an excellent host, I especially appreciated him reminding me that I could use a parking pass the day before I was supposed to check in and forgot myself! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I need to stay in DC again. :)

Apartment was super tidy and linens and towels were fresh and clean. We stayed almost a week. Phebe was very responsive the few times I messaged her, the A/C units kept the apartment nice and cold, great water pressure in the shower. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen (utensils, cups, etc..) and the bathroom had extra of everything. We traveled with our 2 kids and they shared the sofa bed in the living room which they said was really comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have an extra TV in the bedroom since the only TV is in the living room where the sofa bed is and the kids have a different sleeping time than us, I guess if you don’t have to use the sofa bed this is not an issue, other than that my rating is still a 5 and I would stay there again.

Frank’s place was in a great location, with lots of restaurants and stores nearby but in a quieter area. Parking was available on the street, and we used an uber to get to where we needed to go. Recommend!

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

This is one of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. The apartment is spacious and well lit with all of the things one might want as a visitor. The access to a parking spot was a game-changer that allowed me to have 1:1 meetings with friends who visited from other parts of the city. The Whole Foods was a block away enabling me to easily do some shopping and go out when I wanted a special meal. And the ease of proximity to a broad range of stores, restaurants and sites make it a really lovely stay with a delightful host.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable; I'd go back as there's a lot more to do in the immediate neighborhood and good walking in the surrounding area. We had a bit of street noise our first night (Friday of a holiday weekend), but even that quieted down around 10ish. A very pleasant stay. Oh, and Eric & Kate are terrific hosts. Super responsive and gracious -- even when I made a mistake that certainly inconvenienced them. Couldn't ask for better.

David's place was great for a night in town on business when hotels were booked and rates were high during a busy time in DC. Reasonable rate and a spacious, well-equipped place between the Dupont Circle and U Street corridor neighborhoods. Very safe area with lots of restaurants and bars neaby. Would book again.

Great location! Super walkable to so many restaurants, bars, and things to do in DC. Friendly host and nice unit. Would recommend and rebook.

Very enjoyable stay! Place was great, modern, spacious and well equipped! Host was friendly, and I could tell would’ve been happy to help but fortunately we’re quite familiar with DC so we didn’t need anything. Cabinets were stocked with helpful supplies, seasonings, etc! Really appreciated the water that was left for us in the fridge!! Neighborhood felt safe, walkable. Plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. Parking like most areas in DC is a little scarce but we always found a spot down the street on 14th or around the block on Florida. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay! Beautiful neighborhood and close to great shops and restaurants/cafes. Marvin was a very responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place to stay!

Claire is an excellent host and her place is lovely and very welcoming. We were there as a family and really enjoyed the space. Also Claire was very responsive and helped answer our questions fast. We’d love to stay at her place when we visit the area again.

Great stay! Allan’s place was comfortable and relaxing. It was literally a 15min drive to the downtown area and 5min away from the grocery store. There was a great coffee spot on the corner and a dog friendly park in close proximity. Clean, inviting and cozy! We’ll be back again.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

Cheri and Cliff’s home was immaculate! I will absolutely be booking for a future staycation! The bnb was so cute and they were extremely responsive! I was a little nervous that they were staying above the home at first, and despite the footsteps on the ceiling, there were no disturbances whatsoever; it will not deter me from future bookings with them! 10/10

This listing is just as good as advertised, with a convenient location close to popular spots throughout the DMV area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the free on-site parking. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with modern gadgets that made the stay even more comfortable.

Thomas’ place was stunning. The view was amazing, and the entire space felt cozy, charming, extremely clean, and peaceful. The location was perfect—beautiful and walkable, close to Tysons malls, great restaurants, and the Tysons Metro station. A perfect spot for anyone visiting the DC area. Thomas was very attentive and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Overall, this is a top-notch place and probably my favorite choice when visiting the DC area.
