Holiday rentals with a patio in Dublin

Brian's place was a gem in Dublin. It's located in the waterfront area, which seems to be more of a business/office space separated from the downtown pub and restaurant scene. This means it's about 20 minutes' walk to the pubs and historical/tourist area, which may be a con depending on your perspective. Only other con is that parking is challenging, but there's a garage nearby where you can park for ~30 EUR / day (average for the area). Pros: beautiful location, cafe and Tesco located very closely. Apartment was private, quiet, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. Coffee and tea provided. Shower is provided with shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Brian as a host was very friendly, highly responsive, and provided flexible checking and even gave some great recommendations for the area. Fantastic host and would recommend him and this location to others.

An authentic airbnb allows you to experience a place (& some of its people) in a way that not only meets your sleeping needs, but feels expansive. That happened at Rory & Yvonne's place. What a gem this studio is in charming Dalkey. It felt surprisingly spacious for a short stay, linens were comfy, towels were soft, and the chilled water in fridge was much appreciated. This is a 5 star airbnb. The key code gated yard outside your door makes it feel remarkably private. Our only regret was not meeting Milo. The location is as walkable as described. A lovely vacation spot!

Great 2 bedroom accommodation for our 3 night stay with the option of eating out or cooking for ourselves. Very comfortable and only short walk to the bus into the city.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Jane was! First time in Ireland and I couldn't figure out how to make phone calls to order in food. Jet lagged (after being up over 24 hrs) and hungry, couldn't possibly go out to eat. Jane took care of us by picking up a few items at the grocery for us!!! Way beyond our expectations! She also helped steer us for other issues that came up. The apartment was PERFECT! Cozy, with everything we could need in the kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom and shower!Absolutely stunning gardens, with lovely outdoor seating for chilling. It's a nice walk to town, where they have all the things you need including the train. David was a wonderful host and very responsive. He gave very detailed instructions so we wouldn't be confused. His home was beautiful and very comfortable. Though the location is a bit far, if you have a car its a nice change from staying in a big city. The bus is also conviently located ( though look into a temporary leap pass if you intend to use it!). Would highly recommend a stay here!

This place was great! It is adjacent to a very good town square style shopping complex with a movie theater. Very safe. Groceries just down the way by walking only 2 minutes. Added bonus is that parking was included! Trust me, in Europe- parking is so expensive and they get you at every stop, so it was nice to end every night with free and covered parking. This address is not exactly next door to the downtown Dublin metroplex, but we knew that and were very pleased. Outskirts of town which we like and only a 15 min drive to downtown. Host Ashling was amazing, proactive, gave great details and pics leading up to check in, and even had an associate there for us when we checked in. Check out was very easy as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for our family vacation with grown kids. Very spacious and not at all cramped. Layout was great and had everything we needed. Best stocked AirBnB ever - host provided lovely basket, so no need to go to shops. Transportation close by as well as nice park. Would definitely recommend and go back again. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Alex’s place. The accommodation featured thoughtfully designed smart home details that made our experience both comfortable and modern. Everything was impeccably clean, and we really appreciated the provided essentials like shower gel, towels, and fresh bed linens. There were plenty of entertainment options available, which made our stay even more enjoyable, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our visit. Communication with Alex was always quick and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The space itself was beautiful and welcoming — my colleague and I felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be coming back to stay with Alex again in the future!

Immaculate home in a great setting on the beach. The marina development and independent shops and restaurants along with Greystones proximity to the Wicklow National park and Dublin made this a great spot to stay for a few days. We will definitely return in the future

Highly recommend Marie’s Airbnb. House was beautiful and very spacious with everything you needed inside. The Airbnb was a 3 minute walk from Aldi & Lidl as well as having a cafe next door. Beds were extremely comfortable and Marie as a host was very accommodating and friendly. This Airbnb is a hidden gem and I would definitely book again!

