Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Dupont Circle, Washington

We had a great week at Maya’s place. It was like “old school” Airbnb in the best possible ways: a friendly host that meets you and shows you in, random food in the pantry and fridge to snack on, coffee and tea on hand, shampoo in the bathroom. I miss those days! The location was convenient with many restaurants to choose from and 2 metro stops within an easy walk. Comfortable furniture and bed in the unit. Clean. Kitchen well equipped for basic cooking, including a sharp knife (a rarity in Airbnb’s). Plentiful parking in the secure garage under the building. We would definitely return next time we need a place in Ballston!

We had a great stay in this unit! Both bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the common areas offered plenty of room to relax. The unit comfortably sleeps five adults—though the bunk bed area is more suitable for young children, as it’s quite small and doesn’t have a door. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes and glassware, and the amenities throughout the unit were excellent. Crystal Towers is a beautiful property with an impressive lobby and exterior. While the hallways could use a bit of updating, our overall experience was very positive. The hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. After an inconvenience of another air bnb, the owner, Sarah, was very quick to reply and provided us access quickly. This rental is in a convenient location between two metro stations, both a 10 min walk. Enjoyed the cleanliness of the rental and the area in general. Lots of restaurant options, close to Whole Foods and a mall area. Outdoor playgrounds clean nearby. The rental had plenty of room for my family of 5. Overall, great trip for my family!

This is my second stay and it was great once again. The apartment is perfect for one person and is a great place to hang out when you don’t want to be out enjoying all of the Ballston area restaurants. I’ll be back.

Extremely helpful and nice host, the place is absolutely stunnig with an amazing view, two perfect bedrooms with separate bathrooms giving us space and privacy. Highly recommend!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! We had a great stay here, and it was in a nice part of town. Plenty of places to eat as well. The apartment was as described.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is excellent easy access to dining, shopping, and Washington DC. The place was very clean, and the instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and helpful. The only minor inconvenience was the 10 am check-out time, as most Airbnb and hotels typically check out at 11 am. Overall, a great experience and a very responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here with two of my friends for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time! Room was incredibly clean and very spacious, with a lovely kichenette. Staff were amazing, amenities like the pool and hot tub were great, and overall a great experience. Janee was also super helpful, kind, and responsive!

Tunji’s place was near everything I had to do and had secure parking garage. He was very helpful and responsive. This was all a last minute booking and he made it very smooth. Thank you for the hospitality!

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

This condo is highly recommended. The host is very easy to work with and provides beautiful and comfortable accommodations. The condo is incredibly close to the Friendship Heights Metro stop along with a list of other shops, restaurants, and grocers. The building is easy to navigate and quiet. Everyone really keeps to themselves. I truly enjoyed my stay, felt safe, and would absolutely stay here again.

Lucas was great.! Had a few hiccups because of the holiday season and Lucas went above and beyond to help solve the issue!

Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.

Very, very clean and spacious. Adrian sent very clear check-in directions and responded promptly to communications. He also provided a thorough guest manual. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The space was more comfortable than in pictures and the gym equipment seemed very nice. We were very happy with our stay.

Juniper Place was a more than lovely stay for our 2 families. The home was pristine, beds were amazingly comfortable, kitchen, dining area nicely accommodated. The backyard with fireplace was an added bonus that we enjoyed several evenings during our stay, basement with additional living space and gaming for teens was also great! Kitchen snacks, drinks and amenities was a wonderful touch! Great property and great host, highly recommended!! Job well done Jack :-}

Nice little house. Close to Old Town and many nice restaurants and shops. Clean neighborhood and it felt really safe. The house is small and a little bit older but it has everything you need. Plenty of seating, 2 decent sized bedrooms. Would certainly recommend to others. I actually enjoyed being able to pull my truck right up front and load and unload. Very solid spot for a weekend trip.

The James-Cecil home was an amazing choice for my Family. My family and I had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, The home was spotless, just like the pictures from the Air B&B website. The home was beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy which lead to an amazing night sleep being away from home. What the James and Cecil group didn’t say was how amazing the view at night overlooking Washington DC was breathtaking from the house. The James and Cecil Group went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I recommend the James and Cecil home to anyone looking to create beautiful memories with your family. I would like to say this experience was a 10/10.