This home is in a fantastic location! It is literally a few paces away from the Howth cliff walk, what a great way to start the day! Johnny was an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Great place to stay in Howth! Plenty of space for our family of 5 and easy to walk in to the town for a meal or an ice cream. Paul was a very accommodating and responsive host. We would certainly stay again.

This is a beautiful, comfortable hidden gem in Dublin. Exquisite tasteful 2 bedroom house with kitchen, donning room, living-room, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful garden. Lots of light and lots of plants. Miles was very attentive and always willing to help us out with whatever issue we had. I stayed here for my daughter’s graduation and she (and us) needed a quiet place to work during the day. Yet a quick 5-10 minute walk and we were in a nice restaurant, a coffee shop, a launderette, bus stop, Luas or supermarket. After a mere 25 minute walk we were right at Temple Bar. Truly recommend this beautiful home away from home!

Faultless. The house was stunning, the price was amazing for what you get, everything is of the highest quality (the wifi speeds are unreal too). The communication from Danielle leading up to check in and beyond was ideal and made it so easy. Having a supermarket less than 10 minutes walk from the house is a massive bonus and the selection there on offer if you want to stay in and cook is excellent. 15 minutes to Dublin city centre in a taxi (we tried the bus - but they dont take contactless payment yet). Easily the nicest place I have ever stayed in, and everything was catered for on our trip. Everyone in our party said the same thing, from when we arrived to when we left, everything was perfect...even the weather! 5 stars arent enough.

John was an excellent host - always responsive and helpful. He was very concerned that things went well for us. He met us for check-in and went through the care of home/utilities, and responded immediately when we had questions. The apartment is lovely - with a serene outdoor patio area. The shops at Blackrock are a pleasant 10 minute walk away, or via bus with access right nearby. Thanks to John and Sinead for helping make our time in Ireland so pleasant.

The location was the perfect spot centrally located and although it's in Temple Bar area the apartment is very quiet at night! Great space very clean, nice large bathroom, beds were comfortable and Rudy was the ultimate host! Very helpful! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Apartment was fine and well outfitted. Location was great and my fault for not noticing that it is on M1 highway coming into town so does have a fair amount of street noise/traffic all the time. The tradeoff for ideal location was worth it. Had everything one coud need, Thank you.

This is a spacious apartment in a good location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Charles was a very responsive host. Having access to a washer and dryer was greatly appreciated. You can hear some noise from the street at night, so if you are a light sleeper, earplugs or a sound machine could be useful. There is a fantastic bakery next door with coffee, breakfast, and treats.

Lovely place! Everything was as described. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Neighborhood felt quiet and very safe. I only wish it was closer to the city centre as driving was a bit nerve-wracking! John was a very responsive host who was accommodating. Would definitely recommend satyomg here!

The place was perfect location from the airport and short distance by cab to restaurants in Swords. We highly recommend The Old Schoolhouse pub..fantastic food and service. Phil’s place was pristine and beautiful furnishings. Very clear instructions. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time in this Airbnb in Greystones . Very friendly, helpful hosts … not intrusive but there if you wanted anything. Cottage was spacious and the dining area looked into the garden which was nice at dinner and breakfast . Location is excellent beside the cliff path to Bray and on the path to the town centre. The station and beaches are easily in walking distance. We used the DART to go to Dublin and Howth. Lots to do in the area… Glendalough, Powerscourt, Walk to Bray via Bray head etc. Mount Usher .. we wished we had booked for two weeks. The dog is a real beauty .. so friendly and the hens and ducks are so relaxing to watch. The train does run nearby but you get used to that . We would definitely stay here again. Lots of shops nearby and restaurants. We had great weather but that can’t be guaranteed in Ireland! All in all a lovely place to relax and explore the area.

Sean was amazing! So helpful and friendly with everything. He was very accommodating and offered to drive us to and from public transit as we didn't have a vehicle. He was exactly what you want your host to be! Always answered quickly and gave us amazing recommendations. I would recommend this airbnb to everyone! Thank you again Sean
